So Very Vellum!

Here is a simple, yet elegant card that we made at my classes on Sunday!

I used the Pleased to Punch DSP - which is one of the Coordination products available this month.  I just punched out the hearts from that DSP!  And then I used the So Very Vellum- which is one of the new Sale-a-bration choices, that you can get for FREE with a $50 order.

It is a fun z fold card & one of my favorite go to folds!!

Little Ladybug!

I love this cute Ladybug card!!!  It is just sooo cute!

I posted this card on my blog a couple of days ago.  Many of you have emailed me & asked me for the measurements.  I didn't have time to add them when I did the original blog post.  But keep reading below to find out more details now on how to make this card!

It is a fun z fold card.

I made the dots using my Memento ink pad & a sponge dauber!  NOTE:  Be sure you ink up your sponge dauber well & then press down hard & HOLD a few seconds to help get a darker spot.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the ladybugs & the stemmed flower too!  I had the 3 ladybugs lined up like this onto one plate.  I stamped them all at one time!  The stemmed flower was on the other clear plate.  It worked out great stamping them this way!

 I then colored them!  And then cut out all 3 ladybugs at one time!

 Look at all of them I made!

Well Dressed!

I LOVE IT!!
The colors, the stamp set, the layout!  It is just a great guy card!  And it is a Susie card. 

This is one of the cards that everyone stamping with me at my monthly classes this month will be making!  I hear so often that everyone likes guy cards!  And I try to provide at least one guy card each month for them to make.

Some MORE cards using Flowering Foils DSP!

I cut apart a 12x12 sheet of the Flowering Foils DSP!  Even the flowers along the edges look awesome when fussy cut out with your scissors, colored & put onto a card!

Check out all of these pretty cards using various flowers!

I used the same layouts, but they have different flowers on them.  All of these flowers were ones that I cut from around the outside edge of the DSP.  So depending on where the edge was- that made my decision on where I was going to put the flower on the card. 

Check out these flowers that I put along the inside edge!  I really like how this looks!  And adding some Champagne rhinestones too- just makes the card more dressy & elegant!

Check out these flowers that I put into the bottom corner of the card!!!  They too are gorgeous!! 

This single edged flower looks great here along the bottom edge/corner here too!!  

And this is the card that I posted yesterday with the 2 larger flowers.  Notice how I added 3 Champagne rhinestones to it!  Wow.....it just amazes me that a little bling like that can change the whole look & feel of the card.  I just love it!  I love all 4 of them!

I love how this card turned out!

 I also added the So Very Vellum to this card too!

How did I do it?

• I used Light Mint Macaron & Light Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends to color these flowers & leaves! 
• I then used my Paper Snips & fussy cut out around them! 

Check out how the embossed foil on the DSP shines!  

This was just so easy to do!  

NOTE:  I lined up these flowers along the outside right edge of the card, as this was the edge of the DSP.  That way I wasn't wasting any of it.  And I think it looks fine on the finished card & you probably didn't even notice that I did it that way did you?

Dressed to Impress

You should check out this 'Dressed to Impress' stamp set on page 56 in the Mini Catalog!! It is so cute & fun!!  

Here is a fun girl card!!  It is black & white with a splash of color added to it!

This is one of the cards that everyone made at my stamp class yesterday with me.  If you look closely you can see that I used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing folder. 

I used the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Paper to make the fun curtain fold.  This DSP is one of the Sale-a-bration choices that you can get for FREE with a $50 order.

How did I do it?  Here are the measurements.

• 6x3"- dsp
• score at- 2 3/4", 3 1/4", 4 1/4" & 4 3/4"
• cut at a diagonal from the first score line (2 3/4"), leaving approximately 1"along the top edge.
• then fold on the scored lines to make your pleat! 
• use a glue dot to hold the pleats down
• add tear & tape along the entire back edge
• adhere to the card front

I added some Wink of Stella over my shoes to make them sparkle!  

Did you notice the polka dots on the ribbon?  I just used the polka dot stamp & my Memento ink & stamped directly onto the ribbon!!  This ribbon is awesome!  You can also color it with a sponge dauber & ink pad or you can color it with a Stampin' Blend.

Flowering Foils DSP!

Here is another stepped up version of a card that I posted a few days ago.  You can CLICK HERE TO SEE THAT CARD!

On this card I am sharing some sneak peeks using a couple of 2nd Release Sale-a-bration products that will be available on 3/3/2020!

So the words & the flower image for this card are from the stamp set- 'Tags' in Bloom'.  And the DSP is from the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP.  

This Flowering Foils Specialty DSP has both copper & silver foil in it!  It is just really pretty in person!  I love how it looks with the Smoky Slate card stock.  But I think by adding it to this Thick Whisper White card stock just makes it pop & look more elegant.  It just amazes me how it can look so differently just by adding another layer of card stock.  WOW!
