Yesterday was a busy day with boys!  Masen was here late last night.  We read lots of books & played lots of farm stuff- keeping him occupied.  When he left last night I did a few things & hit the hay.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & then head to a meeting.  I'm off to go pick up the boys.  I'll take the twins to pre-school & run some errands in town, before the little 2 boys & I head back out to our house for the day!

Tonight is my farmer night after the boys go home!

I enjoyed having Brayden was here for the afternoon with me yesterday!  Nathan & Sarah took Masen to the dr again, as he still has his strep throat.  He got a different medicine, so hope he feels better soon.  He was here for a little bit too yesterday afternoon.  When they went home I headed outside to help Deke on the farm with the pigs for the evening. When I got in last night, I worked on placing orders from my stampin' parties I had this past weekend & connecting with my hostesses!  

This morning I'm off to pickup my boys & am looking forward to spending my day with them!  They will all be here, except for Brayden.  Tonight Masen will be hanging out with G'ma late, as Nathan has a ball game to referee, Sarah has a meeting & Deke has a meeting too.

I left early yesterday morning & headed off to Hiawatha!  It was a great day of stamping with everyone that joined me!!  Thankfully the weather didn't end up getting bad until later in the evening!  It started sprinkling/raining on me when I was about 20 miles from home.  Luckily it was later when it froze & turned to ice.  

Our school was delayed for 2 hours this morning & they ended up cancelling it.  We have ice!   Luckily it is only on the sidewalks & roads...the power lines are fine!  It is still raining out now.  I don't know if I'll end up having Brayden & Masen yet or not today!  The other boys will stay home with their mom.  

Deke was off early this morning to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  He had a hard time deciding which way to get to town, as the gravel roads are super slick where they don't have much rock on them too!  Thankfully he made it there, it just took him quite a big longer.  He'll be gone all day today, as they are having department budget reviews all afternoon today, after their morning meeting.  

So I'll be spending my day catching up on things around here.  I have orders, emails, boxes of stamp stuff to put away, etc.  I also have lots of stamping to do for my upcoming workshop I have this coming weekend.  AND I have lots of creating of projects to do & cut for my upcoming Iowa Inkers Team meeting too!  So I'm hoping I get alot done.

Yesterday was a busy day!  Wow- I so enjoyed stamping with a house full of friends yesterday morning.  We all had a great time together!
 

Then yesterday afternoon, Susie's Hair Hut was open for business & I finally got Nathan's hair cut.  Then I changed hats again & was a farmer for the rest of the afternoon helping Deke outside with sorting & moving pigs.

 

Last night I cleaned up from classes & repacked everything!  I'm off to load my car & leave soon.  This morning I'm headed out to to stamp with everyone in my Hiawatha group today!  I have 2 classes- one this morning & one this afternoon.  Ruth & Nancy are my hostesses today!  We have several joining us!  I'm excited to share all of my cute cards with them & I can't wait to see everyone.

 

We are suppose to have a winter storm tonight with freezing rain......so I'm starting my classes today, 1 hour earlier than normal- so I can hopefully be on the road & back home before the ice gets here.

Watercoloring plus 'Dragonfly Dreams'!!

Check out this watercolor wash technique done with our new Watercolor Pencils & an aqua painter.

This technique was one that Shelli Gardner demonstrated for us when I attended the Stampin' Up! On Stage event in Madison, Wisconsin in November!  Isn't it pretty!

I want to give a big shout out to my awesome helper- my husband Deke!!  This week has been crazy with sick kids, pigs, etc.  And while watching the Iowa Hawkeye's win the basketball on Thursday night he cut all of these dragonflies for me!!  Plus he did quite a bit of the other Big Shot things for me too.   Those of you that attend my classes here me tell you how much I appreciate him.  But I don't think those of you that just read my blog know this.  I help him on the farm & he helps me cutting things with the Big Shot!  And I am so thankful he helps me!

Last night was a fun night of stamping with everything that joined me!  

I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock after everyone left.  

This morning I"m up early & setting up more tables & chair, moving furniture, baking cookie bars & finishing up a few more things before everyone joins me to stamp this morning too!

This afternoon Susie's Hair Hut is open for business, as Nathan needs a hair cut sooo bad.  Then I'm a farmer the rest of the afternoon helping Deke sort & move pigs!

Tonight I'll be cleaning up from the past 2 classes here.  And getting everything packed up & ready to head out early in the morning tomorrow- as I have 2 stamp class again tomorrow too!

Sale-a-bration 'Avant Garden' with 'Delicate Details'!

Wow......I LOVE the way this card turned out!  It is just very stunning in person!  This is totally a "Susie card".  And if you know me- you know whenever I use this Wisteria Wonder color & green together, it reminds me of my dear grandma!!! 

I shadow stamped this flower.....which means I inked it up, stamped it onto the Whisper White card stock, barely lifted it & moved it slightly & stamped it again!  I then stamped the flower stamen in the flower center using the Black Memento pad. And the stem of the flower is stamped in Wild Wasabi.

This is also a fun fold card!  Check it out when it is opened up!  CUTE huh!  

I did some cards last fall with a fold similar to this one, but they were going the other direction.  (horizontal, not vertical)

Yesterday was a busy day with all of the boys.  When they left last night I worked on stamping stuff all night!

Today is going to be a crazy day........This morning Deke is off early to chore.  And I'm off early to go get Brody.  I'll bring him back to our home, get his breakfast ready & leave him here with Deke to take him to school.  Deke will then go to the courthouse for awhile & then he'll be heading to Mt. Pleasant for a meeting that he has there today.  I'm going to go with Manda to take Drake to Bloomfield to see his doctor & he has an early appointment.  He is still sick and we've just got to get him better.  He is super bummed that he is gonna miss pre-school again. 

Tonight is my farmer night helping Deke with the hogs!  Thankfully it isn't going to be super cold out for a change!  We'll see what time I get in.  I need to cut card stock- so I hope I get to work on that too tonight.  Plus I still have our Christmas tree up & it needs to come down......so I have room to set up tables & chairs for stamp classes that will be here this weekend.

Yesterday was a long day!!  I was beat last night when the boys went home.  Brayden & Masen were here late, as Nathan referred a game & Sarah had a late meeting.  We had fun though playing games & doing things together.  I worked on stamping stuff  after they left for awhile. 

This morning I'm off early to go pick up Brayden & then head to the Seeley's.  I'll get him his breakfast & then take him to school.  Then I'll head home & spend my day with the 4 other boys here.

Jeannie was a great hostess yesterday!  We all had a great day of stamping together!!  What a way to kick off the New Year with new stamp sets & accessories from the Occasions & Sale-a-bration Catalogs!

Last night I was beat when I got home.  I unloaded the car, made soup & sandwiches for supper, replied to emails & fell asleep on the couch.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to go pick up all of my boys.  I'll feed the 3 bigger ones & take them to school.  Then the 2 little boys & I will head back out to our home for the day.  Brayden & Masen will be here late tonight, as Nathan is referring a ball game & Sarah has a late meeting.  I'm looking forward to catching up with Brayden as I haven't seen him since last Sunday, other then for the 45 mins this morning that we were eating breakfast & getting ready for school.

More hearts!!

Here is another cute heart card.  I used the 'Happy Valentine's Day' words on it from the 'Sealed with Love' stamp set.

If you look closely at the Red Circle layer- I used the new Stitched Framelit for that.

The hearts were all cut out with the Love Note Framelits Dies.

And this new Sending Love Designer Paper (6x6) Stack is very cool! I love all of the different patterns in it.  The whole stack is red & white....with awesome prints in it!

Another Ballon card!

I love these colors together!  This designer paper is really pretty!!  The first time I looked at it in the Occasions Catalog, I can honestly say that it wasn't one of the things that I had to have.  Then I saw it in person & I just knew I had to have it!  The color combinations in the whole package, along with the prints, are awesome!

Yesterday was a busy day running errands.  Trey & I didn't get home until 1:00, so had to eat a late lunch.  When he was gone last night, I burnt the midnight oil working on figuring out the rest of my card projects for this months stamp classes!

Today I don't plan to leave the house other than feed my outside animals & go to the mail box.  I will be a stamping fool!!  And I'm praying I have good mojo & that my ideas just click like I want them to.

I didn't do much yesterday.  I felt better, but still not the best.  That darn flu is totally wicked!!  I didn't have any boys.  We are all just passing it around, as Sarah has it now.

Dick had a pretty good day yesterday.  Maybe things are on the uphill side for him.  

This morning I'm off to pick up the boys.  The twins have school & Trey will spend his day with Grandma.  We'll run LOTS of errands this morning & then head home for the rest of the day.  

Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping!!  I hope I have good mojo!  There are sooo many new products in the Occasions & Sale-a-bration catalogs that I'm having a hard time trying to narrow it down to which ones I'm using for my monthly classes.

Here is a clean & simple card with hearts!  I chose to use 'Happy Valentines Day' wording on it, but this card could be a wedding, anniversary, birthday or get well card too!

OH yesterday was a rotten day!!  Nathan & I both got the flu from Drake, Steve & Masen.  Thankfully I only had Masen & Trey here for the day...and they were both gone by 4:30.  I can't remember having the stomach flu that bad for years.  It was terribly wicked!  I am praying now that the other boys don't end up getting it, plus Deke & Manda- don't end up getting it.

Last night Deke ended up having to sell hogs & move them by himself, since I was sick.  I felt terrible about that too, but there was no way I could go out & help him.  

Dick had an ok day yesterday....he had a couple more bad spells.  Not sure whether it is his brain bleeding or a stroke.  My heart breaks for him, my mom & all of our family.  It is just so sad to see him in so much pain.  I honestly don't think he'll ever get to leave the hospital.  They haven't even started to do anything with is dislocated shoulder- that is also broken in 2 spots, since he can't make it through a surgery.  Please keep Dick in your prayers!

I did nothing last night!  I was just too sick.  I feel better today......but not good.  My stomach is very sore, I ache everywhere & have a terrible headache.  I'm not sure what today will bring....we'll play it by ear.
