Today is another busy day on the go with the boys.  I'm off this morning to pick up Brayden & Masen.  And then we'll go to the Seeley home.  I'll get them all ready for school, their breakfast & take the 3 big boys to school & bring the 2 little ones home with me.
I'm hoping to get in to the dr today......I've been fighting this crud for 2 weeks now & I am sick & miserable.

Deke is off early to chore & he'll spend the morning in the office.

Tonight is up in the air.....we'll see how I feel.  I need to make noodles & things for our Thanksgiving Dinner at my sisters.  If I don't feel better though, I'll be staying home all day on Thursday.

Gotta run.....I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

  • I used a corner rounder to round the 2 inside flap edges.
  • I then like & sealed the left side.
  • I left the right side open so that you can slide a gift card (or money) into it.

Yesterday I took the twins to school & Trey & I ran errands.  Deke stayed home with Trey after lunch for a little bit, before he went out to grind feed & work on the farm, so that I could run to the bank.  Masen was here in the afternoon for awhile with us & after school all of the boys were here.  When they went home last night I worked on farm & SU! bookwork.

I am still fighting a terrible sore throat & cough.  My head just feels like it could explode.  I'm hoping we are all better soon.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & then he has an eye dr appointment.  I'm off early to go to Nathan & Sarah's to stay with their boys.  We'll then head to Manda's to pick up their boys.  I'll take Brayden to school & the rest of us will spend the day out our home.

Tonight after the boys go home I'm a farmer helping Deke with the pigs!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday I spent my day with Trey.  When he went home I spent my night cutting card stock.  Deke helped me do some of the Big Shot stuff after he got in from the farm.

Today is my Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack class at our home!  I am looking forward to getting to visit & stamp with everyone joining me!  I've been a busy bee this week getting things done for today's class.

I'm off to finish getting everything set up, food made & all done.....as Masen will be here to spend the day with all of us today too- so I need to get alot accomplished before anyone walks in our door.

Tonight we are all going out to one of our favorite places for supper, to have prime-rib & celebrate Nathan & Sarah's 1st Anniversary!  A year ago when they got married we had quite a bit of snow!  The roads were slick & it was nasty out!   The weather sure has been nice for this fall.....but the temps sure did drop a ton throughout the day yesterday.  I guess winter is getting closer, cut I'm sure not ready for that.

Gotta run.....lots to do....
I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!!

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys.  Ben came & finished sealing our brick on our home!  So now to get Macenzy back to finish up everything else that he needs to get done.  I can't wait until it is all finished!

Last night when the boys left I was a farmer again & worked on the farm helping Deke sell hogs.  We didn't get much sleep on Tuesday night since we sold hogs in the middle of the night- so when we got in I made supper, took a shower & called it a night after I answered emails & got the toys all picked up!  I needed to be cutting card stock......but will burn the midnight oil the next 2 nights working on that.

Our family is so sad....

We lost Deke's big brother Dan.  He was an awesome man!!  Our hearts are heavy!  He will be greatly missed by so many people that he has touched over the years.  OH how I love his smile here in this photo of him.  He was such an intelligent & funny man.  We treasure the times we spent with him over the years.

Please keep Dan's family- especially his wife Sheryl & children- Stephanie, Michelle, John, son-in-law Chris & granddaughter Katie in your prayers!

Obituary for John Daniel Wood
John Daniel “Dan” Wood of Flemington, NJ, died Sunday November 13, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Sheryl L. (nee Jemison) and devoted father to Stephanie, Michelle, and John and father-in-law to Christopher Polley. He was an adoring Papa to Katharine Polley. Dan was the dear son of Martin Daniel Wood Jr. (deceased) and Elizabeth Ann Axmear (nee Baylor) and step son to David Axmear. He is also survived by an abundance of loving family members: his siblings Douglas Wood, David Allen Wood and wife Pam, Daryl Wood and wife Susan, and Darci Axmear and partner Maria Cashman, and his Aunt Joanne Bair and husband Larry Bair, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Dan was predeceased by his brother, Daryn Axmear.

Dan was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa on September 5, 1957. His career as an Intellectual Property Attorney took him many places in his life, but Iowa was always home in his heart. Dan grew up in the Sigourney-What Cheer area and was a proud Hawkeye through and through, graduating from the University of Iowa School of Law in 1982. Dan loved watching Big Ten Football, reading historical novels, rescuing Labrador retrievers, and engaging in lively debate with his family and friends. Dan always appreciated the opportunities he had to combine his love of chemistry and learning with his great regard for the law.

A private memorial will be held in Iowa in the spring. In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make a contribution to an organization that was dear to Dan’s heart: The Lost Bridge Great Banquet, 655 S. Airport Road, Decatur, IL 62521. Or consider making a donation to Philabundance, 3616 S. Galloway Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of John Daniel Wood, please visit our Tribute Store.

Thank you!!

Check out my fall Banner Wreath!

Check out my fall wreath!  I used the 'Paisleys & Petals' stamp set & coordinating Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Paper, along with the Gold Foil & Copper Foil Sheets!

stamp set:  'Paisleys & Petals'
card stock:  Cajun Craze, Soft Suede & Very Vanilla
designer paper:  Petals & Paisley's Specialty DSP
ink:  Cajun Crazy
other:  Banner Triple Punch, Dimensionals, Kraft Rope Trim, Dimensionals
How did I do that?

I used a 12" Chipboard wreath that I purchased at a craft store.

I cut 26-27 12 x 1 1/2" DSP strips.  You can flag each end with the banner triple punch before or after you put them around the wreath.  I found that if you wrap them around the wreath & then punch both ends together they match perfectly!

1. Wrap DSP strip around wreath.
2. Using Banner Triple Punch- flag both ends by punch them at the same time.
3.  Stick together/using Multipurpose Glue to hold bottom 1" - 1 1/2" together on the flagged ends.
4.  I put all strips on as you over lap them just a tiny bit.
5.  Once I had them almost all on I went back through & spaced them evenly & put a tiny drop of Multipurpose Glue underneath the edge of each flagged banner to stick it to the one next to it.
(You could also maybe just put a little glue dot underneath them too by putting the glue dot on the end of your paper piercing tool or something to slide it underneath.)

I also made a Halloween Wreath that is similar to my fall one.

You can read about it BY CLICKING HERE!

Yesterday was a busy day with work & boys!  It was about 7:30 last night when the boys were all gone.  I then burnt the midnight oil placing orders & connecting with my hostesses from the past few days of stampin' parties that I had done.

Deke is off early this morning to chore & head to another meeting.  I'm off to go pick up the boys for the day.  Tonight when they leave I'll be a farmer, working outside with Deke.  We sell 2 loads of hogs tonight.  The first semi won't be here until about midnight- so it is going to be a late night & a short night of sleep for us.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!
