Stampin' Up! 'Party Wishes'

Here is a cute birthday card using the set- 'Party Wishes'.  Check out the cool Expressions Natural Elements- the wood word that says Celebrate!  I colored it with my Clear Wink Of Stella Pen to add some sparkle!!!  

The new Confetti Textured Embossing Folder is another cool new accessory too.  Here I stamped the cake,  fussy cut it out with my paper snips & then ran it through the Confetti Textured Embossing Folder too!  I also added the Clear Wink Of Stella to some of the swirl images on the cake & the white embossed card front to add some more sparkle!

Yesterday was a long day!  It was about 7:30 when I got in from the farm.....and I went right to town to pick up the boys from Manda & Steve's home.  We we got home we finished Brayden's Valentines, did his math homework, worked on his spelling words & figured out what he was eating for breakfast & lunch tomorrow.   When I got Masen fed & the boys to bed I picked up toys, did dishes, laundry, answered emails, etc. 

Deke moved pigs last night by himself & he didn't get in until about 10:30.  Oh how I love making supper so late.  And I burnt the midnight oil getting things done & ready for stamp classes.  

We are up early this morning to get Brayden fed & ready for school.  We'll then go pick up the Seeley boys, take Brayden to school & head back out to our home for the day.  

Deke is hopefully going to be in tonight by 6 for supper & then he'll watch the boys for me.  As tonight is my monthly stampin' night at our home & I have a house full joining me to stamp!  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

When the boys all went home last night, Susie's Hair Hut was open & I got Deke's hair cut.....so I've have been busy this week with giving 3 of our guys hair cuts.  Next on my schedule is to get Steve's done- but not this week.

I then burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock.  

This morning I'm off to go pick up all of my boys for the day.  Tonight I'm a farmer helping Deke with the pigs.  It will be a late night!!!

Nathan & Sarah are gone for a few days, so their 2 boys are staying with us the rest of the week.  Thankfully Manda & Steve took Brayden & Masen home with them & we'll go get them as soon as we can tonight so we can get them home & to bed.

A great guy card using 'Going Global'!

This is another sneak peek at one of the cards everyone joining me for my monthly classes this week will be making!  Isn't it a great guy card!  I love theses colors & this stamp set is very cool.

Here is a close up of the earth stamp image.  I stamped it onto the Lost Lagoon card stock using the Archival Basic Black ink pad.  And then I added the little hearts in the corner.

I had a busy day with my boys yesterday!!  When they left last night I picked up toys, made supper (late as Deke worked late on the farm) & I then spent my night burning the midnight oil cutting card stock.

This morning I'm off early again to pick everyone up for the day.  Deke is off early to chore & he'll be heading to Mt. Pleasant for an all day meeting.  I am hoping to make it to mass tonight for Ash Wednesday services if the boys are all gone in time for me to be able to get there.  Then later I'll be cutting more card stock- getting ready for the 4 stamp classes I have yet this week.

The boys & I ran errands yesterday morning.  It was snowing & cold.....but glad we got them done.  Susie's Hair Hut was open for business last night & Brayden finally got a much needed hair cut!  When he left I worked on Stampin' Up! stuff. 

I'm off early this morning to pick up all of my boys!  Tonight Susie's Hair Hut will be open for business again, as Nathan needs a hair cut.  (And so does Deke, but he might have to wait another week to get his done, as I have lots to get done yet this week.)  When everyone has all gone home I plan to spend my night burning the midnight oil cutting card stock.

I had full day yesterday!  And enjoyed stamping with everyone that joined us.  Sherryl had a great party!

I did get to stop & visit my friend Judy on my way home.  I was so happy to get to see her!  I treasure our times together.  

When I got home Deke & I made homemade pizza & watched the Super Bowl game....I didn't see much of it though, as I fell asleep on the couch (which I rarely ever do).  I was beat!

This morning I'm off to pick up my boys for the day.  Deke was off early this morning to chore.  He has a meeting this morning & one tonight too.  Brayden will be here after school- so we are looking forward to seeing him.  When the boys go home tonight & I'm home alone I'll be burning the midnight oil cutting card stock for my upcoming stamp classes I have this week.

I've just gotta share a photo of my little crafter!  This is Brody.  He loves to stamp!!  He is punching out hearts for Valentines!  A little man after G'ma's own heart! 

Last night we went to Mrs. Sieren's visitation & saw lots of people that we hadn't seen for many years.  The line was huge.  We are glad we went.  The highlight of my night was seeing another teacher of mine- Mr. Freeze!  He hugged me so tight.  I hadn't seen him in years!  He was my High School History teacher.  A great man!  And I'm so happy I got to see him & his wife Marilyn.  When we got home I made 2 salads & got stuff ready to whip up a couple pans of bar cookies in the morning.....and then will run them to town for Mrs. Sieren's funeral dinner.  

I plan to be a stamping machine all day/night today!!  I hope I have good mojo!

Oh wow!  I love this card!!  

This is one of the cards I created earlier this week for my upcoming February monthly classes!  Isn't it just stunning!!  And usually I don't give sneak peeks this early in the month showing class cards, but I just had to share this one with all of you!!  There is just alot of cool things about this card that I totally love!!

other:  Scoring Tool, Bow Builder Punch, Owl Punch (for the small circle in the center of my bow here), Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Clear Wink Of Stella Pen

Photographs are sooo hard to actually be able to see the little things here.....but if you look real close here you can see these cool things:

• I used the Clear Wink of Stella on the flowers to make them sparkle! 
• I used the Hardwood background stamp over the top of the flowers & rubbed real lightly, using Crumb Cake ink.  Honestly- I wish I had pushed a little harder & made it a little darker....but you can still see it (especially on the card in person).
• Did you notice the fun pleated fold I did here too?  This is a technique that I learned awhile back that my stampin' sister Lyssa shared!  It too just added a little fun focal point to the card.
• And of course I can't forget to mention the adorable little bow!  This Bow Builder Punch is a favorite of mine & I don't use it often enough.  But it sure does add just that little "extra wow" to a card doesn't it!

My day started earlier than normal yesterday & ended later than normal.  Manda took all 5 boys home with her after she got off work, as Nathan was referring & Sarah had a meeting last night after she got off of work.  I then headed outside to help Deke on the farm all evening with the piggies!  It was so COLD....that wind was really wicked.  It was late when we got in & we were both beat.  I had hoped to get another card created for my February monthly classes, but I ran out of steam by the time I got my shower taken, supper made, dishes done, toys picked up, etc.

I'm off early this morning to pick up all of my boys again for the day.  Deke is home to work on the farm this morning & then he has another meeting this afternoon.  Tonight when the boys all go home we'll run to town to church for a visitation of a friends mom.  Mary was also my 5th grade math teacher & she attended our church.  She was a great lady- a one of a kind.  When we get home from there I'll be making a pan of cookie bars & a macaroni salad to take into the church in the morning for Mary's funeral dinner, as it's my rotation to be on the funeral committee.  I'll then burn the midnight oil stamping & creating cards for my monthly February classes!  I pray that I have good mojo & get alot done.

Yesterday was a long day that started early with the boys.  I try to do some pre-school activities with the twins a few times each week.  Lately I've been working with teaching them about weather.  Last week we worked with thermometers & marked the different temperatures we had outside, cut out snowflakes, did icicles & things that were cold!  Yesterday they colored a sheet that had different images on it (clouds, sunshine, rain, snow, etc.) that were in triangles & then they cut out the circle.  We made a spinner & attached it to the center of the circle with a brad & then they were suppose to point to what the weather is outside.  I was impressed!  They did really good!!  I think they are getting it!  It was cute when they got up from their naps & had to change their pointer from cloudy to the sunshine.  

Last night after the boys all left I ran to Osky to deposit our hog check & pick up a few groceries.  Deke had another late meeting to go to for a conference board.  When I got home I did a little stamping before calling it a night.

This morning Nathan has another early meeting, so he will be bringing Masen out early on his way.  I'll then go pick up the other boys at the normal time.  

Tonight when the boys all leave I'll be headed out the door to be a farmer & help Deke mark, sort & load hogs.  It will be a late night when we get in.  At least the weather will be cold, but not

Deke is off this morning to chore & head to the office.  I'm off to pick up the boys early.  When they leave tonight I'll be spending my nigh a stamping away again!
