It was later when the boys went home last night.  I made supper & then Deke helped me move furniture around in the spare bedroom.  Masen is now an "all over mover", so we had to get the 2nd crib up.  I wasn't sure where I was going to find room to put it- so kept putting it off.  We got it all done & everything all put back.  Now both little ones will be in cribs in separate rooms for their naps today.

I'm off this morning to pick ups the boys for the day.  Deke is off to chore & head to Ottumwa to a meeting for the day.  When the boys all leave tonight I'll be headed out the door to work on the farm all night.  Tonight is my farmer night helping Deke.  We will be selling hogs.

I hope you have a very great Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

Check out this card!  Remember the rose card that I posted yesterday?  Check it out HERE!!

I think it is very elegant & modern!  It too is a very stunning card.  What do you think of it?

card stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Cucumber Crush
ink:  Basic Black Archival
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Precision Plate, Rose Garden Thinlit, Extra Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, Big Shot Die Brush

This morning Deke is off early to chore & then has 2 meetings this morning.  I'm off to pick up my boys for the day.  Brayden & Masen will be here tonight for awhile, as Sarah works late & Nathan has another game to referee.  When they leave I hope to get to do some stamping.

This weeks "WEEKLY DEALS"- January 26- February 1, 2016!

A beautiful purple Rose!

Here is a beautiful purple rose.  This is the card that I made for my dear friend Judy's birthday!!  Purple is her favorite color.....and so I created this especially for her.
stamp set:  'Rose Wonder'
card stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Cucumber Crush
ink:  Basic Black Archival
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Precision Plate, Rose Garden Thinlit, Extra Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Wink Of Stella Glitter Pen, Big Shot Die Brush,  2 Way Glue Pen

I made a card similar to this for my January monthly classes.  You can see that card HERE!

Don't you just love how the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen looks on the rose?  It is just stunning in person.  I hope that Judy loved it!  I'm sure she wasn't surprised that I made her a purple birthday card though.

I did a paper piercing technique on this card.  I used Glad Press & Seal to hold all of my pieces that I cut out with the thinlit so that I could tell exactly where they were to belong.  I made a similar card that was red like this for my team meeting that I had last Saturday, so I'll share that card & more information on how I did the paper piercing then.

+++++
Last night when the boys all went home I spent my night stamping!

This morning I'm headed out to pick up all of the boys & spend our day together.  Tonight when they all go home, I'll probably be a stamping away again, as I have tons I need to get done!  But depending on what time the boys leave & what time Deke gets done working on the farm, we might run to Osky to get groceries too......we'll see how our day goes & go from there.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

We worked late on the farm last night.  At least it was warmer than it had been the past 2 weeks.  Brayden had fun with us.  I think he won the award for being the dirtiest!  When we finally got in the house we had showers, supper, dishes, picking up toys & then I finally got to stamp!  I burnt the midnight oil working on my some shoe box swaps for my upcoming team meeting.

This morning I'm off to pick up my boys for the day.  Deke is home to work on the farm all day.  It is gonna be a little warmer out, so he is going to be cleaning off outside lots & Ben is going to be hauling in corn all day.

Tonight Nathan is referring another basketball game.  It is in Keota, so Sarah, Deke & Masen will go to the game, as my niece- Ginny is playing.  I'll be home alone & I'll be burning the midnight oil working on swaps & shoe box swaps for my team meeting that is here at our home tomorrow.  I pray I have good mojo!  I have lots of creating that I hope to get accomplished.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!

Last night Deke worked late on the farm.  And after the boys left I spent my night stamping.

More 'Sky is the Limit!

Here is another clean & simple card I created using the Sale-a-bration set- 'Sky is the Limit'!  Oh....I so wish this set wasn't limited time only!  I'm glad I have it & I plan to use it alot between now & then.  It is only available until February 15, 2016!  It is just perfect for guy cards!
When I was making this card last night I was watching the movie Pearl Harbor.   Talk about a good show.  I don't know how many times I've seen it, but every time I watch it I see something new that I've missed before.  It just so touches my heart to think back at this time in our history!

stamp set:   ''Sky is the Limit'
card stock:  Marina Mist, Whisper White, Vellum
ink:  Marina Mist
other:  Big Shot, World Traveler Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Paper Piercing Mat, Paper Piercing Tool, 3/4" Circle Punch, Paper Snips, Glue Dots

Nathan referred again last night so Masen was here late.  When he went home G'ma spent the night finalizing orders & doing some stamping!  I needed to create some cards for my upcoming blog post.  And then I have an 'Iowa Inkers'  team meeting here at our house on Saturday- so I have lots I need to get done this week!  So I burnt the midnight oil again.

Deke is off to work at the courthouse today.  And I'm off to pick up all of my boys.  I think I'm home again tonight & plan to stamp & get LOTS done hopefully!!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

Playing Ninja Turtles!

Trying to stay creative on these cold winter days!!  So we are playing Ninja Turtles here!

This weeks- "WEEKLY DEALS"- January 19-25, 2016!

'Sky is the Limit'......what a great Sale-a-bration stamp set!

Look at this cool airplane card!  And make sure you notice the propeller on it!

This card is one that everyone joining me to stamp at my monthly classes last week got to make.

Check out the clouds.....aren't they cool!  I used the 2 3/8" Circle Punch, Sponge & Soft Sky ink pad to make them!

This is a fun fold card, called a 'z' fold.

And did you notice the cool new world embossing folder?  It is called World Traveler.  And I love it!
This is what my card looks like when it is opened up.  I attached the airplane rectangle piece with dimensionals & put it on at a diagonal, so that the words in the bottom corner showed.

Don't you like the black tab along the side?  I made it with the Note Tag Punch, folded it over & then put little mini brads in it.

stamp set:  'Sky Is the Limit'- Sale-a-bration- LIMITED TIME ONLY UNTIL 2/15!
card stock:  Vellum, Soft Sky, Whisper White, Basic Black & Crumb Cake
ink:  Soft Sky, Archival Basic Black
other:  Big Shot, World Traveler Embossing Folder, 3/4" Circle Punch, Mini Brads, Dimensionals, Paper Piercing Mat, Paper Piercing Tool, Note Tag Punch, Stampin' Sponges, 2 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch
+++++
I enjoyed my day with the boys yesterday.  We read alot of books, did some fun winter worksheets, played Ninja Turtles, etc.

Last night I burnt the midnight oil working on stamping stuff!

This morning I'm off earlier than normal this morning to pick up Masen & Brayden.  We'll then go pick up the other 3 boys, take Brayden to school & head out to our home.

Tonight after the boys leave, I hope to be home to work on catching up on things that I got behind on last week, since I spent most every spare minute I had lcutting card stock & getting ready for all of my monthly classes.

Oh my......our darn Iowa winter weather!  It now has some snow in the forecast for us.  We'll see what that all turns out amounting too I guess in the next 24 hours or so.   I hope the forecasters are wrong!

Wishing you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!
