Layers Of Beauty Triple Stamping/Spotlighting Card

Here are some pretty rose cards doing the 

Triple Stamping Technique/Spotlighting Technique.

Didn't they turn out neat! 

I just love them! 

 

If you are joining me for one of my 

April monthly stamp classes- you will get to make one of these cards!

 

How did I do it?

 

#1.

You need 3 different sizes of Basic White CS.

4 x 5 1/4"

3 x 4 1/4"

2 x 3 1/4" 

#2.

Using temporary use adhesive & lightly put the 3 pieces together as shown here. 

They are layered evenly around all 4 edges. 

#3.

Put the temporary layered pieces into the Stamp Positioner Tool as shown. 

NOTE where the magnets are so that they hold the card stock down, 

yet are out of the way for the stamp. 

#4.

Add Memento ink onto the stamp that is attached to the top platform.

 

#5.

Put the top platform back onto the Stamp Positioner & PRESS DOWN & RUB 

the stamp so that the ink transfers onto the 3 layers of Basic White card stock. 

#6.

Remove the top platform & you'll now have this image.

#7.

Now carefully separate the 3 layers of Basic White card stock as shown. 

You will have all 3 pieces of card stock separated. 

Notice how the ink is randomly on all 3 card stock pieces. 

#8.

You'll now adhere the Basic White stamped pieces onto the Petunia Pop card stock layers. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  It might be easier for you to color the spotlighted rose/leaves NOW 

before you adhere them onto the Petunia Pop layer. 

#9.

Once you adhere each of them they will look like this.  

#10.

Now you will permanently adhere the 3 layers on top of each other as shown in this photo.

 

Notice the 'spotlight' images shown in the photos below.  

Aren't these just so pretty!!!

I love the way they turned out.

• Petunia Pop- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" for card base

• Petunia Pop- 2 1/4 x 3 1/2"
• Petunia Pop- 3/8" strip- stamp words onto & diagonally cut ends with scissors 
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"
• Basic White- 3 x 4 1/4"
• Basic White- 2 x 3 1/4"
• Basic White- 3 3/4 x 5"- for inside of card
