Stenciled flowers

WOW!
Check out this awesome stenciled flower!!!

These stencils are from the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks-
#158142 (set of 6) Spring Mini pg. 65= $10.00

How did I do it?
You will be using Blending Brushes to add the ink- #153611= $12.00 (set of 3).
#1.  Start with this solid image stencil, using the lighter color of ink- Petal Pink.

This is what it looks like when you remove the stencil.
#2.  Use this stencil that has the thinner flower images in it, using the darker ink- Calypso Coral.
This is what it looks like when you remove the stencil.
#3.  Use the leaf stencils to go around the edge of the flowers.
I used Old Olive ink.
This is what it looks like when you have the leaves added!
Look at this- this is what you don't want to do.......
IMPORTANT- make sure that you use Post-it-Notes or coverings all around the
stencil image that you are sponging, so that you don't get ink on the card stock in
places that you don't want it to be on.
Isn't this just gorgeous!
It is clean, simple & elegant.

Honestly- I almost always put words on the front of my card.
The way I had the leaves stenciled here I didn't feel that I could add words
anywhere to balance everything out, so my card is word free on the outside.

Here are the supplies & measurements.
card stock:
  • Calypso Coral- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base
  • Vellum- 3 1/4 x 4 1/4"
  • Basic White- 3 x 4"- stencil flowers/leaves onto this
  • Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
designer paper:  You're A Peach- 1 x 4" (x2)

SUSIE
