Then home for Susie's Hair Hut to be open & they both got their hair cut.
We went racing last night & had terrible luck.
Nathan got a flat tire & shot into the wall hard- destroying the front of the car.
(hopefully the back isn't bent too)
Thankfully he is ok....but I'm sure he is going to be really sore today.

Today is Manda's last day of school.
The boys & I are headed to Keota to the locker this morning.
I'm finally going to be home tonight & will be spending the night working on stamping things!

I hope you have a great Thursday!
Happy Stamping!

A stained glass window card...

Good morning!

at my Spring STYC class.
This lattice die is now retired.
It is a favorite of mine & I'm going to miss it.
 'Love & Sympathy'
cs:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Vellum
ink:  Black Stazon
markers:  Marina Mist & So Saffron
supplies:  Big Shot, Square Framelit, Lattice Die, Xtra Large Oval punch, glue dots, dimensionals

Uncle Jerry, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Joe & Aunt Diane stopped to visit a few minutes, early last evening.
It was great to see them.
Brayden was here for awhile too- which is always a treat!
And then Deke & I had a late night on the farm selling hogs.

Today Deke will be in the office all morning.
We'll all go racing tonight to cheer on Nathan.
It is only $5.00 tonight to get in to the races, as it is Fan Appreciation night.

I hope the stands are packed.
So come join us at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa.
We sit up high in turn #1.

I'm hoping to get the twins hair cut today if they cooperate.
I'm bragging them with going to the races in exchange for the sitting
still to cut their hair- so hoping that works.

I'm off to get the boys now.....
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

We enjoyed our weekend but were on the go the whole time.

Nathan & Brayden were here for lunch, we chored & headed to all the cemeteries to leave flowers.
And then to Osky to the funeral home for Aunt Ivalene's visitation.
It was nice to visit with family all weekend!

We have another busy week here......

Deke has a meeting this morning.
And we sell hogs tonight- so I'll be a farmer helping him.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Happy Memorial Day!!

Good morning!!
Here is a card that I whipped up last night before I went to bed.
I'm sending blessings to all of our many Veteran's
as we honor them on their special day!!
May God Bless (each of) You!

ink:  Night of Navy
supplies:  Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (Star) NEW- June 1st,

Yesterday was another great day spent with family!
My day started out getting to have coffee, stamp & visit with my sister-in-law Sheryl.
We then went with the Seeley family (Manda, Steve & twins)
to my cousins daughter (Abbie's) graduation party,
where we saw & visited with many family members we don't see very often.

We didn't make it to the cemeteries yesterday- so will do that today.
I also need to get some flowers planted for my mother-in-law.
And we'll be attending the visitation of my great aunt Ivalene.
I am hoping to start my day off again enjoying coffee with my sister-in-law Sheryl too!
As we don't get to see each other very often-
so I treasure our time together when she is here in Iowa visiting.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS MEMORIAL DAY!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

Watercolor Drip Technique

Hello!
Here is a fun technique to do with watercolor paper & aqua painters.
My dear Stampin' Sister Lyssa gave me a swap at Leadership similar to this.
So here is my version that everyone got to make at my STYC last month.
Each time you do this -it comes out differently.
It is a messy technique, but a fun one.
 'Four You' & 'Polka-Dot Pieces'
cs:  Watercolor Paper, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight & Very Vanilla
ink:  Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight & Pool Party
supplies:  Daffodil Delight ribbon, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Basic Pearls, dimensionals, glue dots, 1 3/4" Scalloped Circle Punch, aqua painters

Yesterday we were gone pretty much all day.
Then last night we took everything up to Deke's parents & made them lettuce & dumplings for supper.
This is an Axmear/Wood family recipe.
We enjoyed visiting with Deke's parents & our sister-in-law Sheryl too!

I am looking forward to Sheryl coming down to visit & have coffee with me this morning.
This afternoon we are planning to head to my cousin Teresa's home for their daughter Abbie's graduation party.
And sometime in between we will be making our cemetery run to give flowers to all of our loved ones.
Plus I'm hoping to squeeze in some stamping today too!

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

'Flower Shop' meets coordinating Pansy punch

Good morning!

Here is a fun card......and always love it when stamp sets coordinate with punches.
Isn't this a cool!
 'Flower Shop'
cs:  Whisper White & Melon Mambo
dp:  Gingham Garden
ink:  Melon Mambo
supplies: Pansy Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White Tafetta ribbon, dimensionals, Big Shot, Decorative Dots Embossing folder

Did you notice how I shadow stamped these 3 flowers?
The top one is the darkest & the bottom one is the lightest.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday!
The boys played outside for a couple of hours in the morning & I worked in the yard.
I pulled weeds, cleaned out our eve spouts on our house, etc.

Nathan didn't have too good of luck last night & got in a wreck during his heat.
They got the car fixed good enough to start the feature & he finished 6th.
Thankfully he wasn't hurt.

Last night I did bookwork for our farm, personal & Stampin' Up! accounts.
Plus got a few cards made & ready to mail out too- that I needed to get done.

Today Deke & I will get up early to get the chores done
& head to meet our banker for our yearly farm notes/business.
Then home.....to chore again & I think the guys are off to the races again.
I am staying home....I am finally caught up with our laundry & bookwork from being gone.
But I have mounds of stamp stuff that needs to be finished & put away.
I need to get all of that stuff caught up on- so I can gear up for my
New Catalog Open Houses that will be here before we know it.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!!
hugs!

An embossed resist technique......

Good morning!
Here is another embossed resist card that I sponged the color onto.
It was one everyone made at STYC last month.
It is a clean & simple card- but great isn't it!
A rainbow of colors added to this card just makes it pop doesn't it.
And how can you go wrong when you use black as an accent with it?
I will hopefully find time sometime soon to get caught up on supplies for cards that I have posted lately.

I think that maybe today is gonna be a quiet day.
I have my fingers crossed that it will be anyways.
The guys will go racing tonight.
I will be staying home (alone I think) & hoping to get caught up on alot of things.

IMPORTANT NEWS:
Brayden is a BIG brother!
Jacobi Ryan Hernandez born at 3:09pm yesterday afternoon!
7lbs 2oz and 20.25 inches long
I will post a picture of the 2 of them sometime soon.
Congratulations to Kimi & Mike & BIG brother Brayden!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!
