A Fall 'Lovely As A Tree' card!

Good morning!
Here is another one of the cards that everyone joining me at my September
workshops will be making.
I LOVE the set- 'Lovely As A Tree'!
It is an oldie but a goodie!
I will update this with the supply list sometime soon.
Don't you just love this card!
And check out the new Expression Thinlit!
Isn't it awesome!!

I still have some card stock to cut & things to pack up for my workshop today!
So keeping this short & off to get everything finished up so I can out the door soon.
I'm excited to be sharing my love of stamping with Michele & Karen & many of their friends today!
They have alot of ladies joining us!
I can't wait to stamp with all of them!

I spent the whole day stamping yesterday- 16 hours to be exact!
I got alot done.....my Founders swap is created & partially cut.
(I will post it later this week after our swap!)
Plus- I got my October birthday cards done & cards made to send out to those that ordered on line for Clearance Rack items.
AND I made 5 different cards all using the same set- 'Best of Autumn'.
I'll post these 5 cards on my blog this week!

Gotta run.......

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

Thankful for........

Good morning!
Here is a simple & quick card that I created with some scraps that were laying
on the counter in my stamp studio.
I just stamped the maple leaf into the Crumb Cake ink & then using a marker
traced some of the veins.
'Magnificent Maple' & 'Truly Grateful'
cs:  Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, Naturals Ivory
dp:  Sweater Weather
ink:  Crumb Cake & Chocolate Chip
marker:  Chocolate Chip
supplies:  Scissor Snips, Big Shot, Ovals Framelits

The twins & I had a fun day yesterday.
We ran errands in the morning & then spent 1 hour playing in the park.
They had a blast!
Then late yesterday afternoon Nathan & Brayden were here & I cut Nathan's hair
before they went to the football game.
I then spent the rest of my night in my studio creating & cutting part of my Founder's swap.
I totally didn't end up creating anything I had in mind originally for this swap.
But I really like what I ended up creating.
It is definitely a Susie card.
I ended up making a Christmas card & using the Holiday Catalog set- 'Santa's List'.
I will post it later next week while I'm at Founders.

So for today I plan on spending my whole day/night in my studio cutting card stock &
getting ready for my workshop.
As far as I know I am home alone all day!

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!

Here is a Halloween Treats class peak!

Good morning!
Here is a peak at one of the cards that I'll be doing at my upcoming
Halloween Treats class on 09/29/13!
Are you coming to stamp with me this afternoon?
This card is created with the the set-
'Best of Halloween'- #134381= $14.95.
I also used the new Circle Thinlit card die.
#133480= $32.95.

Cool huh!
This is a spinner card!
I think it is so cute!

The twins & I went with Deke yesterday to check out all of the farm goodies
for Duwa's upcoming sale.
I am not sure who liked all of things more- Papa or the twins?
I guess- "boys & their toys" is a good quote- no matter how old they are.
Duwa's is a big farm sale with everything & anything you can imagine from gates, to trailers, tractors, lawn mowers, feeders, combines, bins, etc....
I wish I had taken my camera to get pictures of how excited the twins were to see everything.
We walked down alot of the rows looking at stuff that Deke is hoping to bid on at the sale later today.
We then treated ourselves to lunch at Rose's & got to see my Aunt Virginia & nephew Jake.
We had a really nice time at Deke's Pathfinders Board picnic last night.
I got to meet lots of people that I only knew of by their name......
so it is now nice to have a face to go with that name!
And I also got to see some people that I haven't seen for a long time.
The supper was very yummy.....smoked pork.
And the cabin it was at was really a beautiful place.

We have a crazy new several days here.
I have no clue how everything is going to get done.
But somehow it will all work out.
I have to think positive.

Deke is gone again this morning to a meeting.
And then he is going to Duwa's farm equipment sale, hoping to get
some good buys for some things he needs for the pigs.

I hope you have a FANTASTIC Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

A beautiful Star/Quilt Card

Good morning!
Here is a beautiful card that my downline Judy Hopping created & mailed to me.
She CASED (copy and share everything) this card idea/layout (changing it a little)
from one of my demonstrator friends- France Martin (Frenchie).

It is very stunning card!
I've never done this quilt/star technique before.
I will have to try it sometime.
 'Sweet Essentials' & 'Flower Shop'
cs:  Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, Pistachio Pudding
dp:  Venetian Romance
ink:  Island Indigo, Soft Suede (for the center of the flower)
supplies:  Big Shot, Square Lattice embossing folder, Pansy (flower) punch, blender pens,
sponge dauber

Thanks for sharing Judy & Frenchie too!!!!

Nathan won his heat & got 4th in the main last night.
It was a close race with the top 5 cars.
He looked good.
It was a bummer that Deke had a meeting & couldn't be there, as he hardly ever misses a race.
They twins stayed over night with us since we got home so late.
Tonight Deke & I have a picnic for one the boards he serves on that he is chairman of.

I hope you have a wonderful day today!!
Happy Stamping!

Susie's upcoming 'Halloween Treats' class

Good morning!
Here is a quick post to give you a sneak peek of the projects that I've created for my
upcoming 'Halloween Treats' class.
This class is all about treats!
There are several different boxes, bags, a 5x7 framed project & 2 cards- plus we'll be making matching envelopes with the NEW Envelope Punch Board to go with the 2 cards.

I LOVE Halloween & decided that there were so many awesome Halloween products in the Holiday Catalog that I just had to do a separate class just for Halloween!

I'm EXCITED about these projects & I'm looking forward to sharing with
everyone at this fun "special" class!!

The twins had good reports at their 2 year check up yesterday.
Dr. Mary was thrilled with them!
How blessed we are!

I'm dreading tonight.....we sell hogs.
So I'm a farmer again tonight.
Thankfully Nathan & Josh are coming out to help us sort & load them.
I pray that it cools off & rains soon!

Wishing you a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Happy Stamping!

'Gently Falling' with the masking tape technique......

Good morning!
I'm running behind....I still have stuff to cut & pack up for my workshop today.
So I'm sharing one of the cards we'll be making.
The girls on Thursday night made this & all thought it was cool!
It is the masking tape technique.
Tomorrow I'll post & share more information about it!
These are my colors!!
And my favorite season too!
I love FALL!
I sure enjoyed having Brayden with me this week.
I guess I should say we all did- Papa, me & the twins!
I was sad to see him go home with his mom & Mike last night.
He is such a sweetie!
We have had alot of fun this past week.
And made lots of great memories!

I got my hair cut yesterday morning.
Then spent my whole day/night stamping!
Brayden even stamped with me & picked out what he wants to take to
school for his Halloween Treats this year!
He LOVED the heat & stick powder & the Black Glitter!
(Imagine that!)
It was so cute when he saw how it was done.
So I finally got all 10 projects created for my upcoming Halloween Treats class!
Oh my GOSH is all I can say!
