How did I punch out these words?

I used the Hexagon Punch for BOTH the layer & the words 

& got 2 totally different looks!

*Punch out using Blueberry Bushel card stock.

*Stamp words onto a 1 1/8" strip of Basic White card stock

& then punch out using the Hexagon Punch!

Beary Christmas gift card holder card

Awhh.....yes another bear card.

I just love this DSP!

 

I fussy cut this cute little bear/present out of the

 #162015- Beary Christmas DSP= $12.50 pg. 23 HC- RETIRING!

#162029- Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins= $8.00- pg. 23 HC- RETIRING!

The words were punched out using the NEW

#162888- Heartfelt Hexagon Punch= $22.00

This card is made with the same pieces as the  

snowflake card that I posted earlier this week.

This card is going horizontally & that one was a vertical card layout.

Check out the inside of the card.

Look how I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch as a "gift card slot".

NOTE:  

Be sure that you do NOT put adhesive around the punched out part, just add 

adhesive to the outside edges of this 4 x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock.

I just slid the punch all the way in from the center/bottom 

of the cardstock edge & punch it!

See how you can just slide the gift card down into this punched out slot.

This layout is a great way to use up your 6x6" DSP!

It is awesome because it shows both sides of your DSP!

 

Here is the pattern I made to show you how I cut it up!

I cut a piece of 6x6" DSP down to 5 1/4 x 6".

Then CUT at 4" & 5".

You'll have 3 pieces of DSP that measure-

4 x 5 1/4"; 1 x 5 1/4" & 1 x 5 1/4"

This is what the card looks like when opened up!

Notice how I adhered the DSP to the front- as I 

adhered it to the backside of the front card base flap!

Cool huh!

I just LOVE the deer & wintery look of this DSP.

I think it would make a great Christmas card

OR it would even be a guy card too!

A Walk In The Forest Christmas card

Check out this simple yet gorgeous Christmas card!

I made another fun starburst card.

 

I used the

#162377- A Walk In The Forest DSP= $12.50- pg. 5 HC- RETIRING!

#162000- Stars At Night stamp set= $24.00- pg. 17 HC- RETIRING!

#161976- Christmas Classic Dies= $37.00 on SALE= $33.30- pg. 31 HC- RETIRING!

How did I make the starburst?

I cut 2 pieces of 2 x 4" DSP & cut them at at diagonal.

Notice how I used a 2 x 2" DSP scrap & diagonally cut it to add to the inside of my card.

I punched out some circles with a hole punch to make the

Cherry Cobbler CS discs & added Wink of Stella to them to make the sparkle!

 I added these to the berries & the card front.

Notice how I used the Black Stampin' Write Marker & traced over the letters

in the words so that they were black!

I love how doing this makes the words POP OUT more!

This is a dutch door fold card & it looks like this when it is standing up.

Noticed how I added a 1" strip of DSP along the inside of the card too!

Pick of the Patch

Here is a cute Fall card!

 

I made a fun starburst card using the

#162196- Pick of the Patch stamp set= $21.00- pg. 51 HC- RETIRING!

NOTE:  The coordinating Pick of the Patch Punch is SOLD OUT.

#162215- Them Bones DSP= $12.50- pg. 49 HC- RETIRING!

 

How did I make the starburst?

Check out the patterns.......

*I took 2 pieces of DSP that measured 2 x 4" & cut them both in half diagonally.

*I adhered the 4 strips onto the card front like this.

Notice that I left about a 1/8" spacing between each one of them.

*I turned this over to the back side & cut off the excess that was hanging over the edges! 

*These are the pieces that I cut off! 

Cute huh!!

I love the way it turned out!
