Yesterday was a LONG day!  It started out early with pigs & then I had boys all day.  We played outside for about 2 1/2 hours yesterday morning & then we went out again for awhile yesterday afternoon.  When everyone was gone- I burnt the midnight oil working on stamping stuff.

The guys went racing in Columbus Junction for a special race there.  Nathan got in a wreck in his heat race; they checked things out while under the caution & he ended up getting 2nd place.  He started 9th in the feature & he finished 4th.

This morning I'm off to go pick up all of my boys.  I'll take the twins to pre-school & then spend my day with Trey & Masen.  Tonight we are suppose to race in Osky, but it sounds like we might get rained out.  I will be home cutting card stock either way though.....this is just a crazy busy week for me.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday Trey & I ran errands in the morning.  We went to visit my mom & my aunt Virginia.  We got home around noon & made lunch.  When Trey went home I went outside to help Deke with the pigs.  Brayden rode the bus here after school, so he rode his motorcycle up by the hog lot.  And Nathan was here to help Deke & me with the pigs.  When I got in last night I made supper & worked on bookwork the rest of the night.

This morning we are up early at 5:00 to mark, sort & load hogs.  I hope the trucker is on time!!  I'll then go pick up the 4 boys & spend my day with all of them.

Tonight the guys are going to Columbus Junction for a special race.  I'm staying home- as I have tons of card stock to get cut for this weeks classes.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Nathan, Sarah & Deke went to Vinton racing.  Nathan won his heat & he he also won the main!!  Woo Hoo!!  I wish I would have been there, but I have a crazy week & I needed to be at home trying to get things done.

We had a busy & long day yesterday!!  I was totally shocked & amazed at all of the thousands of people that came to walk in the JDFR in Des Moines yesterday morning.  It was a beautiful day!  We were getting hot & tired by the end of it though.  We stopped to eat lunch together on the way home in Pella.

Here is a picture of us at the end of our walk!
Deke drove to Osky & left his car on our way to Des Moines, so he came right home to work on the farm & I got groceries & a few things.

I came home, put groceries away & planted a few of my flowers.  We then all headed to Bloomfield to race!  Nathan won his heat & got 5th place in the main- he started 9th & it was just one groove with no where to pass.  It was late when we got home.

This morning I'm up early & will spend my morning in the kitchen cooking!  We are having lunch at Deke's moms & I'm doing the ham balls & grapenut muffins.  We'll eat with his family & then I plan to spend my afternoon/evening- planting flowers & stamping!!  The guys are going to Vinton racing.

I hope you have a VERY SPECIAL Sunday!
Happy Mother's Day to all of you mom's out there.

Here is a BEAUTIFUL card using the Succulent Framelits Dies, along with the So Detailed Thinlits Dies & the 'So In Love' stamp set!

I chose the colors of Night of Navy & Whisper White- but you could use any colors to design this card with & it would be stunning!

This is one of the cards everyone joining me for my May monthly classes will be making!

I just LOVE the layout, the colors, these cool thinlits & the cool framelits too!!
How did I add the white color to the edges of the Night of Navy flower?
I just lightly rubbed the edges of the flowers directly onto the Whisper White Craft Ink pad!

Yesterday was a busy day!  The 2 little boys & I went to H&M & bought some flowers.  We were outside almost all morning.  We planted flowers for Sarah & Deke's mom for Mother' Day gifts.  I now need to find time to go buy more flowers for myself, Manda & my mom & get them planted.

After school all of the boys were here for just a little bit together & they had fun playing together outside!!  Uncle Steve was pitching balls to Brayden & he was hitting them!

We then had ball practice & races too.  Nathan won his heat & got 2nd in the main!  I didn't end up making it to the races, as ball practice lasted longer than we thought it would.  So I came home & worked in the yard again until dark.

Today is a special day.....as this morning all of our family is up early & doing something that is very dear to our hearts!  We are headed to Des Moines for us to do the JDRF Walk for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  We have several family members that are Type 1 diabetics.  Our grandson Brayden; our nephews- Matt & John; Sarah's mom; Sarah's boss & my cousins- Karen & John.  So we are walking together as Team 52 for this great cause.

Here are the family members walking today- me, Deke, Sarah, Nathan, Brayden, Masen, Manda, Steve, Brody, Drake, Trey; Deke's sister Darci; our nephew Josh & his family- Kacie, Collyn's, Coleson; Sarah's parents- Doug, Julie & Sarah's boss.

If you'd like to donate to this foundation- below is the link:

Our Team 52 has met our goal, but the foundation as whole has not met theirs.  All donations go directly to JDRF! Bless Manda & her family; my sister-in-law Sheryl; our niece Stephanie & her family & our nephew Josh & his family for their donations to our Team 52 group!

A cute Daisy tag!

These are the name tags that I made for everyone's bags for my Spring Fling.   The New Daisy Punch- that is available on June 1st for customers to order- worked just perfect!  The Daisy's are bright, cheery & Spring like!
I used the Brights Designer Paper Stack.  The colors of the 3 different flowers are- Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango & Rich Razzleberry.
I used the Scalloped Tag Topper for the tag base, punched out 2 of the Daisy Flowers & layered them together- adding a 1/2" Daffodil Delight Circle Punch to the center of it.  I wrote everyone's names on their tags using the Cucumber Crush marker & tied the tags onto the bags using the Cucumber Crush ribbon.

++++++++
Oh my- the flu bug has hit our family.  Sarah was sick on Monday, Nathan was sick yesterday & I got sick last night.  It is a monster bug- that is forsure....I am hoping it it short lived.  I haven't had the flu this bad in years.  So I'm home alone today & praying I am better soon.  And I pray that no one else gets it either.

Deke left early this morning to chore, headed to the office for a couple of hours & then he has a meeting in Mount Pleasant this afternoon.

Tonight we are all suppose to go racing in Osky.....but it is now raining.....so we'll see what the day brings.

THANKFULLY our corn fields were all planted yesterday!!  So that is one less thing to worry about getting done & it was perfect timing with the rain we are getting today.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

This stamp set is one that my downline Lorraine got as a Prize Patrol give away when we were at On Stage together last month.  She let me borrow her stamp set (since none of us can buy it yet) so that I could use it for our team meeting.  Bless her!

NOTE:  This stamp set will be available in the New Annual Catalog beginning June 1st.  This stamp set also has coordinating framelits called- Pocket Framelits- that go with it.

I really like the way this turned out!

I used the Sunburst Thinlits that are RETIRING too for the background here.

ink:  Archival Basic Black

Yesterday was a busy day!  I took the twins to school & then Deke, me, Trey & Masen went to Rita's funeral.  It was early afternoon when we got home & I had to get lunch & finally got the boys down for a late nap.  We all went to the races last night.  Nathan got 2nd in his heat & only lost by a bummer.  He started 4th in the main & WON!  I'm glad we were all there to cheer him on.

They had kids night at the races too last night- so here is a picture of the boys riding around the track in the race car with Nathan!  Too cute!

Drake, Steve, Trey & Brody are in the back.  Masen is sitting on Nathan's lap!  Look at their smiles!

This morning we are up early & on the go!  Deke is choring & I'm headed in to pick up the boys!!  We get baby piggies in again today- so we'll have a bunch of little farmers helping us!
