Here is a great guy card!  Check it out!!  This is one of the cards that everyone joining me for my April monthly card classes get to make with me!  I think it turned out really cute- don't you?
It looks like when it is open.
Check out the cool look you get when you use the Hexagon Embossing folder on the Silver Foil sheets.   It really looks like metal!  I love it!

And check out the Urban Underground Embellishment!  The little screws have adhesive on the back of them & stick great!  They sure add alot to the looks of this card!

There are several different words stamps I'll have with me at my classes, so that everyone can personalize their card for whatever occasion they are needing.  As I know several people don't have father's any more (as I don't either), but I still have a husband, a step dad, a father-in-law, a son & a son-in-law that I send Father's Day cards too.

stamp set:  'Nailed It'- RETIRING

ink:  Basic Gray
other:  Big Shot, New Platform, Hexagon Embossing Folder, Urban Underground Embellishments-NOW SOLD OUT, Dimensionals, Paper Snips

NOTE:  This stamp set did have framelits to go with it, but they are NOW  SOLD OUT.  I did fussy cut these images out & it worked fine.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter!!  We had a busy Easter day!!  I got up early yesterday morning to stamp!  As I'm working on projects for my upcoming team meeting & my upcoming Spring Fling event.  I'm lovin' getting to play with the new catalog products that I got to pre-order, since I was an On Stage attendee.  I can't wait to share lots of projects & new things with all of you in the coming month!!

Our Easter afternoon was spent seeing many of my family.  And then we had a cook out last night with our kids & grandkids, along with a fun Easter Egg hung, bon-fire & a movie!

I am home alone today & I'll be stamping all day & all night!!  I have lots of creating & cutting to get done!  Manda, Steve & their boys & Nathan, Sarah & their boys- are all going to an Iowa Cubs baseball game today since there isn't any school.  The boys are super excited about going!!  I can't wait to hear all the trip when I seen them tomorrow morning.

Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  He is hoping that it is dry enough to get back in the field this afternoon & he'll work late tonight.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

Wow!!  What a cool stamp set this is!
This is a clean & simple card- but it it is really pretty.
stamp set: 'Easter Message'
card stock:  Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
ink:  Chocolate Chip
other:  Clear Wink of Stella Pen, Dimensionals
I don't know if you can tell that I stamped the palm leaf stamp along the edges of the card front- using Chocolate Chip ink onto the Chocolate Chip card stock.
Check out the colored cross.
How did I do it?
  • I stamped it using the Chocolate Chip ink onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.
  • I took my Clear Wink of Stella Pen, picked up ink off of the top of my inside ink pad lid & lightly colored the cross.
NOTE:  You have to color carefully, as the Chocolate Chip ink is not permanent & it will bleed/run more if you touch the ink.  I tried to blend it by lightly touching it.
This is how I colored the cross!
AND check out this cross.  It isn't colored in at all- just left plain.

I hope you have a very special Easter day!
Happy Stamping!

Check out these cute little bunny bags that the twins & I made last week.  Brody & Drake both love to make things!!  And they are both very creative!  We had fun!

The top flap comes up, so that you can put things into it- making the bag.

We used our SU! medium White Envelopes to make these bags.
We used the March Paper Pumpkin stamps for the bunny faces.  Aren't they just so cute!!

Other supplies we used are-
  • white envelope
  • oval punches
  • Momento Black ink pad
  • retired Pumpkin Pie ribbon
  • Retired Pumpkin Pie DSP
  • Tear & Tape
  • Glue Dots
  • cotton ball
Using the Scoring Tool- I scored 1" on both sides & along the bottom.

The top opens up like this.  And check out the cotton ball tails!
The boys had fun punching out the ovals, gluing them together, putting on the ribbon & the tails.

Yesterday day with a busy day that started out early on the farm with pigs & then all of my boys.  It was SO NICE outside & we enjoyed the beautiful weather.  When they all left, I went & got my hair cut (it is super short again).  I worked on some bookwork & stamping.  And Deke worked in the field.  I road with him a couple of rounds when I took his supper out to him.  I was beat & ended up falling asleep.  Deke worked in the field until after midnight, as he is trying to get as much done as he can before it rains again.

I have the day off today!  I'll be home all day & will be a stamping fool!  I hope I get alot done!

Deke will be home to work on the farm all day.  Since it is suppose to rain, he probably won't be in the field.....so he's gonna be moving pigs & washing out the old finisher.

Tonight we are suppose to race in Columbus Junction....we'll see if mother nature changes those plans or not.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a quite day with my 2 little boys.  We ran errands in town in the morning.  They were really good!  It was just the 3 of us for the whole day, since Deke was gone to a meeting too.  When the boys went home last night I worked on bookwork all night.

When Deke got home from his meeting late yesterday afternoon he chored & then went to the field.  I took out his supper & road with him in the tractor for a couple of rounds in the field.

Last night was a short night at our house.  This morning we are up bright & early to work on the farm.  We'll go out about 5:00 a.m. to mark, sort & load hogs.  I'll then spend part of my day with all of the boys today too.  Later this afternoon I'm going to go get my hair cut.  And then tonight I plan to stamp!

Yesterday was a fun day with the boys!  We boiled eggs & colored them for Easter!  Loved hearing their excitement & choosing the colors that they wanted their egg to be.  Now I'll have to find time to make Deke deviled eggs with them.  I love boiled eggs, but I think that Brayden & I are the only 2 in the family that eat them.

When the Seeley boys left last night, Masen & I rode in the tractor with Deke for awhile.  When Masen went home I burnt the midnght oil stamping!  I'm making 40 cards to send to a friend.  I need to get them done & in the mail to her.  As I have lots of other stamping things I need to get done for upcoming classes that I have this month.

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to the office for a bit & then he'll be on his way to Mt. Pleasant for a meeting.  I'm off to go pick up my boys!  I'll take the twins to pre-school & then Trey, Masen & I will run errands & come back home.

Tonight when the boys go home I have piles to do.....hope I get alot done.

Wishing you a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Gosh- I love this stamp set- 'Special Reason'!  I have used it alot!!  It is in the Occasions Catalog!  And it is one of the many stamp sets that will be retiring!  Make sure you get it before it is retired if it is on your wish list.

This stamp set also has coordinating framelits, called Stylish Stems Framelits.  These framelits are retiring too.

This card is one that I made for one of my swaps that I took to the Minneapolis On Stage event last weekend.

This card is just so bright & spring like!
I did the rock & roll technique here.
How did I do that?
  • I inked the big flower stamp, using the Peek-a-boo Peach ink.
  • I stamped the flower onto my grid paper.
  • I then rolled the edges of the flower stamp into Peek-a-boo Peach ink.
  • I then stamped the flower onto the Whisper White card stock.
  • I then added some Fine Tip Glue to the center of the flowers- be sure to let the glue dry for approx. 30 minutes or more.
Note:  The 2 little flowers I inked into the Peek-a-boo Peach ink & stamped them directly onto the Whisper White card stock...I did not rock & roll them.

stamp set:  'Special Reason' & 'Suite Sayings'- BOTH RETIRING
card stock:  Pear Pizzazz, Peek-a-boo Peach, Whisper White
designer paper:  2016-2018 In Color DSP (Peek-a-boo Peach)- RETIRING

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys.  It was kinda chilly out, but they played outside yesterday afternoon & worked on picking up sticks in the yards, so that Deke could mow.  When the boys went home last night I picked up toys, made supper & placed orders!

This morning I'm off to go pick up the boys for the day.  I hope that the weather is nice enough we can play outside again today.  Tonight when they go home I pan to work on stamping stuff!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Check out my pile of card stock & stamped words here!!

This card is one of my On Stage swaps that I made!!  It is clean & simple!

And I did the Chalk Board technique on it!  I think it turned out super cute!  Don't you!
Notice the little red heart that I punched out of Real Red card stock, using the Owl Builder Punch & added here!

WOW- It was a super busy weekend!  We had a wonderful time at On Stage! It was great to see so many of my demonstrator friends from all over the US that I haven't seen for quite awhile!!  And I loved spending time with those on my team that got to go with me too!

I am super EXCITED, as I learned some new things that I can't wait to share with all of my customers & my team members, at my upcoming stamping events!!  AND I am in LOVE the new catalog & I can't wait to be able to share it with all of you!!  The new catalog goes live to customers on June 1st!!!  Per Stampin' Up! rules, I will post more information about the new catalog when I can.  Until then you'll just have to take my word that you'll love it!!

And wait until you see the new stamp sets & products that I got at this On Stage event.  I can tell you that one of the stamp sets has something on it that is very much a huge part of our family- PIGS!  It is sooooo cute!!!  I can't wait to be able to share & tell you more about all of these things!!

For today you'll have to gear up for my post later today with the RETIRING LIST!  Be sure you get the items on it that you want, before the are sold out!
---------
I got home from Minnesota yesterday afternoon.  And I then worked on farm bookwork, emails, laundry & such- trying to play catch up!!  I was beat!!!  We were on the go the whole time.  I am glad that I was able to attend this event & I enjoyed my time there learning & visiting with all of my SU! friends.  But I am very happy to be home to my family; I am happy to be able take a shower at home; & I am excited to sleep in my own bed!

This morning I'm off to go pick up all of my boys for the day!!  Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting!  Tonight when the boys go home I'll be working on catching up on more things.  And Deke hopes to work in the field again tonight if we don't get too much rain.

Gotta run......

Yesterday was a LONG day!  It started out early with pigs & then enjoyed all of my boys for the day.  Last night Deke & I went to Cale's visitation.  It was just so heartbreaking!  There was a huge crowd.  We stood in line for along time.

I worked on stamping stuff when we got home.

This morning we are up early again & outside at 5:00 a.m.- to mark, sort & load hogs again.  There is no school for Sigourney today, due to Cale's funeral being at the school.  So I'll just have Masen this morning & then I'll keep the other 3 boys while Manda, Steve & Nathan go to the funeral.

Deke is headed into the courthouse for the morning & then he has a meeting this afternoon in Frytown.

Tonight I'll be working on stamping stuff again!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a busy day with all of my boys!  We made some cute little Easter Bunny bags.....I took pictures of them.  I'll get them downloaded & share them sometime in the next week or so.

Brayden was here after school yesterday too.  It is always fun when they are all together!

When the boys went home last night I worked on stamping stuff all night!

This morning we are up early at 5 to head outside to work on the farm- marking, sorting & loading hogs.  Hopefully the trucker is on time & get done by 7:15, so I can get there in time to pick up the boys.  I'll spend my day with all 4 of them.

Tonight Deke & I will be going to Cale Jarmes visitation.  He was only 15 years old & was killed in a car accident last week.  His brother was badly injuried.  And Joe Snakenberg was killed too (his visitation was Sunday night that we attended).  Their tragic accident was such a huge shock & so heartbreaking to our community.  My heart just breaks for these families!  Going to a visitation isn't ever easy to do, but attending this one is going to be really hard!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a great day of stamping with everyone!!  My hostess Kathy had a cute table decorated with an Easter tree & bunnies, along with some great snacks.  I want to give a shout out to Teri, Laura, Dena, Brooke, Jenny, Jan & Andrea for helping us to set up & clean up too!! I appreciate them more than they know!!

Last night I headed straight home from my class to meet Deke & Manda.  We all went to a friend- Joe Snakenberg's visitation.  There was a huge crowd & we saw lots of friends we hadn't seen for awhile.  Joe was killed in a semi accident last Monday, so please keep his family in your prayers.

This morning Deke is off to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to go pick up all of my boys & spend the day with all 4 of them.  I have some projects planned for us to get done this week.....as I promised Drake we'd do them this week!

Tonight after the boys go home I hope to get caught up on bookwork & placing orders!  Deke has a meeting tonight in Fairfield, so I'll be home alone.  Hopefully we can be in bed early (for us), as we have to get up really early tomorrow morning to load hogs again.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!
