I am lovin' this Spiral Flower Die & the Envelope Punch Board together!

 Good morning!
Here is a card everyone joining me at Cathy's workshop will get to make tonight!
I can't wait to share with all of them.
Cathy loves flowers......as she use to own a flower shop.
Isn't the Spiral Flower die just beautiful!
Check out the way it opens up!
I made it with the Envelope Punch Board.

And did you notice that I used my favorite product?
The Scalloped Tag Topper punch.
I actually made 3 of them (Whisper White, Real Red & Mambo Melon) & layered them.

And this card is so totally not what I had in mind when I started creating last night.
It is funny how things just come together.

Check out the new Sprial Flower Die & these beautiful Roses!

Good morning!!
I have made alot of these roses lately.
Here are some of them.
Manda & Lindsey are in charge of decorating the teachers lounge for the month of February!
So we made stemmed roses & heart banners.
Aren't these roses just beautiful!
I put them on wires for their stems & then the girls
are putting them in vases with red beads in the bottom of them.
Check out the new Spiral Flower Die- #129379= $17.95
pg. 32 in the Occasions Catalog!

Here are some NOTES:
  • I used a water bottle & misted both side of my spiral flower cut out, blotting off the excess water.
  • Then I rolled the spiral cut out from the small end outward to form the rose.
  • I released or relaxed the rolled flower for it to be my desired fullness I wanted for my finished rose.
  • I used Liquid Glue on the big circle at the end of the spiral to hold the flower together.
  • I then SMASHED the flower down to give it a more vintage or real look, by pressing down on it with my hand to flatten it some.

Last night Brayden & I had fun while Papa & Nathan went to the Iowa BB game.
Tonight Susie's Hair Hut is open for business & then I'll be stamping the night away.
Woo Hoo!!
Cathy is having her annual Stampin' Party tomorrow night!
And then I have my monthly Stamping Group on Sunday to get ready for too with Jenny being our hostess this month!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!
hugs!

Check out this New Ampersand Embossing Folder!

Good morning!!
Here is a quick card I made using the new Occasions Catalog Ampersand embossing folder.
I saw an card at Leadership that was embossed like this,
so here is my version of it!
I love how the Baked Brown Sugar card stock goes with the Gold's.
I think they go so well together!
Notice how the Vellum Heart Designer Paper is punched out with the 1/2" Circle Punch?
We did this on our Make & Takes at Founders last fall too!

This card kind of goes against my rule of combing gold & silver together.
Years ago I would have never done that!
Now I do it often with my jewelry & clothes too.
Funny how trends & fashions change.

If you look closely you can see that I used the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder
on the main card piece that is Basic Gray.
This embossing folder is a free item you can earn during Sale-a-bration for FREE.
'Happy Watercolor'
cs:  Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Baked Brown Sugar, Silver Foil, Gold Shimmer
dp:  Gold Fancy Foil
ink:  Basic Gray
supplies:  Big Shot, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (SAB), 1/2" Circle Punch,
Paper Snips, Gold Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

WOW!
This cold & wind are wicked!
It was blowing at least 40 mph last night.
And it is still going strong now.
Sigourney Schools are delayed 2 hours.
I might end up going to Manda's today to keep the boys.
We have a funeral at church today & I'm on the luncheon committee
so am off to get my food made to run to town.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Stay warm & safe!

I'd love to have you join me!

This awesome card I'm sharing today was created by my downline Dawn Klein.
I shared another card she created earlier this week & commented about how I love her vintage style.
Isn't it just beautiful!
She used the new Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper that you can earn for free
during Sale-a-bration- beginning Tuesday!
I will update this post with a supply list soon!

I am finally home today- Woo Hoo!

I saw a card on Pinterest similar to this.
And so this is what I came up with!
For some reason I'm totally in a black mode.
Gosh.....every card I made last night & this morning has black in it.
And I rarely use black.....but it is just so striking!

Oh my Mr. Moose!

Good morning!
While at Leadership a couple of weeks ago I got an awesome card from
my dear Canadian friend- Karen Duke.
She used this moose & did the Painter's Tape Technique on it.
On her card she used Soft Sky as the base of her card.
So here is my version of her card that I CASED.
Isn't it just an awesome guy card?
I absolutely love it!

'Walk in the Wild'
cs:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Basic Black
ink:  Black Stazon, Wild Wasabi, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Sky
other:  Painter's Tape

I had a full house stamping with me last night.
Oh baby it is COLD out there......
And I'm so glad that everyone came out on such a freezing winter night to join me.

Tomorrow I'm having a big downline meeting here at our home for my directs
& all of my adoptees too.
So I have LOTS of stamping & things to get done tonight after work.
I'll be burning the midnight oil forsure.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

Hello- 'Peachy Keen'!

Good morning!
Here is a cute card I made using lots of new Occasions Catalog products.
 'Peachy Keen'
cs: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Coastal Cabanan, So Saffron
dp:  Retro Fresh Designer Paper
markers:  Tangerine Tango & Coastal Cabana
supplies:  Big Shot, On Film Framelits, Arrows Textured Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Glue Dot, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (Circle), 3/8" Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon

NOTE:  There is a stamp for the camera in the set & also in the framelits.
They are reverse image though- so as you see above I didn't stamp the camera, I just used the framelit to cut it out & use it that way.
You can see up close the pressed images in the camera when you see it in person.

Tonight is my rescheduled Stampin Night class here at our home.
I hope that everyone makes it.
Sigourney Schools are delayed 2 hours this morning due to the deep cold temps.
I'm off to scrub & set up tables & hopefully get alot done before the boys get here.

I hope you have a very special day!!
Stay warm!!
Happy Stamping!

Weekly Deals- January 21-27, 2014

Here is another Sale-a-bration Sneak Peek!

Good morning!
This is a card that my downline Dawn Klein created
for a shoe box swap that we did at Leadership a couple of weeks ago.
I LOVE it!!!
I LOVE her vintage style!
She is an amazing stamper!
Isn't this card just stunning?
And is showcasing the cool 'Banner Blast' set & coordinating Banner Punch
that are both Sale-a-bration products & available beginning
next Tuesday, 1/28/14.
'Banner Blast' (SAB)
cs:  Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black
dp:  Modern Medley
ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black
supplies:  Big Shot, Arrows Textured Embossing Folder, Banner Punch (SAB), Basic Pearl, Small Heart Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch, Linen Thread, Crochet Trim, Glue Dots

WOW!
What a LONG trip I had to deliver stamps last night.
I am so appreciative to those that connected with me.
When I left home it wasn't doing anything weather wise.
About 15 mins from home it started spitting slushy rain, that turned into snow.
And it took me 4 1/2 hours to do what normally takes me a little over 2 1/2 hours.
I was driving 35 miles per hour on I80 on the way up & all the way home too on Hwy 1.
Had I ever dreamed that the predicted snow showers were going to amount to several inches of WET, Heavy Snow & slick roads- I would have reschedule.
Anyways.....I'm so thankful that I made it home safely.

Nathan had an early meeting this morning, so I'll be taking Brayden to school this morning & picking up the twins at their home to bring to our home.
Then tonight I'm a farmer, helping Deke,  as we sell hogs.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!
