Here is a picture of Nathan's wrecked car!

My words to Deke when he text me last night that Nathan got wrecked...."CRAP"!
Thank God he wasn't hurt!
The new car looks pretty bad though.
Guess the guys will be spending alot of time in the shop putting it back together.
And it was SO PRETTY before.

Oh, Whale

Good morning!

Here is one of the cards that everyone did at my 'All Occasions' card class.
I just love this little whale!
(I will update this post in the next day or two with a supply list.)

I enjoyed supper & visiting with my friends Donna & Phyllis last night!
It has been along time since we've had the chance to get together.
The guys all went racing.
Nathan got 2nd in his heat & got wrecked in the main, so they'll be spending alot of time in the shop this week putting his car back together.
THANKFULLY Nathan wasn't hurt.

This is a quick post, as I am off to get my hair cut & then deliver stamps along the way!
Then tonight I have a date with my honey!
Nathan & April got us a gift certificate for Christmas, so we are going out to eat supper tonight to celebrate our anniversary!
Yep- tomorrow (03/31) I'll have been married to my best friend for 29 years!
It was a beautiful spring day on our wedding day too.
I don't know where the time goes.....doesn't seem like it has been that many years.
HOPING & PRAYING we have many more anniversaries to celebrate together.
I'm lucky to have such a great husband!
Heck how many husbands help their wife get ready for stamp classes?
Deke is a Big Shot pro!
Oh how I am blessed in so many ways!

I hope you have a great day!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

BUSY WEEKEND here.....starting today.....

Yesterday was a fun & busy day with the twins & new baby piggies!

Last night Deke & I went to the hospital to visit my step-dad.  He was in good spirits, but in alot of pain.  He has a long road ahead of him with healing from his hip surgery.  He has a huge screw, several little screws & a big plate in him now to hold everything together on his hip.  I felt so sorry for him.  He is definitely in my prayers, as he begins his healing journey.

My mom was diagnosed with bladder cancer late last fall.  She did several weeks of treatment & her last tests 6 weeks ago show that she is cancer free!!  She does have to follow up with treatment every couple months for several years & starts that process today......so will be saying extra prayers for her too.

For today's schedule....
Manda has the day off today, so she'll get to enjoy the day home with the twins.
With my coffee in hand, I am off to my Stamp Studio to cut wedding invites for Shanoah, as she will be home this weekend & they want to get them all made.
Then I have several orders that arrived the past couple of days too that I need to get sorted, cut & bagged to get delivered.
Nathan races in Donnellson tonight so all of the guys will be going there.
I am going to visit my friend Donna, whom I haven't seen since right before Christmas.
(She was diagnosed with breast cancer last summer & has been finished with her treatments for a month.  She is doing great!!!)

Ok- gotta run....
I hope you have a fabulous Friday!
Many Blessings!

Yesterday my brother-in-law Dan Wood did a great job with the sermon at Aunt Pat's funeral.
We've enjoyed spending the past few days with Deke's family.
So sad that it takes someone passing to get all of the family together.

We get baby piggies in this morning so the boys & I will be out farming with Deke.

They are excited & so are we!
We love these little babies!
Then we sell hogs tonight.....so it is gonna be a long day!

Hope it isn't too cold out!
I am so ready for spring so we can go outside & play!!

Hope you have a great day!

Check out the visitor that came up to our porch door.
I am standing in the window in our family room & we are looking right at each other.
I didn't zoom in to take this picture or anything.
This precious creature was about 5 feet from house & not afraid at all!
I can't believe that it is the end of March & we have this much snow again!

A 'Woo Hoo' Birthday card....

Good morning!

This is another card that we did at my 'All Occasions' class.
I used the single stamp 'Woo Hoo'.
It is only available until 3/31.

Yesterday was a very nice day spent with Deke's family.
It is so sad that it takes a death in the family to get everyone together.
I cooked lunch & took up to his parents home for all of us.
Then spent my afternoon cooking to take food to the funeral home for the family to eat while there tonight.
There were several friends & family that came to Pat's visitation tonight.
We were just going to have graveside services today, but due to all of SNOW- we'll be having her services at the funeral home & do her burial later, as she was cremated.

I hope you have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!

Especially for You....

HI!
Woohoo......it has been a crazy week preparing.....
I've been cooking tonight & just got done loading part of my car.
My card stock cutting just got finished too!
Yipee!!
I'm headed to bed for a few hours & will get up bright & early to bake cookie bars & finish loading the card before I head out about 6:30.
I'm off to Hiawatha to spend my day stamping with lots of stamping friends.
They will be attending my Annual 'All Occasions' card class.
I'm EXCITED & can't wait for them to see all of the cards.
I thought that the card shown today could be an "anything" card.
It would make a pretty wedding card, birthday card, sympathy card, get well card, etc.

'Blooming with Kindness' & 'Made for You'
cs:  Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla
Brights Designer Series Paper Stack
ink:  Rich Razzleberry
supplies:  Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon, glue dot, dimensionals
There is a snow prediction for Southern Iowa this afternoon, evening & tomorrow.
I'm hoping that it misses us......or at least I don't have bad weather driving home tonight from Hiawatha anyway.

Also-
Several of my downline & adoptees are attending a Stampin' UP! Regionals today in St. Louis.
I know they'll have fun & can't wait to hear all about it!!
If I hadn't already had this big stamp camp scheduled I would have been joining them.
I hope they have safe travels back home too with this predicted snow storm.

Wow- have a fabulous day!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!
