An update from Manda.....they are getting to come home today!

Brody had a restless night again. We don’t think he is feeling a lot of pain. Instead he is very angry that he hasn’t gone “bye bye” yet! Each time someone from the hospital enters the room he tells them “bye bye.” He still doesn’t want to be in the room hardly at all when he is awake…..even in the middle of the night. Steve took him on a walk again in the middle of the night just to get him to relax and go to sleep.
We are continuing with the tylenol every 4 hours as needed. He did have the steroid this morning at 8 AM but I believe that was his last dose!! Hallelujah!!
We just got back from an X-ray and are waiting on the discharge papers. YAY! Can’t wait to get home and see Drake and sleep in my bed and cook real food, do laundry…..the list goes on!!!

Jenny had an amazing party yesterday!

 I went straight from her party to the hospital.

I visited for awhile & then Drake & I came home at bedtime.

Hoping Brody gets to come home today.....will keep you posted.

Brody's "CHEESY" smile!

He got to put his jammies on today.

(Even though he still have his IV & all of the pads for monitors on his chest.)

He also got to walk holding onto our hand today too!

They are cutting back on his steriods- so hoping that will help his mood some.

He is a strong little boy!

He has been through alot lately.

He is just so darn sweet!

Drake is homesick....feel so bad for him.

I had a great time yesterday stamping with Jo & her friends!

Then we headed to Iowa City to see Brody.
He is gain every day, but still has a long ways to go.
I got to hold him for about 1 1/2 hours last night.
That made us both happy!!

I'm off soon today to Jenny's stamping party!
