Brody's surgery is postponed.....

We got bummer news today......Brody's surgery has been postponed due to his ear infection.  DARN, DARN, DARN!!!  We don't have a new date for surgery scheduled yet.....they are booking into April!! That is a LONG TIME TO WAIT!!

And double bummer......guess we probably won't be going on our Stampin' UP trip this year & everything is already booked- so just out!

'Best of Birthdays'- 25th Anniversary set!

Good morning!

Here is one of the pretty cards that everyone joining me at my February workshops will be making.

Tonight I have Stampin' Night here at our home, so hoping all of the ladies will be excited about this card that they will be making.  I am excited to be having everyone join me!  This card is created with the Stampin' UP! 25 Year Anniversary January set- 'Best of Birthdays'.

I usually don't do just tone on tone colored cards.
I tried adding a couple of other colors to this & decided it was just too busy!
I think it turned out pretty though- hope you do to!
 
I'll update this post tomorrow with the list of supplies used.

I am hurrying around this morning to get some last minute things done before my class tonight.  Plus the twins have an appointment today, so that adds to the busy day!  Thankfully if Deke's morning goes ok with his chores, he is going to go with me to take the boys to their appointment.  It just makes it so much easier when there are 2 of us.  And since he doesn't have a meeting today, that worked out perfect for me!

Deke is gone all day today to Ankeny to a meeting.

Busy day here with the twins.

Busy night tonight getting ready for a big Stampin' Night group of ladies coming to our home tomorrow night to stamp with me!

'Oh, Hello' rose.......

Good morning!
Here is a pretty card that I got in a swap from my friend Ruth Bingle.

She is a gem & I met her several years ago at Founders.

We always try to connect when we attend SU! events.

Brody is sick.....such a bummer!

So yesterday Deke went with me & took the twins to see Dr. Mary.

Drakes ear infection is gone, but he still has a cough, so he is on meds for that.

Brody had ear infection & a cough, so he has meds for that too.

Brody will have a return check in 2 weeks.

Praying that the meds help him get better soon, as his surgery is in 2 1/2 weeks & he can't be sick then or else they will have to reschedule his surgery.

AND we sure don't want that to happen- we want to get it done.

 So praying that the boys are better soon.

It has been a long winter!

My little man, Brayden came to visit last night while his daddy & Papa worked in the shop.

Oh my gosh.....he ate tons.

He was starving when he got here at 4:45, so I made him supper.

We then watched a movie together & pIayed.

I so enjoy him!

He is so smart & sweet- such a joy! 

When he left I burnt the midnight oil working on SU! business stuff.
(I had to place a couple of orders & sort 3 boxes of stamps that arrived yesterday.)

Tonight is my farmer night- we sell hogs.
