'Oh, Hello'

Good morning!

This is a card that my downline Dawn created & brought to our last downline meeting as a shoe box swap!! I've told you before- but am telling you again- I have an awesome husband!  I help him & he helps me!  Glad we are such a good team!  We are blessed!  Last night he helped take down the Christmas tree & put it away in the garage for the year; then helped me move all of the furniture out of the family room & I shampooed the carpet in that whole room.  I also got my orders from Denise's party all entered & finalized.  And I sent out reminder emails about my Stampin' Night here on Thursday night, my Stampin' Party on Sunday & my 'Glitter Gals' GROUP downline meeting update email too!

Nathan & Brayden stopped a bit last night to visit.  Brayden wanted to play with his BIG farming operation set up he has.  I promised him I wouldn't tear it apart- so not sure where I'm going to put my other table for Stampin' Night at- but I'll figure out something!

I just got done walking & am off now to get my family room all put back together & ready for the twins when they walk in the door shortly.  

I am praying the twins are healthy today!   

Tonight we sell 2 whole semi loads of hogs- so it will be a late night on the farm.

OH Hello!!

Hello!  Here it is......the whole card that I gave you a peek at yesterday!  This is just one of the 6 cards that the girls made yesterday at Denise's party!!  

(And yes- those of you that are stamping with me on Thursday night & next Sunday will be making this card too!)

ink:  Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake
supplies:  Big Shot, Ovals Collection Framelits, Flower Trim (rose), Crumb Cake Seam Binding ribbon, Paper Doily, sponges, Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack, Paper Piercing tool, Piercing Mat, glue dots, dimensionals

 NOTES:

• I colored the vanilla flower with a sponge & the Primrose Petals ink.
• I sponged the White Paper Doily with my Crumb Cake ink.  

Those of you that know me very well know there is no way I could put a white Doily on a card with Very Vanilla card stock!!  Sponging it worked out great! 

Denise had an awesome stamping party yesterday!!  We had a big group & had lots of fun!
Great company, great food & great stamping projects- what else could you ask for?
It was a great way to start off my 1st stamping party in 2013!

I think today will be a LONG day!!

Brody got the flu yesterday (vomiting & diarrhea).
And then Drake got it late last night.
Poor little guys!!!
I'm on my way out the door to go to their house to watch them today.

My mom & Aunt Virginia wanted to come visit today, but I told them they had to wait- as don't want them to get sick.  Now pray that the rest of us don't get it.  We all have lots going on this week! 
(me 2 more stamping parties & Deke has 3 meetings, plus selling 2 semi loads of hogs, etc.)

A family friend that we've known for years passed away.  Ed was such a great guy!  (He & his wife are best friends with my Uncle Jerry & Aunt Kathy too.)  His visitation was a tribute to him last night with over 700 people attending.  Over 30 years ago when Deke & I started dating we spent many fun nights at the Oasis in Webster with Ed & his wife Barb, plus Barb, James, Regina & John.  All of these couples were several years older than us, but we sure enjoyed hanging out with them!!

I had a great time with Cindy & Brittany on Saturday to work on Brittany's wedding invites.
They are very simple, but very elegant- Basic Black, Real Red & Very Vanilla with a monogram on the front!  I love helping friends design & create their wedding invitations!

'OH, Hello'!

Good morning!  

Here is a peek at a card that I'll be doing at my January classes!! We are doing this one at Denise's party today!! 

Denise has a lot of friends coming today to stamp with us.  I'm looking forward to sharing!  

I still have lots of cutting to do!  So will share more about this card tomorrow!

'Hearts A Flutter'

HI!

I wanted to show you a card that I created last night using 'Hearts a Flutter'!

This is a card that everyone coming to stamp with me this coming week will be making!

supplies:  Big Shot, Adorning Accents embossing folder, Postage Stamp punch, Small Heart punch, 1 3/8" Square Punch, Simply Scoring Tool, glue dots, dimensionals, Melon Mambo Striped Organdy ribbon

 This is a different fold.....you can't tell from the photo though.

But the top part flips up & the bottom part flips down.

It is simple & cute!

Busy day here....

• meeting with a friend this morning to help her & her daughter figure out wedding invites
• working on cards for my workshop tomorrow
• suppose to go to a surprise BD party tonight- but don't think I'll be done enough to be able for us to go
• I have LOTS of card stock to cut!
• And a few more cards to create!

Last year my New Years Resolution was to post a new card idea every day on my blog.

AND I did just that!

So this year it is to walk at least 2 miles on the treadmill every day- so off I go!
