Wow- I made this simple sympathy card using the 

'In The Country' stamp set.

This is a Sale-a-bration choice & FREE with a $50 product order.

I love this stamp set......as it reminds me of scenes I see each day 

living in the country on a farm. 

 

I thought that this stamp set just made the perfect sympathy card.

Check out how I did a split layer behind the stamped country scene image.

And I added a strip of card stock that was embossed with the 

Timber 3D Embossing Folder underneath it.

Best Day

Well.....when I first saw this stamp set I loved everything about

it EXCEPT for this cat inside the cupcake.

So last night I decided I was going to make a card using this 

cat/cupcake image for today's blog post.

AND so what do you think of the cat/cupcake card?

I honestly think that this card turned out pretty darn CUTE!!!

I really like it!

Check out how I stamped the cupcake liner again onto another 

piece of Basic White card stock.  

I then colored it with my Stampin' Blends, fussy cut it out with scissors

 and accordion fold (pleated) it on the lines.

I popped it up with dimensionals & layered it over the top of the 

cupcake liner that the cat is in, that is stamped directly onto the stitched circle.

WOW-

It by adding this popped up cupcake liner- 

it gave the whole card a different look & feel!

In person it is really noticeable & is just so stinkin' cute!

We used to have a big farm tomcat that was yellow & white- 

so I tried to make this cat look like him.

This cat now just makes me smile!

And I hope it does you too!

This is fun easel card using the 'Country Bouquet' bundle!

  Look how I did a weave under the hearts!

When weaving the card stock pieces, my glue dots became my best friend.

I started out weaving the strips like this.

I used the Dots & Spots Die.

A Cupcake with the Share a Milkshake Bundle

 Oh wow- what a fun card this is!

 

I used some NEW Spring Mini Catalog products.

Check out how I got the bottom of the cupcake.

I stamped this image on a 1 1/2" strip of Basic White card stock

and then fussy cut it out with scissors.

I adhered the 2 'scoop' layers from the 'Milkshake' stamp set on top of it. 

I added Wink of Stella onto the 2 scoops!

This is a fun z fold card.....
