Friendly Hello

The DSP is the star of this show! 

Isn't it to pretty!

It is bright & cheery with many colors in it!

I used the 'Friendly Hello' stamp set & coordinating Friendly Hello DSP! 

These SAB items come together as a bundle.

I stamped the flowers onto Pale Papaya card stock, using 

Pale Papaya ink & then used some Wink of Stella over them so that they sparkle!

For the leaves I stamped them onto Granny Apple Green card stock

using Granny Apple Green ink.

AND THEN I FUSSY CUT THEM ALL OUT using my scissors.

*Sorry that there isn't a die or punch to coordinate with these.

Sweet Talk Valentines card

Check it out.......

This is a fun Valentines card whipped up real quick for a class last weekend.

 

I used the Sweet Talk DSP,  Sweet Conversation stamp set 

& the Dotty Hearts Embossing Folder.

I used non-traditional colors of Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape.

I chose the Hearts Punch Pack for my center focal point.

The words & prints on this DSP worked perfectly for this.

Grove Dies

 

WOW!

Check out these awesome silhouette cards!! 

I used the NEW Grove Dies!

And the gorgeous NEW Horizons DSP!

I cut this 6x6" DSP into 3 x 5" pieces to make my cards.

Look at all of the options!

 

To coordinate with the colors in the DSP I chose base card color pieces of- 

Misty Moonlight, Evening Evergreen, Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive.

 This is what the piece looks like when layered with the DSP behind it.

 

NOTICE how the top of the trees are cut off.

WHY DID I DO THIS?

I chose to do this as I wanted to get 2 pieces of DSP out of one 6x6" piece,

as this is a card everyone attending my January stamp classes will be making.

I then layered this onto a piece of 3 1/4 x 5 1/4" piece of Black Card Stock 

& adhered it to my card front.

Aren't these just gorgeous!!

Which color do you like the best?

This card base is Rich Razzleberry.

 This card base is Old Olive.

Love & Happiness Bundle

Wow!

This is an awesome new bundle in the Spring Mini.

It is called the 'Love & Happiness Bundle'- pg. 11.

The stamp set has 15 different set of words in it.

AND then there is a Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies!

The cool thing about this is that you can cut out the heart & emboss it at the same time!

 

NOTE: To make this card I die cut the heart out of the center of 

the Gold Foil 4x4" piece that I layered with.

And then I ran it through the embossing folder. 

But I did die cut out the Smoky Slate heart at the same time I embossed the

Smoky Slate 3 3/4 x 3 3/4" piece.

I then saved the Smoky Slate heart to use on another card.

Sweet Conversations Pop Up Gift Bag Card

 This is a fun Valentines pop up gift bag card!

I used the Sweet Talk Suite that is on pages 8-10 in the

NEW Spring Mini catalog.

Just slid off the belly band & open it up the card.

This is what the card looks like completely opened up.

 

Check out the little gift bag on the inside that pops up!

Cute huh!

It is made out of DSP & is perfect for cash or a gift card, 

or a small gift of some type.

 

You can CLICK HERE to see another pop up gift bag card!

 

There is no true "bottom" to this gift bag.

The bottom flaps of the gift bag butt right up to the fold of the card.

Adhere the bag as shown in this photo.

Just remove this piece of Tear & Tape that is on the bag

& SHUT THE CARD!

The gift bag will then be secured directly in the fold of the card.

See what the bottom of the gift bag looks like when  it is all stuck down. 

Notice how the slit in the bottom of the gift bag 

is directly in the center fold of the card.  

This is the pattern I used with DSP to make

the pop gift gift bag.

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'Sweet Conversations'

card stock:

• Real Red- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 2 1/4" & 7 3/4"- this is the card base- emboss the 2 1/4" with the Gingham Embossing Folder.
• Real Red- 1 x 11"- score at 3 1/4 & 7 5/8" for belly band.  Secure this with Tear & Tape.  Do not fold tightly around the card- make sure you can slide it off.  You don't want it too tight or too loose! 
  
• Real Red- 1 1/4" strip- die cut hearts
• Basic White- 3/4 x 4"= put on front of belly band & stamp words onto
• Basic White- 4 x 4 3/4"- for inside center of card- stamp words onto & add die cut hearts
  
• Basic White- 2 1/2 x 4'- for lower inside of card- added die cut hearts

• 3 x 4"- for bottom front of card
• 4 x 9 1/2"- for inside pop up gift bag- score as shown in the above photo/pattern
