Santa is on his way......

Here is a cute card made with the set- 'A Cozy Christmas'.  Check out Santa & his reindeer.....they are on there way!  This was a card that someone at Founders shared in our hospitality room.  I love the detail on it.  The bright moon, the red home, the designer paper, washi tape & big button!  This showcases alot of product in the outgoing Holiday Catalog!
+++++++

I helped Deke outside with the piggies yesterday morning.  I then spent the rest of the day trying to catch up on my SU! things.  I had hoped to get to "play" with some new products.  I did use a new Sale-a-bration stamp set & made a cute & simple Anniversary card for Amanda & Steve.  As yesterday was their 7th Anniversary!  Wow- they are a very special couple and we couldn't be more proud of them!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & he'll head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to go pick up my boys.  Trey is still sick.  And now Masen is too!  Gosh.....we just can't win around here.  I think Brody is the only one left now to get sick.  But first the rest of everyone needs to get healthy.  Wow- what a whirl wind we've had the past month with sickness.

I hope to work on more SU! bookwork & hopefully get to stamp some tonight......

Wishing you a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

A Santa Suit Gift Card!

Here is a fun Santa's Suit Gift Card holder that I made.  It is perfect to give to anyone on your list!  Isn't it cute!  I used the Envelope Punch Board for this.
Here is how the gift card fits perfectly in the inside.

Measurements:
4 1/4 x 11" Real Red CS- score at 2 1/4" & 7 3/4"
On the top half of card, using the Envelope Punch Board- make a notch on each  end at 1 1/2".

Basic Black CS Belly Band- 1 x 9 1/4"- score at 2 1/2" on each end,  wrap around the card & attach it- having it line up with the pocket you've created for the gift card/money.

Belt Buckle- Chalk Talk framelit with Silver Glitter Paper
1" Basic Black Square
3- 3/4" Basic Black Circle Punches (for buttons)
The little notches I made with the Envelope Punch Board are what gets tucked in under the Belt Buckle (which is attached to the black belt with dimensionals so that it is 'free').

Yesterday Masen spent the day wtih G'ma.  We had a fun time!  He doesn't like being alone...... obviously he is use to a house full of others to help keep him occupied!  I didn't ever get far from his sight.

Last night Deke & I went to Ottumwa to do our Christmas shopping for the boys.  We went out for supper & used the gift certificate that Nathan & Sarah got us for Christmas last year.  When we got home I wrapped presents.

Our family sponsored another local family this year through our county's CPC.  Our 3 older boys know that they they are sharing some of "their Christmas money" with 3 other little boys & a 1 little girl that is their age this year.  We have never done this before.  It was cool to hear the excitement in our boys when we told them we were going to be doing this.  Now it will be fun for them to see what our family is giving to them too.

Today I'll be home & I'll be a farmer & help Deke out on the farm this morning.  This afternoon /evening I hope to get caught up on piles of stamp stuff that I need to get done.  My box of pre-order things from the New Occasions Catalog arrived on Friday!  I haven't had time to open it up yet..... but I plan to get it opened up today & find a little time to "play" with some new products before I go to bed tonight!!

I hope you have a  SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

Poor little Trey is sick now......we just can't seem to win around here.  Nathan, Sarah & Brayden are all finally feeling better.  I think that Brody & Masen are the only 2 left to get sick.

Last night we finally got our Christmas tree put up.  Deke worked late on the farm, but thankfully helped me put up the tree & decorate it too when he got in.

I'm home all day today & Masen will be here to keep me company!  I hope I get some things caught up around the house.

Then tonight Deke & I are planning to go Christmas shopping & I hope I can talk him into eating supper out too, as we have a gift certificate that Nathan & Sarah bought is for Christmas last year that we need to get used.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a busy day!  We were on the go the whole day.  The boys were great & had fun outside with us & our new baby piggies.  Then last night we had an appointment in Oksy & didn't get home until about 10.  We burnt the midnight oil working on farm bookwork.

Manda has an early meeting today, so I'm off early to pick up all of my boys.  We'll take Brayden to school & then head out to our home for the day.  Deke is gone all day to Ottumwa for meetings.  Tonight I hope that Deke is in from the farm at a decent hour & we can get our Christmas tree up!  As soon as the boys leave I'll move the furniture & dig out our ornaments!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!

A beautiful poinsettia card!

Check out this beautiful poinsettia card.  I love this!!  The music in the background, the embossing folder- everything about this card is just beautiful!

This card was on a display board at Susan Adams when I was in Utah & at her house in September.  So either she or Janet Baker are probably the creator of it.

We had Santa at our house last night!  How fun!!  The boys were so excited!!  I posted a photo of them all with him last night- so scroll on down to check it out!

Last night I burnt the midnight oil working on farm bookwork.  Tonight we have our farm pre-tax appointment.  I will be soooo glad when I'm done with that.  I can then begin to think about Christmas.  I hope we can get our tree up this weekend & we need to go Christmas shopping too!

This morning I'm off to pick up my boys!  Trey has his 1 1/2 year dr appointment so Steve is going to take him to that.  And we get baby piggies again.....so it is going to be another busy day!  Masen gets to go out on the farm for the 1st time!  I'll put him in the stroller & he & the twins will be with Deke & I all morning being little farmers!

I hope you have a very special Thursday!
Happy Stamping!

Last night I worked on farm bookwork & ended up watching a Hallmark movie with Deke-  which was sooo nice, as I never sit down long enough to do anything like that!!

I'm off & running this morning to pick up boys.  Deke is headed to the office for the day.  Tonight all of our kids/grandkids will be here for supper!  We are having a visit from Santa tonight!  And so we have some very excited little boys!  Hopefully I get some cute pictures of them to share with all of you here.
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

This weeks- "WEEKLY DEALS"- December 15-21, 2015!

This little PIGGY!

This little PIGGY was made & given to me from my dear friend Sherry Peters.  She is a demonstrator friend that lives in Oklahoma.  Deke & I treasure our time we get to spend with & her husband Mike each year on our Stampin' Up! trips.  And I try to get on Facebook once in awhile to check in on them too.

I thought this punch art pig was perfect to share with you today as we have about 500 little baby piggies arriving at our farm this morning!  I have 3 VERY excited little boys that can't wait to get to go out to help Papa & play with the baby piggies.

This little treat holder was made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Isn't it just adorable!!

Brayden was here a bit after school last night- so I was very happy to get to see him!  Then last night I burnt the midnight oil working on farm bookwork.  Deke worked late outside on the farm & then he surprised me with an early Christmas gift.  I finally got a new kitchen faucet!  For those of you that come to our home know my old kitchen faucet was like driving a 5 speed car.  You could move it straight back & then to the left or right only when in the back position to get water & then straight down to shut it back off again.  Not very many people could ever get water to come out of it.  It was that way from the first time we installed it new about 8 years ago.  So I was excited & happy to get a new one!  And I gladly helped him hold things to help him get it installed.

This morning I'm off to pick up all of my boys.  We'll take Brayden to school & then head out to our home with the other boys.  My mom & Aunt Virginia are coming down to our home the morning to stay with Masen & the other 3 boys & I'll be heading outside to the barn to help Papa with the little piggies.

Late this afternoon Deke & I have an appointment in Osky with our banker.  We'll then come home & I'll work on bookwork again all night & Deke will help me sort & file all of our 2015 receipts for the farm.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

This designer paper is called Birthday Bouquet and the words are from the stamp set called- 'Birthday Blooms'- which I've already shared several cards with you using this new set the past couple of weeks.

I had a great time at my 2 calendar classes creating with everyone that joined me yesterday!  It was a fun day of stamping!!  Dixie was a great hostess with lots of yummy foods & wonderful help!   Plus my other 2 assistants are a God sent too to me each month, and I know I couldn't do it all without Ruth & Sandy being there to help me.  I look forward to seeing this group of stampers again in January!

This morning I'm off to pick up the boys and Deke is off to his weekly board meeting. Tonight after work I'll be finalizing yesterdays parties & working on farm book work.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!

This was a card someone shared in our hospitality room at Founders.  I'm sorry I haven't shared photos of things I've created with you lately, but I just haven't had time to take pictures of them & get it done.  I will get caught up towards the end of this week hopefully!  This month has been crazy busy, plus the flu bug.....I'm ready for things to slow down & for everyone to be healthy again.

Yesterday I spent several hours working on entering my farm books into my Quicken account.  We have a farm pre-tax appointment this week & I have tons to get done for that.  I then burnt the midnight oil cutting cardstock for today's 2 calendar classes......so it was a long day & a short night.

I'm off early this morning for my 2 calendar classes.  It will be late tonight when I get home.  But I'm looking forward to seeing everyone & having them make calendars for Christmas gift with me.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a very special Sunday!!

Well.....Manda was still sick yesterday so she & her boys stayed at their home.  It was just Masen & me.  Deke ended up getting it too.  So 4 of us have had it now.....and hope the others don't get it.  And hope the rest of us are back to 100% soon.  I can tell you that I haven't had the flu this bad for several years.  And we all got the flu shot too.

I finally was starting to feel a little better last night.  I got the last Christmas card kits all cut, some gift card holders made & some gift certificates too.  I was hoping to get to bed early, but that didn't happen.

I'm off early this morning to go pick up all of the boys.  We'll take Brayden to school & then head out here for the remainder of the day.  I'm hoping the weather is nice enough that we can get our ice cicle lights up on the front of the house & put my pine swag on our porch.

Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil cutting card stock for my calendar classes I have on Sunday.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!

An ELEGANT Ornament!

Wow- check out this pretty ornament card!!  It is just beautiful!  It was on the display board at Susan Adams stamp studio when I was in St. George, Utah for Founders in September.  I'm sure that either Susan or Janet Baker created it.  It is just very elegant!  They are both amazing stamping sisters!

Oh.....I am now sick.....whatever everyone else has been passing around has now hit me.  And I do not have time to be sick. I feel a little better this morning.  And am off to pick up the boys here soon.

A very dear family friend- Elmer Greiner- passed away & his visitation is tonight.  Deke & I were hoping to attend it....Deke might have to go alone tonight.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!
