A snowflake card holder

Check out this snowflake card holder.  You can see the one I did with leaves on it  HERE!
stamp set: 'Flurry of Wishes'
card stock:  Pool Party, Whisper White
ink:  Pool Party, Smokey Slate
other:  White Organza Ribbon, Silver Cord, Snow Flurry Punch

Measurements:
  • 8 1/2 x 11" card stock
  • score in the middle at 5 1/2"
  • score 2 1/4" along bottom
  • fold up the 2 1/4" to form a pocket
  • I did "V" the center bottom 2 1/4" a little so that it wasn't as bulky when folded.
  • I did not use any adhesive.
  • I used a ribbon belly band that will slide on & off to hold it shut.
Here is is opened up with cards & envelopes in it.
I've posted all of these cards previously over the past 2-6 weeks.  This set was one of my Holiday Extravaganza projects from my class last month.

We had a fun day with our family yesterday for Thanksgiving!  It is always fun to see big & little cousins together.  Everyone was there yesterday but one niece & one nephew.

Last night was a cold & wet night on the farm.  I can honestly say we've loaded hogs in lots of bad weather before- but the rain & cold combo last night was awful!  We were both soaked clear through & freezing by the time we got in the house.  I made a cup of hot chocolate for us & then had a hot shower to try to warm up.

Today I have the day off of work from my normal daytime job.  I actually think I'll be home alone for a change.  I will be catching up on farm bookwork & piles of things that I'm behind on.  I need to run to the bank & stop to get a few groceries too.  I hope to get alot accomplished today as I have lots of stamping I need to get done this weekend too.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!

Last night I spend my evening cooking food to take for our Thanksgiving Dinner.  I made 2 batches of homemade noodles (that was requested last weekend by 3 of my nephews).  I use my Grandma Coxes  recipe & they are yummy!

Today we are going to my sister Beckie & Dan's for lunch with all of our familes.  Then we'll head home to work on the farm.  I'll be a farmer helping Deke this afternoon/evening.  We sell 2 semi loads of hogs tonight- so it will be a late night outside.....and in the rain to top it off!

Wishing you all a very special day this Thanksgiving Day!!

May we all count our blessings!  I know I have alot to be very thankful for.  And my many friends that I stamp with are definitely on my thankful list!  I treasure each of you!!

Happy Stamping!

A Christmas Gift Card!

Check out this cute gift card holder.  This was one my Holiday Extravaganza projects from my big class last month.
You put the gift card in the front pocket & a note in the back pocket.

Notice the pretty red vellum paper & red foil paper too!
Here is the note card I made that goes in the back pocket.

Last night Deke, me & the boys went to Uncle Jerry & Aunt Kathy's to visit my Uncle Joe & Aunt Diane that are home from Georgia.  It is always wonderful to get to see them!

Gosh......G'ma is a busy beaver with little ones day/night this week!  Brayden & Masen are staying with us while Sarah & Nathan are gone on their honeymoon.  And then the other 3 boys are here each day while Manda & Steve work.  Masen did sleep all night last night!!  Wow....that was great for all of us!!!

We're off to pick up the 3 Seeley boys & take Brayden to school.  Tonight I'm a farmer helping Deke.  Steve is going to help us too- as we have a bunch of outside hogs to sort & it goes much faster & easier with 3 of us doing it.  Manda is coming out to stay here with Masen & their boys, then we'll all eat supper together later for a belated birthday supper for Manda.  I'm gonna try to get a pot of soup made this afternoon (Manda requested my homemade cheesy potatoe soup) so hopefully it will be ready for us when we get in.

I hope to get caught up on a bunch of emails, orders & piles of bookwork before I go to bed tonight.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

We had a super busy & amazing weekend with family celebrating Nathan & Sarah's marriage.  Brayden has stayed with us the past couple of days/nights & will stay with us again tonight.  Aunt Kathy will pick him up after school & we'll go get him & visit my Uncle Joe & Aunt Diane from Georgia that are back to Iowa visiting.

Masen stayed with his other g'ma the past 2 nights- but I'll go meet her later today & he'll be staying with us the next 3 days/nights until Nathan & Sarah get home from their honeymoon.

So I'm up early this morning to get my walk in & Brayden & I will head to town to pick up the 3 Seeley boys.  We'll take Brayden to school & then head back out to our house for the day.

Deke is off to chore early this morning & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Monday!

It is a winter wonderland with lots of snow here that we got last night.  Traveling home from rehearsal supper was not fun- but thankfully everyone made it home safely.

Today is the day!!  It is Nathan & Sarah's big day!!  Woo Hoo!

Yesterday was a busy day with decorating, picking up wedding dresses & tuxes, cooking all of the food for rehearsal supper, etc.

Today is full of finalizing things...first off is to get the wedding programs done.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!

Last night was a late night on the farm & then in the kitchen.  Thankfully I have an amazing husband that helps me.  (Guess I have to help him, so he has to help me!)

This morning Deke will be on the farm most of the day.  He is in charge of watching the potatoes & coming in to stir them.  I'm off to pick up Sarah's wedding dress & the other dresses that Sharlene altered for us.  I'll then pick up my rolls & head to Fairfield to decorate the Convention Center.  I'll head back home to meet up with Brayden & Deke & we'll all head back to Fairfield with a car full of food for rehearsal supper.

The girls left early this morning to go get their nails done.  And the guys all took the day off to stay home with their boys so that G'ma has a day off to get to help with the wedding festivities.

WOW!  How blessed we are that Sarah will offically be part of our family tomorrow!  We think the world of her & am so happy for her & Nathan!  They make a perfect pair.  Gosh- we have a VERY BUSY next couple of days & I pray that everyone enjoys it & it turns out to be a perfect day!

It sounds like we could have some nasty weather too today & tomorrow.  I pray that we don't get any ice & that everyone stays safe!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!

Last night after the boys were all gone Deke & ran to town to pay for the tuxes.  We then headed to Osky to eat a quick bite & get all of the groceries for the wedding rehearsal.  It was about 10:30 when we got home & we had to put everything away.

This morning I headed out early to pick up the boys.  Deke is working on farm all day today (with no meetings- yeah) & he is trying to catch up on grinding feed & things here.

Tonight when the boys leave I'm headed outside to be a farmer!  I'll help Deke with the pigs & then we sell some hogs tonight too.  When we get in we are going to be cooking up a storm!!  We have several pans of Oreo Dessert to make.  And then we'll also mix up a couple big crock pots of cheesy potatoes.  I will make the other food tomorrow.  Thankfully my dear friend Karen is cooking all of the pork loins for us & she is coming down to take care of things while we are at rehearsal!  (BLESS HER!)

Off I go......
I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!
