Here is a cute little witches hat that is a box!!

Good morning!
Here is another treat that everyone joining me tomorrow for my
Halloween Treats class will be making.
It is a box that is in the shape of a witches hat.
Cute huh!
cs:  Basic Black, Silver Glimmer Paper
Witches Brew Designer Paper
supplies: Curly Label punch, 1" Square punch, 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta ribbon, Paper Snips, dimensionals, Simply Scored Tool
other:  Crop A Dile (Retired) to make hole to tie box shut

Measurements:
Basic Black CS- 4 1/4 x 11- score at 5 1/2", then on end lightly mark at 2 1/8".
Then score diagonally from the center score marks.

This is what it will look like when you are done scoring it.

Brim of Hat= Basic Black CS- 7 x 1" & cut diagonally from the corner to the hat.

DP band- 4 x 1", attach & bend around the box.

I used demensionals to attach the Curly Label "buckle" with the 1" square punch in the center of it.

Our little man got to come spend the night with us last night- so we've had a fun time!!
He hasn't been here for awhile & we were both missing each other.
That also means I didn't get much card stock cut since he was here- but I will get it done tonight.
Brayden is farming with Papa this morning- so he is thrilled about that.

I'm off early this morning to the Quad Cities to stamp all day!
Can't wait!!
Then when I get home tonight I'll be back in my stamp room cutting card stock all night!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

Here is a CUTE Halloween Treats Box!

Good morning!
Wow- is it really Friday already?
Where did this week go?

Here is a cute little Halloween box that everyone at my Halloween Treats class
will be making on Sunday!
Wait until you see how easy it is to make.
It is a one sheet wonder box!
Totally awesome!
'Toile & Trouble'
cs:  Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla
ink:  Pumpkin Pie & Versarmark
dp:  Witches Brew
supplies:  Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch, Heat & Stick powder, embossing buddy, Heat Tool, Black Glitter, dimensionals, glue dots, bone folder, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Basic Black 3/4" Chevron ribbon
How did I make the box??
Use one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock.
1.  Using your Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score on the short side at 2 1/2" & 6".
2.  Turn sheet of cardstock  & score the long side at 4 1/2" & 6 1/2".
3.  Prefold along score lines several times both ways so that the box will come together easier.

4.  Using the Diagonal Scoring Plate- make a diagonal line from all 4 corners of the rectangle box bottom, to the outside edge of the card stock.
5.  Use a bone folder to really make the diagonal folds "sharp" and easier to fold the sheet into a box.

6.  Stamp your cardstock if you desire.
7.  Prefold the box by bringing the diagonal folds towards the box center.
(I did use a little adhesive & glue dots to stick my box together-
although you wouldn't have to.)
8.  Decorate your box as desired.
9.  Use a hole punch to add ribbon holes in the top center of the back panel of the box.
10.  Thread ribbon through the holes & tie to hold your box shut.

Woo Hoo......your box is complete!

I will be enjoying my day today with the boys!
They love being outside playing on these awesome fall days.
I don't know what we are going to do when it is too cold out this winter.
Deke is busy on the farm today getting ready for our new baby piggies that we get
next Tuesday & Thursday!
Tonight I'll be cutting away getting ready for my Halloween Treats class.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

Here is another Halloween Treat project!

Good morning!
Here is another Halloween Treats project!
This is a 5x7 project using the Holiday Catalog set-
'Halloween Bash' & Witches Brew Designer Paper with lots of different punches!
(Note:  The frame isn't included with the class.)

I had a fun day with all of my boys yesterday!
Brayden got to come out after school, played, ate supper with us & then went home.
I hadn't seen him for ever- so that was a treat!

Then last night Deke & I went to the visitation of a friend- Dick Danner.
I've known him & his wife (Ruth Ann) most of my life & have many fond memories spending time at their fabric/clothing store, riding with him in parades & just hanging out.
He was a good friend of my dads too.
And he worked with me at CPS (Crop Production Services) years ago driving a truck,
when I was their Administrative Assistant.

Ok.....I got my Christmas swaps done last night for my Go Diva's group- so they are in the mail today.
Yipee- I will post it next week for you to see.

Tonight after work I have to run to Osky to deposit a hog check & get groceries
& things for my class this weekend.
Then I am home to cut card stock for my class.

I hope you have a BLESSED day!

Happy Stamping!

Here is another 'Halloween Treats project.......

Good morning!!
Happy Hump Day!
Here is another project that everyone attending my 'Halloween Treats' class will be making.
Check out how I used the word window punch to make a holder for a little candy bar.
AND
Don't you love the cute little belly band that goes around this!
I love the Witches Brew Washi Tape!
And notice how these punches coordinate with this stamp set!

'Halloween Hello'
cs:  Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black & Very Vanilla
ink:  Black Stazon
supplies:  Witches Brew Washi Tape, Word Window Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval punch, dimensionals, glue dots, Basic Black 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Sticky Strip

Measurements:
Pumpkin Pie cs= 9 3/4" x 2 3/4"
score at 2", 2 3/8", 5 7/8" & 6 1/4"
Using word window punch, make hole approx. 1 1/2" up.
Using Sticky Strip to adhere it down.

Belly Band= 3/4" x 7"
score at 2 1/4", 2 1/2", 5 1/4" & 5 1/2"
Fold on score lines, put around the treat holder & using Sticky Strip- put band together
LOOSELY so that it can slip off of the bottom.

I got my idea for this project from my dear demonstrator friend Julie Davison.
She posted a Halloween Treat last year on her blog & I loved it!
So I saved it in my ideas folder & knew I would use it sometime.

I am still playing catch up from being gone last week & behind in everything.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!
