HI!
This is a baby card that we did at my STYC last month. I wanted to share way to create different borders using our border punches!
Note: The polka dots were created using the sponge daubers & different colors of ink pads.
'Easy Events' & 'Teeny Tiny Wishes'
cs: Certainly Celery, Whisper White
ink: Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink
markers: Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, So Saffron
supplies: (old style)- Scallop Edge Border punch, word window punch, Large oval punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, dimensionals
Brayden & Papa Deke got the swing set added onto yesterday for all of the boys to get to enjoy this summer!! My friends daughter, Avery was here last night for a bit & she had fun playing on it. It was too windy out yesterday for the twins to be outside. HOPEFULLY today it will be nice enough for them to get to swing some.
I still have lots of flowers I need to get planted sometime- hopefully sooner than later so I don't kill them before they are planted! Hopefully I can keep them alive until next Tuesday.
We have a busy weekend ahead of us. I need to get Nathan & Deke's hair cut tomorrow morning; we go racing (tonight in Columbus Junction & Sunday night in Vinton); we have several graduation parties which we probably won't get to any except to my cousins daughters party (Lindsey) in Central City. We are looking forward to seeing some family members that we don't get to see very often; AND YIPEE- I have a stampin' workshop too on Sunday in Hiawatha!! I need to cut more card stock for this workshop yet, as we have a big group coming & I didn't cut enough ahead of time.
I am looking forward to enjoying some of the beautiful weather outside.
Happy Friday! Hope you have a fabulous weekend.
Enjoy!
Happy Stamping!

NEW STUFF.......here is a sneek peak!!!
HI!
Ok.......do you see some new products on this card?
I'm LOVIN' the new embossing folders. Here is a new one called- Fancy Fan Folder. It leaves a deep impression. I actually have this one turned back side out, so that the impressions are debossed instead of embossed!
'Papaya Collage' & 'Curly Cute'
cs: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede & Certainly Celery
ink: Soft Suede
supplies: Big Shot, Fancy Fan embossing folder, 3/8" Taffeta Soft Suede ribbon, sponge, basic pearls, glue dots, dimensional, paper snips (to cut out the butterfly)
Yesterday was a busy day. We started our day off by getting 515 head of new baby piggies delivered & all moved into their new home here. (The other half of them come tomorrow morning,) Then last night the Deke & Josh worked in the shop on the race car. Manda & I planted flowers at her house. Her window flower boxes were beautiful when we got done!!! The flowers we used were a couple of different shades of purple, mambo pink, white & yellow, along with some spikes & springery.
We will see how today goes & maybe I can get some of my flowers planted here.
Aunt Kathy went to Kalona to the flower sale yesterday & got some beautiful flowers!! I'm so happy she shared with us. (She knows I've been wanting to get down there & just haven't been able to go yet.)
Papa Deke has been working on making our big wooden swing set even bigger- so that that we can add a tire swing that we got Brayden for his birthday & of course this year we need to add 2 baby swings too for the twins. Think we got it figured out tonight on how he is going to attach everything to the already existing set to make it all work. Can't wait for it to be done. I know the boys will all have fun playing on it.
Aunt Virginia gave us a hard swimming pool with a slide & turtle sand box too. We have the sand! So now to get it all set up so they can have more things to play with here.
Tonight we race in Osky. Hope Nathan has good luck. It should be a beautiful night to be sitting outside in the grandstands. Go 52!!
Hope you have a great day!!!
ENJOY!

NEW products- coming soon.......
HI!
There are LOTS of NEW products coming soon....... on June 1st in the NEW CATALOG!
WAHOO!!!!
Check out these cute cards!
These are cards that I made for my downline meeting that I had on Saturday.
Oh my gosh........you are going to LOVE SO MUCH in this new catalog.
Be sure to join me for one of my New Catalog Open Houses in June.
You won't want to miss out on all of the fun & excitement.
I'll share more about these cards in the coming days.
I am in several swaps this month with demonstrator friends & will use some of these cards for those swaps so that I don't have to reinvent the wheel.
Notice the new colors, new stamp sets, new ribbon, new framelits & new designer paper.
This morning we get new baby piggies in, so I'm off now to be a farmer for a few hours & help Deke. The twins will be here later, after we get the baby piggies unloaded, sorted & in their new home. Luckily it worked out for Steven to keep the twins for awhile this morning for me.
Tonight after work my demonstrator friend Nicole & her daughter, Avery, are coming to visit me.
I am looking forward to seeing them. :)
I hope you all have a fabulous day! It is going to be a nice one out.
ENJOY!
Happy Stamping!

The twins.......
Here are pictures of Brody & Drake eating watermelon for the first time.
Brody loved it & as you can tell by Drakes face he wasn't sure if he liked it or not. They are just starting to eat 'real' food & Brody loves it all & Drake is rather picky.
*Notice their cute Mickey Mouse outfits that Brayden picked out for them when we were at Disney.
Hugs!

More photos from Disney.......A MAGIC SHOW!
Each night on the Boardwalk at Disney (right outside our hotel room)- there was a magic show.
Brayden has quite the sense of humor & really laughed at this guy. So after the show the guy came over & visited with us. After he got all of his stuff packed up I asked him if he would care if we got some pictures of him with Brayden. So here they are goofing off!! Too cute!!

Sweet cheeries.....
HI! Happy Friday!!
I had a FUN night of stamping last night with several friends. We are saying good-bye to many of my favorite stamp sets!! Everyone seemed to really like the cards! Have to hurry & get all of my tables, chairs & things picked up now before all of my kids get here. I didn't get that all done last night, as I placed orders & then went to bed.
It is a busy day here at our house! The Yates triplets (they will be 5 yrs next month) are coming to visit us this afternoon while their mom goes to work. So we will have a house full today!! Brayden is just going to be here a short time this morning & then he gets to spend the day with his other grandma, grandpa & uncle Bryce.
Here is another card that we did at my STYC. The technique on this card is called plaid background. It is created by inking the inside top of the stripes embossing folder using the brayer putting white card stock into the folder, run it through the Big Shot, ink the folder again, put your card stock back into the folder going the other direction & run it through the folder again!
'Mouth Watering' & 'Sweet Cake'
cs: Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
ink: Basic Black
markers: Melon Mambo & Wild Wasabi
supplies: Big Shot, Stripes embossing folder, 3" circle die, 2 1/2 " circle punch, polka dot Melon Mambo ribbon, glue dot, dimensionals
Tomorrow I have my downline meeting here at our house, which is always a great time! I have LOTS of swaps & shoe box swaps to do tonight for them. I will be burning the midnight oil in my stamp studio!! We will spend the whole day visiting & stamping!! My pre-order of new catalog supplies arrives so can't wait to see them & share with my gals tomorrow & you will get to see them all at my June workshops!! I'm excited to get to try the ink pads with the new material base on them! I heard they are a real WOW!! And then the new In Colors, new embossing folder, new stamp sets, etc....It will be like Christmas when I get to open the box & start playing (creating)!! :)
Have a great day!!

Here are some more pictures of our day at Animal Kingdom!
What a special birthday Brayden had here!

He told the lady that the skin felt like a strawberry.
He is braver than grandma was.
Look at this Giraffe.
Check out these Rhinos!
These are in the elk family- don't remember what they actually are.
This is an Ostrich.
A BIG bear rolling around.
An Elephant.
Such a beautiful place!
CUTE Gorilla huh!
Making a wish- throwing in Keith's change.
I am pretty sure he put change in every wishing well we saw.
We were wishing his grandpa Mark got better & would come home.
Thankfully his wish came true on Tuesday of this week!!! :)
Meeting Rafiki & having him sign Brayden's Disney autograph book.
Rafiki & Brayden- the birthday boy!
Brushing the goats at the petting zoo.

Lovin' this little purse.......
HI!
Tonight I have Stampin' Night at my home. I can't wait to see everyone & stamp! They will be making 7 cards & a Simply Adorned Charm insert!! (There is a bonus card this month for my Disney Trip!)
Today I wanted to share this with you........Here is another card that I did at my STYC. Don't you just love this little purse. It is made using the NEW Petite Purse die. Check out the new Summer Smooches Designer Paper too! These products were a sneek peak in April, but they will be available again on June 1st in the New Idea Book & Catalog!
'You're Cherished' (RETIRING)
cs: Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo
Summer Smooches Designer paper
ink: Island Indigo
supplies: Big Shot, Petite Purse die, Tasteful Trim die, XL Oval punch, 1/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, mini silver brad, dimensionals, glue dot
NOTE: This purse die is actually a mini box. I just cut it down & used the front of it, the flap & the handle so that I could put it on a card. This would make a cute table decoration for a wedding favor. Or it would be adorable for a girls party of any kind!
*I will post the cards from my class tonight after the 20th of this month! I have a workshop in Hiawatha on the 20th & don't want to spoil all of the fun for them!!
ENJOY!!!

Drake is on the left (in the carmel jammies) & Brody is on the right (in the green jammies).
This picture was taken this morning after breakfast & they were clapping & putting on a show. It was hard to get them to sit still. They an get any where they want. They do get on their hands & knees & rock, but don't actually crawl. They roll, army crawl & get where ever they want- believe me!
THANKFULLY- We have 2 very happy/healthy little guys!! What a blessing they are!
A beautiful bouquet of flowers!!!
HI!
With Mother's Day this coming Sunday, I thought this would be a great card to share. This is another one of the cards we did at my STYC last month.

LOVELY DAY.......for 'Lovely As A Tree'
Good morning!
Today is a lovely day to post this card. It is made with one of my all time favorite stamp sets- 'Lovely As A Tree'. I was so happy to see that this set is going to be around again for the upcoming catalog year!
This is one of the cards I did at my STYC last month.
The background is done with the technique called 'wood grain'. I made it using the new Simply Scoring tool.
*Make the lines on your cs with your Simply Scoring tool.
*Take your ink pad & rub it lightly over the top of the card stock.
Super easy! Super fun! Super cool!
Guy cards are sometimes hard to design. This card makes a great guy card. It could also be used as a sympathy card, etc.
'Lovely As A Tree' & 'Teeny Tiny Wishes'
cs: Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Naturals Ivory
ink: Chocolate Chip
supplies: 2 1/2" circle punch, Big Shot, 3" circle die, Crimper (RETIRING), Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, Pastel Chalks (RETIRING), Simply Scoring Tool, sponge, dimensionals
I have all 3 boys again today! Aunt Kathy is going to come get Brayden for awhile so he can help Uncle Jerry mow with tractor/bat wing & do things on the farm.
Hope you have a fabulous day! Be sure to check back tomorrow. :)
Happy Stamping!
