Turtle-y Cute Birthday card

Oh my gosh.......today is Trey's birthday!
He is 11 years old!
How can that be?
We call him turtle- so I couldn't resist making him a turtle card!
Isn't it cute!
 
I used the
#165221- Turtle-y Cute 12x12 DSP= $12.50
I used my Paper Snips Scissors & fussy cut out the turtle, cake, candles, balloon & hat.
Here I added a birthday hat onto the turtle.  
Cute huh!
I love the way this card turned out.
And I can't wait to see what Trey says when he gets it!

stamp set:  'Sweet Jar' (words)
card stock:
  • Garden Green- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
  • Garden Green- 1 x 4 1/4"
  • Real Red- 1 1/2" strip- die cut numbers
  • Real Red- 1/4 x 2 7/8"
  • Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- punch out 2 3/8" circle
  • Basic White- 1/2 x 2 1/2"- stamp words onto & flag ends with Paper Snips Scissors
  • Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card
designer paper:  Turtle-y Cute
  • 2 x 5 1/4"- green turtle shell print
  • 2 x 4"- yellow music print 
  • strips- turtle, cake, balloon, candles- fussy cut out with Paper Snips Scissors
