Happy Father's Day!

Today I am wishing all of the dad's out there a very 

"Happy Father's Day"!

I hope they all enjoy & celebrate on their special day! 

 

For today's card I made some simple cards for the "dads" in our family. 

I hope they like it! 

Check out the Aluminum Foil Tape I embossed & adhered to my card front. 

I bought it at a local hardware store!  

It is already sticky on the back side. 

Isn't this neat!

So you could emboss it with any type of embossing folder.

OR you could even die cut images out of it too! 

 Today is a bitter sweet day!

I'm so thankful & blessed to have these special "dads" in our lives-

Deke, Nathan, Steve & Deke's dad- David. 

And I'm so sad that my dad isn't here any longer for us to celebrate him.

As it was 19 years ago today (yes on Father's Day) that we found my dad dead.

I still miss him tons. 

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't wish he was still here with us.

It was such a great guy!

• Azure Afternoon- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
• Azure Afternoon- 4 1/4" strip- stamp & die cut hammer- cut top of it off & adhere the bottom to the Smoky Slate Hammer base 
• Basic White- 3 1/2" strip- die cut circle from Stylish Shapes Dies
• Basic White- 4 1/4" strip- die cut stitched label banner from Stylish Shapes Die
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card
• Smoky Slate- 4 1/4" strip- stamp & die cut hammer

ink:  Basic Gray
