Cute As Can Bee Center Pop Up

Here is a fun bee card.

It has a center pop up that is so cute!

And check out this adorable bee DSP.

 

This is one of the cards that everyone stamping with me 

at my February monthly classes will be making.

Look how cute these punched out bees are that are on the inside of the card.

These are what the inside pop up looks like when you open up the card!

 

This is how I made the inside pop up.

I used my Paper Trimmer & scored the top of the card down to the center fold.

I have MARKED where I used the lines on my Paper Trimmer.

The top corner point is at the 1" mark.

AND the bottom point is at the 2" mark.

Here is the pattern on how I made the center pop up.

Basic White- 5 1/4 x 8 1/4"- score in half at 4 1/8".

**NOTE that the score line is on the right side of this photo.

Score approx. 2 1/2" from top of card along the center scored card to the top left corner, 

that is about 1 1/2" from the corner.

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp sets:

• Meant to Bee
• Bee My Valentine
  

card stock:

• Pool Party- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
  
• Pool Party- 1 1/2" strip- stamp wings onto & punch out (x2)
  
• Basic Black- 1 x 5 1/2"- diagonally add to card front & then trim ends with Paper Snip Scissors
  
• Basic Black- 3" strip- die cut Hexagon- use just the outside narrow edge (save the center for another project)
  
• Daffodil Delight- 1/2 x 4"- flag ends with Paper Snip Scissors
• Daffodil Delight- 1 1/2" strip- punch out bee body (x2) & stamp stripes onto them
  
• Petunia Pop- 3/4" strip- punch out 3 small hearts
• Petunia Pop- 1 1/2" strip- punch out large heart
  
• Basic White- 5 1/4 x 8 1/4"- score at 4 1/8" & then angle score per pattern shown above for inside of card
  
• Basic White- 1 1/2" strip- stamp inside words onto & punch out with word bubble (bee body)
  
• Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- die cut Hexagon & stamp outside words onto

• 3 x 4"- diagonally cut from lower left corner diagonally to 2" along the right edge
  

ink:  Memento & Pool Party

other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Meant To Bee Dies; Bee Builder Punch; Paper Trimmer; Black & Very Vanilla Ribbon Glue Dots; Paper Snip Scissors; Tear & Tape
