A snowflake candle decoration.......

Good morning!

Yesterday I shared with you the fall candle decoration that was one of my Stamp 'Til You Cramp projects.  Today you can see the winter one we did.

There is no stamping on this project & no card stock.

supplies: Big Shot, Snow Flurry Bigz die, Basic Rhinestone, Cherry Cobbler Tulle Ribbon, glue dots, dimensionals

The metal is aluminum flashing that I bought at Menards in a big roll.
It works great cutting with the Big Shot & our Stampin' UP! (R) dies!

WOOO HOO!!!
I'm off soon to go to Linda's to do a Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack with her & her friends.
We have several new ladies joining us that I've never met before.
They are all making 3 different cards & 2 of each card.
I have never done a workshop like this before.
I'm EXCITED about it & hoping it is a big hit!
I just need to get things packed up & loaded & I'm ready to go!

Tomorrow Andrea is having a workshop.
She too has several friends coming.
They are making 6 cards (one of each).
I have them all created & the supply list is typed up.
Tonight I'll be cutting lots of card stock!
We are doing a neat new fold & some fun techniques.
I can't wait to share with all of these ladies today & tomorrow!

Yesterday Nathan had the day off of school because they had parent-teachers conferences this week.
So he & Brayden stopped in to see the boys & myself on their way to the shop to get some things to go to Des Moines to the motor shop.
Then they stopped back in on their way home & Brayden stayed a couple of hours to play with the twins.
We mixed up Chocolate/Chip Oatmeal cookies & everyone enjoyed warm cookies.
I love having all of my boys here at the same time & it doesn't happen too often any more.

We also had another visitor yesterday......Fred!
Fred is an attorney that I use to work with through my old job.
His wife stamps with me.
I haven't seen him since January when I quit my job, but he stopped to pick up Betty's stamp order & got to see the twins & visit a bit.
We had breaded tenderloins for lunch & I offered him to eat with us.
Gosh- did he miss out!
But it was wonderful to see him- I'm so glad he stopped.
Ok.....gotta jump in the shower & pack up to go!
Have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!
ENJOY!

Good morning!
Happy Friday!

Here is another one of my STYC projects.  We decorated tall vanilla pillar candles for fall.

There is no stamping on this project.  Love it though!  Our daughter is a teacher & it is her month (November) to be hostess for the teachers lounge.  So I made 4 of these candles for her to take as table decorations for their lounge.

supplies:  Autumn Accents Bigz die, Spider Web folder, Square Lattice folder, glue dots, dimensionals, Crumb Cake Tulle
I've been burning the midnight oil again the past few nights.....as I have workshops all weekend.  I had great Mojo last night.....now to get the rest of my projects all created & start cutting.  I'm looking forward to sharing with everyone I'll be seeing.

The boys are ready for breakfast- I'd better get them fed.  They can eat & watch their favorite show "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse"!!  They love the Hot Dog Dance- too cute!

And you will have lots of fun creating with your new stamp sets!

I had a fun day with the twins yesterday.
OH my GOSH- they turned 14 months old....where does time go?
Photo: 14 months already & totally "Batty for Mommy!!" <3
I have to tell you....
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry- as keep my cell phone on the shelf in the family room (3rd one up).
Guess that is too low now, as Brody got my phone while I ran in to go to the bathroom.
He called Nathan & Papa Deke.
Deke sure hurried home from the office, but we had him worried for nothing.
My cell phone is now on the 4th shelf up.
LOL

Last night Nathan & Brayden were here.
It is always great to see them.
Nathan had a bad weekend of racing with rolling his car on the last lap to the checkered flag on Saturday night.
Then  he borrowed a friends car to race on Sunday night.
AND he hit a deer & destroyed the front end of his truck on the way home.
Poor guy!
He has Parent-Teachers Conferences this week- so he text me yesterday & asked if I could cut his hair.
Sure-  a fresh short hair cut, he needed one.
Especially since he is a high school principal, he needs to look good.
(Ok- doesn't that sound like a mom.)
And they got to eat supper with us too- which was great!

Tonight we sell hogs.....when the twins leave I'll change clothes & be a farmer out helping Deke!

My heart aches for all of my friends & family that live in the path of Hurricane Sandy.
They are all in my thoughts & prayers.

Hope you have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!

Wow....... busy day yesterday.  We went campaigning in the morning with my sister (Beckie), brother-in-law (Dan) & Deke- for her running for Keokuk County Auditor position.   Then spent from 2 pm to almost 8 pm cleaning the place I held my STYC at on Saturday.  Man.....it was a mess!  I just walked out the door Saturday night behind the last gals to leave & didn't do any cleaning up.  Glad it is all done now.  Next I have to get all of my supplies/punches/etc put away in it's home in my stamp studio.

    Christmas tree......so cute!

    GOOD MORNING!

WOW- we all survived Stamp 'Til You Cramp!  I think!!  I know I did......but I am telling you I'm tired & sore!!!

What an AMAZING day yesterday was spent with so many friends -old ones & new ones!  I am so happy that so many joined me for a fun filled day of stamping!!!  Everyone went home with TONS & TONS of ideas!  They definitely got their moneys worth!!  I took my camera & was too busy to even think about getting it out & taking pictures.  BUMMER!

Here is a simple card that everyone made yesterday.  This is one of 4 cards made with the awesome set- 'Scensational Season', plus we also made a cute little box that coordinates for them to put them into.  I will post them in the next few days- so stay tuned.

At convention last July Dawn shared this ribbon technique.  She used the Ornament punch.  I thought it was so cool & knew right away that I was going to be sharing her technique with my customers using this set.  This is a simple card.  The gals yesterday had the choice to add embossing folders to theirs if they wanted too & wow- they were beautiful!

    'More Merry Messages'
cs:  Real Red, Gumball Green, Whisper White, Summer Starfruit
    ink:  Gumball Green
supplies:  Big Shot, Holiday Collection Framelits, Gumball Green Stitched ribbon, 1/2" Scallop Dots ribbon, dimensionals

We had a birthday party & a wedding reception last night.   We made it to Mark Sheetz's 60th Birthday Party.  Mark is Brayden's other Papa that had a bad heart attach in May.  We are blessed he is still with us & thrilled that we could all join him in celebrating this birthday party this year.  He is an amzing man & we think the world of him!!!!  I know that Brody & Drake think of him as their Papa Mark too- he is so good with them & we all love spending many nights together each year racing!

We didn't make it to Makenzie & Fletcher's wedding reception.  Sad we didn't.  She too is someone special. When our kids were young I had an in home daycare & Makenzie was one of my little girls.  I'll make her a special wedding card & mail it & their gift to them.

Brayden came home with us tonight to spend the night.  He was one pooped little guy & fell asleep when I was reading his night time books to him.  He had a big weekend with lots of family here for Papa Mark's party.

Nathan raced in Memphis, Missouri last night.  This is my favorite track to go to.  I love racing down there.  I was bummed I couldn't make it.  He won his heat!!  And he was racing in the main for 1st & 2nd with Cook for the lead & got bumped & barrel rolled 4 times.  THANK GOD he is OK!  The car isn't......but they can be fixed or replaced.   I saw a picture of his car this morning.  Good thing I wasn't there.  I would have had a heart attack myself.  It is terrible- here it is.  I think that Nathan had his guardian angel on his shoulder.

We are off soon to do some campaigning with my sister Beckie Appleget that is running for Keokuk County Auditor.  We are headed to Keota to the Fireman's breakfast & then to the Tri-County FFA breakfast.  I will then go clean up & pack up from yesterday's stamp camp.  I'm not looking forward to that......it was a disaster when just walked out the door last night.  I know I'll be there for hours.

I hope you have a great day!!
    Happy Stamping!
    ENJOY!

    Another Circle ''Snow Flurry' card

    Good morning!

Wow.....here is another one of my 'circle Snow Flurry' die cards that we will be doing at STYC.  I posted the other one yesterday.  I didn't realize that the Clear Circle die I used to cut this out with is retired until I went to type up my post yesterday morning......and I can't believe that I did this.  But they are all cut now & so we will still be doing them at my stamp camp anyways.

Well- only a few hours of sleep again last night.  I still have 4 more cards & a box to get cut for STYC.
I hope to get some of that done this morning before the twins get here.
Tonight will be another late night.......but everyone joining me on Saturday is going to LOVE their projects!
As soon as the twins leave tonight Deke & I will go over & set up tables/chairs, etc at the STYC location.
And then we will get food started too & pack everything up.
I will finish cutting whatever I have left before I go to bed tonight.

    A circle SNOW FLURRY!

    Good morning!
Today I want to share a pretty Snow Flurry die (circle) card.
I've been cutting so many beautiful snowflakes out of the Silver Glimmer Paper & just could throw that image away......so this is one of the cards I created with it.
    'Greetings of the Season'
    cs:  Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
    Silver Glimmer 12x12 Paper
     ink:  Elegant Eggplant
supplies:  Big Shot, Snow Flurry Bigz die, 1/2" circle punch, Basic Rhinestones, glue dots, dimensional
This is another one of my Stamp 'Til You Cramp projects.

OPPS......I bet you are wondering how I made the circle.
Well- I used a product that was retired & didn't realize that until I went to type up this post, as I was looking up the name of the product in the catalog to let you know what I used.
I used the Clear Circle die & see- it fit perfectly!
Oh my gosh.....I never do that!!
    I can't believe it- I'm sorry!!
BUT everything is already cut for this card- so we'll be making it anyways.
(And I made another one with a different layout using the same Clear Circle & Snow Flurry dies-which I will post tomorrow.)
I am wondering if the Scallop Circle or the Scallop Square dies that are still available would have worked too.
I'll have to try it sometime & let you know.
    Have a great day!
    Happy Stamping!
