Paper Tags SNEAK PEEK!

Check out this cute card!

 

Here is a sneak peek of some upcoming NEW products

I used a new bundle called 'Paper Tags'!

AND 

Some NEW DSP & a NEW In Color of card stock called Darling Duckling.

You will want to add these to your Wish List!

 

Check out how I made the starburst.....

*I diagonally cut 2 strips that measured 1 1/2 x 4" to get these 4 strips.

*Notice how I adhered them to the card stock.

 

*I then turned the card stock over & using my Paper Snips Scissors,

I cut off the extra DSP that was hanging over the edges.

 

HOW DID I MAKE THE TAG?

*I used Memento Black Ink & stamped it onto Basic White card stock.

*I die cut it

*I then used my Darling Duckling Stampin' Write Marker 

& traced over a couple of the words so that they were 'highlighted'!

*I then added some Wink of Stella over the 'Your Day' banner.

In person it just sparkles!

This is so cute & it is so easy to make!

This is a fun z fold card & looks like this when it is standing up! 

But if you don't want it to be a z fold, it can just be a standard card

by omitting the 2 1/8" score line.

I love it!

I love the way it turned out.

The cool part is that the card will lay flat too & fit perfectly into an envelope.

Happy Hibiscus Bundle Latch Slider card

 WOW!
This is a fun Latch Slider card!

Isn't it so pretty!

 

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me at my

April monthly stamp classes will be making!

 

I made a Latch Slider card a few years ago.

You can CLICK HERE TO SEE THAT CARD/POST! 

This is a gate fold card.

The flowers are attached to a circle latch & they just slide off.

This is what the card looks like when it is opened up! 

 

How did I make the Latch Slider?? 

I used 4 different circles.

*1- Die cut Circle from Spotlight on Nature dies- it is approx. 2 3/4" diameter

*1- 2 1/2" Circle

*2- 2 3/4" Circles- fold these both in half

*You will now adhere the circles all together to make the latch.

Look how I adhered them together.....

 

The 2 circles that are folded in half are attached to the 

2 1/2" Fresh Freesia Circle as shown above.

NOTICE that I over lapped the folded circles over each other just a bit.

You will want to make sure they are over lapped.

If you do not over lap these 2 circles like shown above, 

then you will have a wider gap on your card front.

So it is very important to make sure that they are over lapped.

 

Now you will adhere the other side of the folded white circles to the 

back side of the die cut LARGER Circle.

 

NOW add your flowers & yours leaves to the die cut LARGER Circle.

I suggest that you slide it onto your card when adding these.

As that way you'll get them in the correct spot that you want them.

I added the flowers with dimensionals.

And I added the leaves & the word strip using Glue Dots.

This is a fun fold easel card & looks like this when it is standing up!

Notice how I popped up the little die cut flower on a dimensional.
