Made With Love simple heart card!

It is SIMPLE Saturday!!

Check out today's heart card.

 

This layout is a great way to use up your scraps of DSP. 

 

I used these NEW January-April Spring Mini Catalog products-

 #167054- Made with Love 12x12 DSP= $12.50

#167062- Endless Love Bundle= $47.50

I really like this die cut swirly heart that I used as the center focal point.

 

How did I do it? 

Check out the DSP squares.

They are all 4- 1 1/2 x 1 1/2" each.

I layered them onto a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" Basic White square.

• Poppy Parade- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half
• Poppy Parade- 2 1/2" strip- die cut swirly heart

• Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- punch out using 2 3/8" Circle Punch 
• Basic White- 3/4" strip- stamp words & punch out with Three Banner Punch

• 1 1/2 x 1 1/2"- (x 4 each)
• 1/4 x 3 1/2" strip- under words

Valentines card for Veterans

 Today's card is a simple, yet so cute.

Amanda & I designed this card for our 4-H Club. 

Each year the 4-H kids make Valentines to send to the Veterans.

And this is the card that they made this year!

They made 80 of this card!!

WOW!

Here is a photo of Drake, Trey, Masen & our neighbor boy- Ty.

They are assembling our Red/White & Blue Valentines cards! 

We used some retired wooden stamps & punches when making this card.

 

Here are the measurements.

Thick Basic White- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base

Real Red-  1 3/4 x 4"

Real Red- 2 1/2" strip- punch out big scalloped heart punch

Real Red- 1" strip- punch out 2 small hearts

Night of Navy-  1 3/4 x 4"

Basic White- 3/4 x 5 1/2"- strip across card front

Basic White- 2 1/2" strip- stamp words onto & punch out with big heart punch

Basic White-  3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card
