Simple Saturday with Hobby Haven DSP

It is SIMPLE Saturday!

I used the 

#167201- Hobby Haven DSP= $12.50 Online Exclusive 

When I went to Stampin' Up! Leaders event last November

we did make & take projects one night.

I stamped & gathered the pieces, but I didn't have time to complete them.

So last night I decided I would see what I could create using these pieces.

And I totally changed & added to it- making it my own style. 

 

This is what the card was suppose to look like....but notice how I changed mine! 

I think it turned out super cute- what do you think?

I love the subtle colors & fun block layout! 

 

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'Joyful Squares' (words)

card stock:

• Crumb Cake- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" & fold in half for card base
• Crumb Cake- 2 1/4" strip- punch out using 2" Circle Punch
• Pool Party-4 x 5 1/4"
• Basic White- 3 3/4 x 5"- for card front
• Basic White- 2" strip- stamp words onto & punch out using 1 3/4" Circle Punch
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card 

designer paper:  Hobby Haven DSP-

•  2 1/2" strip of various prints- punch out4 different pieces & adhere them onto card front similar to what I have done as shown above 

ink:  Crumb Cake

other:  Heartfelt Hexagon Punch; 1 3/4" Circle Punch; 2" Circle Punch; Linen Thread; Pearls of Beauty (Crumb Cake); dimensionals; glue dots
