Cute As A Bug card

Here is another CUTE card using some adorable DSP.

These bugs just make me smile.

I hope they make you smile too!

 

I used the 

 #166994- Cute As A Bug Dsp= $12.50 Spring Mini pg. 43

How did I do it? 

*I punched the center out of a piece of 3 x 3 1/2" Old Olive card stock,

using the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. 

*Then embossed this using the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder.

*I punched out a 2 3/8" Basic White Circle & put into the center.

*Then fussy cut the leaves/berries/bugs/flowers directly from the DSP 

& put into the center of the card as shown.

Here are the supplies & measurements.

 

stamp set:  'Sweet Bugs' (words) 

card stock:

• Poppy Parade- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
• Old Olive- 3 x 3 1/2"- punch center out using 2 3/8" Circle Punch, then emboss using the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder
• Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- punch out 2 3/8" Circle 
• Basic White- 1" strip- stamp words onto & fussy cut out with scissors
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card

designer paper:  Cute As A Bug

• Fussy cut images directly out of the dsp using scissors 

ink:  Memento

other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder; Specialty Plate; Low Profile (Yellow) Sparkle Dots; Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack; Wink of Stella; dimensionals; glue dots; scissors
