'Sharing Sweet Thoughts'- butterflies!

Here is another cute jar card using the 'Sharing Sweet Thoughts' - Ronald McDonald stamp set!  This is such a cute stamp set, with lots of options to create with!

I used the butterflies to put inside the jar for today's card!!  I stamped them using the Archival Basic Black ink pad & then colored them with the Basic Black & Daffodil Delight markers!  I added some clear Wink Of Stella Pen to the butterflies too- which glimmers when you can see them in person. Oh so pretty!!

And on this card I have a sneak peek for you.....check out this cool plaid designer paper!!  It is from the Merry Little Christmas DSP that is in the Holiday Catalog & it will be available to purchase on September 1st!  You'll want to add it to your wish list forsure!

This is just a simple z fold card.....and I used the Pretty Label punch along the edge as a pull tag to help open it up.  I love black & white cards, and then adding the touch of Daffodil Delight here just made it pop!

'Hello Friend' meets Delightful Daisy DSP!

This is one of the cards everyone joining me for my July monthly classes got to make.

It is a fun & simple card........these colors are so totally out of my comfort zone, but I was so pleased at how cute it turned out!

I had lots of these Delightful Daisy DSP sheets....and I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them.  

It was fun at my classes to hear the comments as some were making this card.  I was pleasantly pleased that so many friends liked it!

What a blessing Brody is!

 Here is a picture of Brody taken last night at our home!!

And here is a picture of him last Tuesday in the hospital! 

WOW- how amazing he looks now!!! 
Thanks for all of the prayers......and please continue praying for him on his journey! 

This is a picture of him taken on July 23rd- the day of his accident, right after his surgery. 
It just breaks my heart!!
We have been on quite the roller coaster journey the past 10 days.......but we are so thankful & grateful & blessed!

'Daisy Delight'

Here are some more stemmed flowers using the 'Daisy Delight' stamp set.  Awhile back I made several different layouts, using this stamp set & color combination.  

This is a clean & simple card.....but I really like it.  I know I send alot of sympathy cards.  So if you are looking for a fast card to make- this one would be perfect!!

You know.....you could just change the sentiment on it & it would make a great birthday card, get well card, anniversary card, etc. 

By just adding a little piece of Crushed Curry ribbon here, it really adds alot to this card, dressing it up!  You might say- finishing it off!

'Pieces & Patterns'

 This little dinosaur is cute!!  I love the words in this stamp set & have used them quite alot.  I hadn't used the images until yesterday, when I made this cute card for Brody!

Brody loves green & dinosaurs......so I was hoping he'd like this card!  And he did!  

If you look closely at the dinosaur- 

• I stamped it using Archival Basic Black ink.
• Then squished my Emerald Envy ink pad lid,
• Opened it up.
• And pulled the green color off of the inside lid top- using my Clear Wink of Stella Pen!

The dinosaur has a glimmer to him, which makes him even cuter too!

I used the coordinating DSP (designer paper)- Pick a Pattern to go with the dinosaur!  

Notice how I punched different circle sizes out of the DSP to add to the card too.

We are very BLESSED!!  Brody is finally home......The past week has been a bad nightmare for our family.  I will hopefully have time later this week to update you all on things happening around here & post some photos.  But right now I have tons to catch up on.  We are just very thankful for so much!  Brody's journey to recovery is not over by any means......but we are heading in the right direction now.  And he is home!!!

 

Here is a picture of our SUPER BRODY.....all smiles & both thumbs up as he is so ready to go home from the hospital!   He now has some super cute hats & bandana's to wear!  Isn't he just adorable!

'Carols of Christmas'- SNEAK PEEK!

Oh my gosh.......I am SO EXCITED!!!  I love this card!!  Isn't it just stinkin' cute!!  It is totally a Susie card!

I used the Early Release- 'Carols of Christmas' & the coordinating Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies to create it!  Talk about a WOW product- I love it & I know you will too when you can see how many different uses you can have creating with it!

BUT Stampin' Up! is doing an Early Release on these 2 products, stating on August 1st!  WOO HOO!!

I realize this is a new Christmas stamp set- but I think it makes a great guy card & will even be great for creating awesome fall cards with too!

I sponged around the edges of the Very Vanilla pieces to make it pop a little more.

'A Little Wild'

Gosh......so you already know that I think this stamp set is super cute!!  I have several different cards that I've previously posted on my blog in the past 2 months using it.  

So this is one of the cards that everyone joining me for my July monthly classes got to make.  I think it is just adorable!!! 

Check out the leaves behind the lion!! 

I got a swap card from Raedean, using this lion in a window , with this Layering Leaves Embossing Folder.  So I added some layers, & made it into a fun fold.....this is what I came up with- stepping up her idea.  And I think it turned out pretty darn cute!

Awhh.......Check out the little lions back end here!  That is just too cute too!

Yesterday morning was a fun time stamping with my friends that joined me!  I spend the afternoon cleaning up & stamping some more!

Last night Deke & I went out for supper & then picked up a new TV for our bedroom, as our has been broken for awhile.  

This morning Deke is off early to chore & we then we have a fun day planned!!  As we are heading to Des Moines to spend the day with our family at Adventureland.  The boys are old enough this year that they should love it!!  I'm sure we'll be on the go 100 mph.  It will be a hot day, filled with lots of laughs & fun times I'm sure!  The Wood Family & the Seeley Family went up yesterday to camp.  We are all going to the park together today & then we'll come home tonight to chore.  They will stay another night & they are going to the water park on Monday!

Yesterday was a busy day!  And it ended with a fun night of stamping with many friends!!  We all had a great time together!!!  I know I enjoyed my evening.  And a few of the gals stayed to visit, as we hadn't seen each other for awhile & we had alot to catch up on!

This morning I'm getting things cleaned up & all set up for more stamping!!  I have more friends joining me this morning to stamp too.  I plan clean up after they are gone & then stamp all afternoon too- as have things I need to get caught up on. 

I think tonight is gonna be date night for Deke & me!  I'm not sure where we are going yet.......as we need to return some shoes for him that don't fit.  Guess we'll then decide where we are gonna eat supper at.  I have my guess where it will be.....we'll see if I know know where he is going to pick & if I am right or not.  Hopefully we'll get to bed early.  As we still aren't back to feeling normal yet from our long traveling home last weekend.
