Fun Z Fold "Cross" sympathy card

Check out today's cross card.

It is clean & simple.

It is a great sympathy card, but could be used for 

many other occasions too.

 

I made this card for a dear friend's dad's funeral

& I really like the way it turned out.

This is a fun z fold card, which is my favorite fold!

The cross looks like this when it is standing up.

Notice how I have used the circle words as a 'latch' to hold the card shut.

stamp set:  'Loveliest Tree' (words)

card stock:

• Early Espresso-  5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 2 1/8" & 4 1/4" & Z fold as card base
• Early Espresso- 1 x 5" (vertical for cross)
• Early Espresso- 1 x 4"- horizontal for cross)
  
• Very Vanilla- 2" strip- stamp words onto & punch out with 1 3/4" strip
• Very Vanilla- 2 1/8 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card

designer paper:  Country Woods DSP

• 1 7/8 x 5 1/4" (x2)
• 3/4 x 3 3/4" (dark for cross horizontal)
• 3/4 x 4 3/4" (dark for cross- vertical)
  

ink:  Early Espresso

other:  1 3/4" Circle Punch; dimensionals; glue dots

retired:  Jute
