One More Year plaid birthday cards

This is one of the cards that everyone stamping with 

me at my January monthly classes will be making!

I love this chocolate cake with all of the candles on it!

Check out these cool words that I used on the inside of the card.

This is the words I used for the inside of the dog card.

I maximized my DSP by cutting my 6x6" DSP into 4- 3x3" squares.

I then cut each 3" square into 1x3" strips & layered them onto card stock.

Neat huh!

 Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'One More Year'

card stock:

• Crumb Cake- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" & fold in half for card base
  
• Crumb Cake- 3 1/2 x 3 3/4"
  
• Crumb Cake- 3 1/4" strip- die cut circle
  
• Crumb Cake- 3/4 x 5 1/4"- stamp words onto right end
  
• Boho Blue- 4 x 5 1/4"
  
• Boho Blue- 3 1/4 x 3 1/2"
• Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- stamp image (cake or puppy) onto & punch out with 2 3/8" Circle Punch
  
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card
  

designer paper:  Timeless Plaid 6x6 DSP- 1 x 3" (x 3 different patterns)

ink:  Memento
