Another Stampin' UP! Sneak Peek

Good morning!

Here is another NEW Sneak Peek from the Spring Catalog.

WOW- yesterday was a snow day & I spent my day stamping in my studio.  I now have 4 swaps done that I'm in.  So- I'm half way done!  And have to have them all done & in the mail by Monday.  If school is cancelled again today I'll be a busy stamper again.

I'm going to Manda's today to keep the boys.  If the roads aren't too bad we'll come out here later.  I just hate having to take them out early in the morning in the dark & cold with crappy weather on top of it.

Pekin Schools already cancelled  for today due to the terrible roads.
Sure wish Sigourney Schools would at least do a 2 hour late start!

Isn't this a simple & pretty card?
It is one that I did with my girls at my downline meeting last Saturday.
Alot of items on this card are created with a NEW "KIT"!
Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit (Crumb Cake die, flower, brad & stamp set) used on this card
cs:  Pool Party & Daffodil Delight
Sale-a-bration- Sycamore Street Designer Paper
ink:  Pool Party
other:  1" circle punch, dimensionals, glue dots
Sale-a-bartion- Sycamore Street Pool Party ribbon

I hope you have a great day!
Drive careful!
Stay warm!
Happy Stamping!

Another Stampin' UP! Sneak Peek from the Sping Catalog

Good morning!
Here is another "Sneak Peek" of the new little butterfly punch that is in the NEW Spring Catalog.

'Wishes Your Way'
cs:  Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango
ink:  Black Stazon
supplies:  Bitty Butterfly punch, Postage Stamp punch, 1 3/8" Square punch, Basic Rhinestones, dimensionals, glue dots

This is such a cute & simple card that I did for the girls at my downline Christmas Get-to-Gather last Saturday as one of their shoe box swaps.  I am also doing this card for a swap that I'm in with my demonstrator friend Kelly.

I love this little butterfly punch!

Note:  Can you tell I punched out the butterfly from a Very Vanilla strip; then used the Post Stamp punch & punched out the butterfly image; then punched out a square of colored card stock using the 1 3/8" square punch & put behind it; finally punched out a butterfly with the coordinating card stock to make the butterfly pop up & attached with a glue dot.

School is cancelled here today.  So I'm home!  I have TONS of stamping to do.  Will be in my studio all day.  I started soaking beans yesterday & got a big cured ham roast at the locker yesterday, so will be making ham & beans & cornbread for us in the crock pot.

We don't have much snow.....just a dusting, but got lots of sleet & slush.  The wind is blowing terrible though.  If we would have gotten the snow we were suppose to have had- the drifts would be awful!

TODAY is Manda & Steve's 4th anniversary!  They were married on 12/20/08.  It was a beautiful wedding that turned into a snowstorm.  Lots of family & friends still joined us for the celebration.  They are an amazing couple!!  They have been together for 14 years (since they started dating).  Wishing them a special day & many more to come!

Hope you have a safe day!
Be careful, stay warm & dry.
Happy Stamping!

My June calendar page!

Good morning!

Here is my June calendar page.

'Everything Eleanor', 'Itty Bitty Banners' & 'Papillon Potpourri'
cs:  Rose Red, River Rock, Whisper White
ink:  Rose Red
marker:  Rose Red
supplies:  Elegant Butterfly, 1 3/8" circle punch, dimensional, glue dot

WOW- today is the calm before the storm!  We are going to get lots of snow & blowing snow!  Winter is here!

I am so glad we sold hogs last night & didn't have to deal with the snow storm tonight!

The boys & I have several errands to get done today.  I have to go to the recycling center & the locker.

Tonight we were going to have a few friends over for supper for Manda & Steven's anniversary (which is tomorrow), but afraid the storm coming may postpone that until next week.  I don't want anyone to be on the roads if they are bad.

Wonder if school will be postponed or cancelled for tomorrow?  If they have it I won't be home.....I'll go into Manda's & stay there with the twins so that we don't have to take them out & she doesn't have to drive on our gravel road.  Guess we'll see what happens & decide in the morning.

I hope you have a good day!
Safe travels!
Happy Stamping!

A Stampin' UP! Sneak Peek.....from the NEW Spring Catalog!

Good morning!
WOW.....I had my downline Christmas Get-to-Gather on Saturday & this is one of the cute cards that I made as a shoe box swap for my gals.  You are getting the chance to see a sneak peek at some of the new products coming up in the Spring Catalog & Sale-a-bration Flyer.

First of all......do you notice the silver center piece?  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!  This is one of our new Soda Pop Tops.  They come in 2 different sizes in the pkg (8 each).  The one shown is the smaller one.  But they are raised & I felt it would be very hard to use on a mailable card.......so I smashed it with my Big Shot!  Yes I did!  It was easy.....and Brayden did them for me!  (I will post for you how to do this sometime after Christmas!)
'A Little Greeting' (NEW)
cs:  Night of Navy, Very Vanilla
Sycamore Street Designer Paper (NEW- Sale-a-bration)
flower:  created with the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit (NEW)
supplies:  Big Shot, Soda Pop Top (NEW),Vintage Trinkets, In Color Dahlias, Jewelry Tag punch, Victoria Crochet Trim, Denim Jean Ribbon, dimensionals, glue dots

Yesterday we had lots of company!!  My mom & Aunt Virginia came to visit us in the morning.  Then Aunt Kathy came to visit us in the afternoon.  Deke's parents (Betsy & David) came to visit us in the evening & ate supper with us.  Deke's family has a tradition of eating wilted lettuce & dumplings as a family favorite meal.  Thus Deke made them for us for supper last night.  It was nice getting to visit with everyone.

Tonight we sell hogs.  Glad that we are doing them tonight instead of tomorrow night- as it sounds like Iowa will be getting some snow!

Our nephew Caleb is such a lucky young man.  Please continue prayers for him.  They put a halo on him early yesterday morning & the drs are happy with the results.

Have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!
ENJOY!
