We are blessed to live in America!

A beautiful wreath!

HI!  Here is a beautiful wreath!

I'm off to Hiawatha soon to stamp with Nancy & Lynda & their friends!  This is one of the beautiful cards that everyone will be making today.

'Winter Memories'
cs:  Watercolor Paper, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake & Cord'ination Early Espresso
ink:  Black Stazon
supplies:  Big Shot, Woodgrain embossing folder, sanding block, Cherry Cobbler Tulle ribbon, glue dot, dimensionals, Neturals watercolor crayons, Regals watercolor crayons, blender pens

I have a huge group coming today & I'm still cutting more card stock so that I have enough for everyone joining us.

We had a great time with Deke's family last night.  Almost everyone made it but 2 of the grandsons.  It was so fun to see so many new little ones that have joined the family the past year.  It was especially special to see the Wood Family from Illinois & the Polly/Wood family from Pennsylvania.  They don't live close by & the times we see them we treasure.  We ENJOYED getting to finally meet our great-niece Katie.  And wonderful to see our other great-niece Collyn's again too!  They are both precious!

Have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

'Ornament Keepsakes'

Good morning!

This is a card that everyone did at Linda's Christmas card Stamp-a-Stack class last weekend.  It is very similar to a card that I got at Founders from Julie Davidson.  Loved that it was a true 'Christmas' colored card & show cases several neat products from our awesome Holiday Catalog!

'Ornament Keepsakes' & 'More Many Messages'
cs:  Real Red, Whisper White & Early Espresso
Gumball Green Core'dination
ink:  Early Espresso & Gumball Green
supplies:  Big Shot, Holiday Framelits, Lacy Brocade embossing folder, Sanding Block, Real Red 1/8" Taffeta ribbon, glue dot, dimensionals, rhinestone (colored with a red Sharpie marker)
I enjoyed my sister Julie visiting yesterday afternoon & helping out with the twins.
Cut Steven's hair last night & then ran to town for Pizza Ranch for our supper.
Nice evening spent with my sister Julie & the Seeley family at our home.
Here is a picture Aunt Julie took of the twins being silly.
Brody is holding Steven's Mt. Dew & you'd think they had some of it with how silly they were being.
 Love those smiles.
And too bad you can't hear their laughs too!

I have a long list of to do's today that have to be done before I can go to bed tonight....
  •  Lots of stamps to sort & get ready for delivery that the UPS man delivered late yesterday afternoon.
  • Lots of Christmas card "KITS" to get done & several of them that need to be delivered to my Hiawatha area gals.
  • Lots of cards to cut for Nancy & Lynda's workshop tomorrow.
  • Lots of meatballs to make for our supper at Deke's parents for tonight.
We are looking forward to meeting Katie & seeing Collyn's tonight- our 2 youngest great- nieces.
Deke's family doesn't get together very often.
Love it when the ones from Illinois & Pennsylvania come to Iowa to visit us!
Hope you have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!
ENJOY!

'Scentsational Season' Tree Twist card

Happy Friday!
Here is a card that I'll be sharing at my workshops this month.  It is a cool TWIST card.  All of the ladies made it last night & it was a big hit!

'Scentsational Season', 'Border Banter' & More Merry Messages

cs:  Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Snow Festival Designer Paper
ink:  Gumball Green & Cherry Cobbler
supplies:  Big Shot, Holiday Collection Framelits, Rhinestones (colored in with a permanent red marker), Merry Minis (star), Paper Piercing tool & mat, dimensionals, glue dot, 2 1/2" Circle punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch
The inside has a pocket that you can keep open or glue shut.
This would make a great pocket for a gift card, money or a note!
Just think of the possibilities you could create using the TWIST fold!
And it fits into our Medium envelopes.
  • card stock= 4 1/4 x 11"
  • score diagonally from corner to corner (the long direction)
  • fold on scored line
  • then fold in half like a card
  • decorate however you choose
  • Easy!
I had a great group of ladies that joined me to stamp last night.
I enjoyed my evening & I think they did too.
We even had a husband join us for the evening to watch & visit.
He was the chauffeur for his wife who is on crutches.

Today I'm home all day with the twins.
I have to clean the house from class last night & cut card stock & repack for my workshop on Sunday.
Nancy & Lynda are going to be co-hostesses.
They have TONS of friends joining them for the afternoon to stamp!
If everyone comes that has RSPV'd it will be my biggest workshop ever.
Woohoo!!
I'm excited to share with them!!

My brother in-law & sister-in-law from Illinois are home with their family from Pennsylvania joining them including their new grand-daughter Katie (whom we have never met yet).
I can't wait!
So we are looking forward to spending time with Deke's family this weekend.
We will all be getting together tomorrow evening at his parents home.
(Which is right beside our home.)
I'm bringing the meatballs for supper.
All five of the great-grandkids will all be under the same roof at the same time for the first time ever.

Have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!
ENJOY!
