'Perfectly Preserved'

HI!

Wow- I got my cards created for my August workshops yesterday.  They all turned out SO CUTE!!  I can't wait for you to come stamp with me & make them.

This stamp set- 'Perfectly Preserved' reminds me of my grandmas.  They all canned.  This set is so darn versatile.  I just love it!!!

'Perfectly Preserved' & 'Itty Bitty Banners'
cs:  Early Espresso, More Mustard, Lucky Limeade
Orchard Harvest Designer Paper
ink:  Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, More Mustard, Cajun Craze
supplies:  Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots folder, Window Framelits, Cannery Set Framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits, White Twins, dimensionals

My card today was inspired by a demonstrator friend Renee Watson.  We are in a monthly swap together & I just love her style!!  I'm always thrilled to get her creations.  This card is similar to hers with a few things added.  I love these fall colors together!!  And the new framelits that go with this stamp set are so COOL!!!  You don't have to cut anything out by hand.  Yipee!!

I am off to Linda's workshop in a couple of hours.  We are doing a luncheon with her stamp party today.  She has several ladies joining us & I have only met a couple of them before, so looking forward to sharing my love of stamping with all of them!!  I am excited about the 4 cute cards they will be making!  This new Holiday Catalog is just amazing!!!  It has so many cool new things in it to create with.  My head just spins with ideas every time I look at it.

I sill have one more card project to cut, then pack & load up.  I also have to shower, feed my animals & water all of my outside plants.  So gotta run.

I have the twins tonight- so will be a busy & tired grandma when I hit the hay tonight!!  I still have lots of stuff yet to get ready for my stamp party I have tomorrow too!

Have a great day!!
Happy Stamping!
ENJOY!

Happy Friday!

Good morning!
Today I'm posting a picture of a card that I took when I was in Riverton, Utah at our Stampin' UP! distribution center.  Thus I cannot share with you whom the creator of this cute card is.  It uses alot of new products.  Think it is very striking!

'Pleasant Poppies', 'Papillon Potpourri' & 'Curly Cute'
cs:  Gumball Green, Whisper White
First Edition Designer Paper
ink:  Basic Black
markers:  Tangerine Tango, Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight
supplies:  dimensionals & Elegant Butterfly punch

I am planning to create a card for my workshops this weekend using this 'Pleasant Poppies' stamp set!  It has so many possibilities since it is so versatile.

Yesterday I enjoyed the boys......Brody is taking more & more steps each day.  He will be off & running soon.  He is also learning some new words- like "No No"!  They are eating some new foods- like watermelon (Drake loves it).

Last night we attended our annual Farm Bureau supper & meeting.  It was very nice.  My sister Beckie is running for Keokuk County Auditor, so she & Dan joined Deke & I & was introduced there.  We saw some friends we don't see often & got to visit a bit......just a very nice evening out.

I'm off to hide in my stamp studio all day.  Pray I have good Mojo!!  Lord knows I have tons of stamping to do!!  I have a workshop tomorrow at Linda's house & one on Sunday for my Iowa City group & I have nothing stamped- just all of my ideas in my head & on paper!  But promise I will have some cute cards to share & can't wait to do so!!

The guys will race tonight in Columbus Junction.  Hope that Nathan has good luck!  Wish I could go, but not going to be possible tonight.  I'll still be hiding in my stamp studio creating.

Tomorrow after my workshop I have the twins.......so I have to be organized today & make the most of my time.

My little cookie monsters!

We love oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies at our house.  I have made them for years!!  Not too many times can you be at our house & there aren't some in a tupperware container on the counter.  On Wednesday afternoon while the boys were napping I made some to send with the guys to the races.  So the twins got to eat them when they got up from the nap when they were warm!!

As you can tell by the picture.....I have created new little cookies monsters!!
We already have one big cookie monster around here- Brayden....and now more.
Years ago when I did daycare my kids would wake up to warm cookies almost every day.
Many of them still comment about eating cookies at our house.
The twins sure loved them!
Here Brody is helping Drake eat his cookie too.
When Brody was finished there wasn't a crumb left on his tray!

The boys are so sweet!!  Such a joy!!  We are so blessed!
They turned 11 months old this week.
Where does time go?

Happy Friday!!
Have a great weekend!!
Happy Stamping!

Sweet Baby "PINKS"

HI!

'Baby Boutique' & 'Itty Bitty Banners'
cs:  Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
ink:  Pink Pirouette
supplies:  Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots folder, Scallop Circle Bigz, 3 1/2" circle die, 1 3/4" circle punch, 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, basic pearls, dimensionals, glue dots, 3/8" Pink Pirouette taffeta ribbon

Sorry I'm a little late in posting this morning.  We didn't get home until late from the races last night & so I had tons of emails this morning to catch up on & then had to make my card.

I am really behind in finding time to get personal cards made that I need to get sent out.  I have a mile long list.  (Heck- I don't even have July BD cards done yet & it is August already!)  I had a dear customer that had a baby girl while I was at convention & I need to get something sent to her, so decided this morning to play a bit with creating a baby card.  Do you like the bib?

Nathan had a really good night of racing last night.  One more lap & he would have won- but came in a close 2nd.  Think that after restubbing the whole rear end of the car a couple of weeks ago has made a world of a difference.  The car was really good earlier in the season & then he was in that terrible wreck on Memorial Day & the car was bent so bad it just couldn't be set up.  It has been a frustrating season- but glad things are finally looking up again.  :)  It was a nice night at the races with April, Manda, the twins, Brayden, his papa Mark.

I enjoyed my day with the boys yesterday.  I have created little cookie monsters!  And Brody can repeat back to you "No, No"!  Grandma must say it more than mom does!  I will post pictures of them tomorrow.

Ok.....gotta run.......the boys will be here any minute!

Be sure to check back tomorrow for another card idea!
Have a great day!
Happy Stamping!
