'Fresh Vintage'- Sale-a-bration card

HI!
Here is a pretty card we did at my February workshops.  I did the technique called- inlaid embossing......I adhered the striped designer paper onto the Very Vanilla card stock & then ran them through the Square Lattice embossing folder.  Isn't it cool!!

I carefully curled the ribbon with the edge of my paper snips!!  So cute- huh!

Just LOVE all of the Sale-a-bration Mini things this year!!!  I can't get enough of them!

CHECK OUT THIS BUTTERFLY!!

Here is a neat card I created making a butterfly using the new Blossom punch.  This is a card that I did at my February monthly classes.  I really like the different fold... AND I just LOVE THIS PUNCH!!

supplies:  Decorative Label punch, 2 1/2 " circle punch, pearl, Pool Party ruffled ribbon, Blossom punch (for butterfly- you cut off the middle petal on the top & bottom of the flower to get the butterfly), Blossom Petals Builder punch (for the middle of the butterfly), Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, sponge, sticky strip

And I can't forget that I sprayed on the Champagne Shimmer Mist/rubbing alcohol mixed to give it that added sparkle!!

"Love BOT Valentines" to my boys!

Thought I'd share the boy's "Love "Bot" Valentines" with you!

I got the idea from another demonstrator friends blog- Dawn Olchefske's.
I love punch art, but don't do too much of it.  It is more time consuming than I usually have time to do when I get to create.
But I thought that the boys would like this one.

cs:  Basic Gray, Real Red, Whisper White, Pacific Point, Basic Black
ink:  Basic Black
White Gel Pen
supplies:  1/2" circle punch, 3/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, XL Oval punch,
small heart punch, Scallop Trim Boarder punch, word window punch, 3/16" corner punch

Here is a cute card that I did at my classes this month!

'Outlined Occasions' (SAB) & 'Confetti' sets

cs:  Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White & Red Glimmer paper

ink:  Black Stazon

marker:  Real Red

supplies:  Big Shot, Hearts collection Embosslits die, Full Heart punch, 

Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die, White Bakers Twine, Designer Rosette Bigz XL die

I used the Designer Rosette Bigz XL die to make the scallop edge along the bottom.

Look at the HEART closely!  I did the 'dry' embossing on the inside of it using the heart embosslit backwards so that it didn't cut through the card stock, but it left the impression.  COOL HUH!  

Don't you love the sparkle on the hearts that are cut of the Red Glimmer paper!

Did you notice that this is a 'tent' card?  

The base is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 & then I added the top piece onto it.
