Charming Day fun fold

WOW!

I just LOVE this new Timid Tiger color! 

Isn't this card just so pretty!

It is a totally Susie card! 

 

I LOVE how all of our Stampin' Up! colors coordinate!

That is what drew me to Stampin' Up! over 24 years ago when I became a demonstrator.

 

For today's card I used the

The card looks like this when it is standing up!

It is a fun z fold card. 

Notice how I have 2 different DSP patterns that show on the card front.  

Look how I stamped some leaves on the inside of the card.

And then I fussy cut & colored a flower to add over the top of them!

Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder Two-Toned CS card

Oh my gosh!!

It is SIMPLE Saturday!

Check out today's sunflower card.

This is a totally Susie card & I LOVE the way it turned out.

 

I used the  

#166145- Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder= $12.00 Online Exclusive

WOW huh! 

This is what the Two-Toned Daffodil Delight 12x12 card stock looks like 

when it is embossed with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. 

 

Notice how one side of the Two-Toned 12x12 card stock is the normal SU color 

& the backside of it is lighter!  

I love how you get 2 shades of the same color in just one piece of Two-Toned 12x12 card stock! 

This Two-Toned 12x12 card stock has the color printed onto a White piece of cardstock.

Thus one side is the normal SU color & the backside is just a lighter shade of the color.

And so when you tear or sand or crumble the Two-Toned card stock the 

white center of the paper will show! 

This is fun z fold card.

Check out how it looks when it is standing up!

 

 Notice the WHITE showing on the raised part of the embossed Sunflowers?

It is so easy to do!

And it is so cool to see the outcome of it! 

How did I do it? 

*Using the Sunflower 3D Embossing folder, emboss the LIGHT side of the Daffodil Delight Two-Toned 12x12 cs, cut down to 4 x 5 1/4". 

*Just lightly sanded the embossed sunflowers so that the raised edges of them show the white.

*Color the center of the sunflowers using a Dark Pecan Pie Stampin' Blend.

*Now layer & finish assembling the card.

Prairie Grass sunset z fold card

How did I do it? 

Notice how I made a simply sunset. 

I made a card stock template using a 2" Circle Punch.

I added Timid Tiger ink with a Blending Brush to the lower

part of the circle.

I then added Crushed Curry ink with a Blending Brush to the upper 

part of the circle.

I 'flicked' some Wink of Stella over it for some added sparkle.

Black Magic Technique using Layered Thoughts

Notice how the letters are different colors? 

This is a technique called the Black Magic Technique.

It looks like a colored chalk board doesn't it. 

 

How did I do it?

1.  Use Embossing Buddy over the entire piece of Basic Black card stock

2.  Stamp image onto Basic Black card stock using a White Craft ink pad or a Versamark pad.

(For my classes this month I'll be using the White Craft ink pad so that you can see the letter easier.)

3.  Put White Embossing Powder over the letters.

4.  Be sure to tap off excess & don't leave any little white powder residue anywhere except on the letters. 

5.  Heat the White Embossing Powder using the Heat Tool.

6.  Let dry/cool a few minutes.

7.  Now color over the top of the "White Embossed Letters" with your choice of Stampin' BLENDS!

I did a fun technique called 'Wood Carving' when making this card.

This photo shows how they look a little different as you 

add the colors over the top of each other! 

How do you do it? 

*Emboss Sunflowers onto Very Vanilla card stock.

*On the DEBOSSED side- "lightly swipe ink over the top of it".

You will add 3 colors over the top of it.

1st- add Crumb Cake; 

2nd- add Pecan Pie over the Crumb Cake 

3rd- add Early Espresso over the top of Crumb Cake/Pecan Pie

*Now add color using a sponge dauber-

-Flower Petals are Darling Duckling
