How did I use the washi tape? 

*Apply the washi tape to a piece of 3 1/2 x 5 1/2" Crumb Cake card stock.

*Die the the washi tape out.

 

*You will get all of these cut out images!

Turtle-y Cute Birthday card

Oh my gosh.......today is Trey's birthday!

He is 11 years old!

How can that be?

We call him turtle- so I couldn't resist making him a turtle card!

Isn't it cute!

 

I used the

I used my Paper Snips Scissors & fussy cut out the turtle, cake, candles, balloon & hat.

Here I added a birthday hat onto the turtle.  
Cute huh!

I love the way this card turned out.

And I can't wait to see what Trey says when he gets it!

Look how I added the washi tape to a window sheet & then die cut it! 

This worked so great so that I could pop up the flowers/leaves on my card!

This is a fun fold card called a Diamond fold.

It looks like this when opened all of the way up! 

This is so pretty don't you think!??

I made this card a z fold.

I looks like this when standing up!

This is my favorite go to fold for something 'different'.

All you do is fold the front of the card backward in half.

The measurements for this card base is-

5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 2 1/8" & 4 1/4"

• Basic Beige- 3/4 x 2 3/4"- stamp words onto & flag end using the Paper Snips Scissors

Paper Tags Fun Fold Flap card

Isn't this a cute fun fold card?

It is a totally Susie card & I love the way it turned out! 

I used the 

 #165462- PAPER TAGS BUNDLE= $46.75 Online Exclusive

 

Check out how I made a fun starburst on the card front too.

I used 2 x 4" pieces of card stock & diagonally cut them in half.

I adhered them to a piece of 2 3/4 x 5 1/4" Basic White card stock 

& then trimmed off around the edges.

Here what the starburst looks like on the card front.

Cool huh!

This is what the card looks like when it is opened up.

Notice how I cut the top & bottom corners out of the card front

& then attached the tag to that 'flap' piece.

 

Below are a couple of photos so you can see the pattern

on how I made this fun fold card, so that you can make it too! 

5 1/2 x 8 1/2" card base- score at 4 1/4" & 7 1/4"

NOW you will cut out 1 1/4" squares out of each of the corners.

For the tag I stamped it in VersaMark ink pad, onto Basic White card stock

& then used Black Embossing Powder & heat set it.

It is nice & shiny!

I used my Darling Duckling Stampin' Write Marker 

to highlight some of the words on the tag.

 

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'Paper Tags'

card stock:

• Basic Black- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & 7 1/4"- fold for card base.  Cut 1 1/4" squares out of top & bottom front corners as shown in pattern above.
• Basic White- 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"- adhere triangle yellow CS pieces to this to make the starburst & then adhere to Basic Black card front
• Basic White- 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card as shown in the photo above
• Basic White- 2 1/2 x 4 1/4"- stamp tag onto using Versamark ink pad, heat emboss with Basic Black Embossing Powder & die cut tag.
• Daffodil Delight- 2 x 4"- diagonally cut
• Crushed Curry- 2 x 4"- diagonally cut
• Lemon Lolly- 2 x 4"- diagonally cut
• Darling Duckling-  2 x 4"- diagonally cut
• Darling Duckling- 4 1/4" strip- die cut scalloped tag & save little heart from tag slot to adhere to the card front black embossed tag.

• 1 1/2 x 5 1/4"- adhere along the inside edge of the card, after you adhere the Basic White CS piece.
