I am doing a 12 day countdown with Christmas projects. Here is day #10.......
Check out these fun deer cards!
Which do you like better?
THIS- the left one (vertical)?
OR
THAT- the right on (horizontal)?
Aren't these adorable!
These were one of my projects I supplies at a team retreat I had last month.
Isn't he adorable!
He was made using these 3 dies & just so easy to do!
NOW.........
Check out the card stock paper weaved braid that I added to my card front.
HOW DID I DO IT?
1. Start with 4 pieces of 1/2 x 12" of DSP
& adhere the 4 strips together so that they look like this.
2. NOW weave them by folding each edge over the other.
3. NOTICE how the look as you weave them- so COOL HUH!
4. This is what the weaved paper braid looks like.
You will continue weaving to the end.
5. Now adhere the braided paper weave to the card front.6. Cut it off to the length of the card, using Paper Snip Scissors.
7. You will want to add a little adhesive to the ends of the DSP
that you cut off so that it all stays together.
WOW HUH!
Isn't it just SOOO PRETTY!
I just love the way it turned out!So what do you think? Hope you like this card as much as I do!!
