More snowy trees!

This is the last of my snowy trees to share!  And the last of my Crayon Resist Technique.

Starting tomorrow I'll start posting photos of my 2017 monthly calendar pieces that everyone attending my December monthly classes made.

Check out the moon here.....
Sometimes the mistakes turn out ok!  I just accidently dropped a dot of water onto this piece of card stock.  It was all stamped & sponged & the snow was even added to it.  I had it laying on my kitchen counter & it got a little drop of water on it.  But oh WOW- what a perfect accident.  It ended up in the right place & looks like a moon doesn't it!
stamp set:  'Jar of Cheer' & 'Greetings from Santa'
card stock:  Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Whisper White
ink:  Black Stazon & Marina Mist
other:  Perfect White Accents (colored with a Black Sharpie Marker), Sponge,Dimensionals, Multipurpose Glue, White Mica Flakes and a WHITE crayon

Oh wow......I spent all day yesterday, from early in the morning until late at night stamping!  I got alot done, but not near enough!  I still have several boxes of stamp supplies left to get put away!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & then head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off early to work on things around the house & then I'll go pick up Masen, as Nathan has an early meeting.  We'll then go to Manda's & I'll get their boys & head back home to our house for the day.  I have tons I want to get done......and making sugar cookies with the boys is one of them.  Brayden will be here after school.  And then tonight our whole family will be here for supper.  And we have a special guest coming to visit us too!  Brayden chose the supper menu of ham balls, scalloped potoatoes, baked beans & grapenut muffins.  (Yep- he sounds like a true Wood- as that is a favorite of most Wood boys!) We have a full day/night ahead of us!

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

'Tin of Tags' snowflakes

I'm sharing a clean & simple card on this Sunday!

Check out the Snowflakes!  Yep- that pretty much sums up the scene out our windows.  We have big drifts of snow.  I'm not sure how many inches we have, but it is everywhere!  It is super cold here!

This is fun card with 3 circles in a row. I made it with left over pieces from when I was creating for a class I did awhile back.  I thought it turned out pretty cute.
stamp set:  'Tin of Tags'
card stock:  Marine Mist, Whisper White, Dapper Denim, Silver Foil
ink:  Dapper Denim
other:  Big Shot, Layering Circle Framelits, 2" Circle Punch, Dimesionals

Today is a good day to be thankful I don't have a stamp class scheduled.  Mother Nature sure has been dumping bad weather on us the past 3 weekends.  Hope she gets it out of her system & the new year brings us some nicer weather.

Deke is going into the Seeley's for awhile to help Steve with some plumbing things, as they are redoing a room in their basement.  He'll then work on the farm all afternoon/evening- as he is trying to get the plastic on all of the curtains to help keep the hog buildings a little warmer.

I am going to be home all day working on farm bookwork.  We have a farm pre-tax appointment this coming Thursday night & I have alot I need to get done.  I'm going to make the most of time home alone.  I hope I get alot done.  And I still don't have our Christmas tree up yet......so have to get that done tonight too.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

WOW- here is another Pop-up Panel card!

Oh my gosh.....I am so addicted to making this fun pop-up panel cards.  This is the 3rd one I've made for stamp classes in the past few months.

You can see my other pop-up panel cards by clicking on these links-
They cards are a huge hit with my customers.  Everyone just loves them!!  These card looks complicated, but they really aren't once you figure it all out.  Most other pop-up panel cards I've seen open the other way.....and I like to be different!  I just love all of these cards.
Isn't it neat how it just all folds flat like this when the card is closing.
Here is the front of it.  I used the cool 'It's A Celebration' stamp set to decorate it all.

I love the sparkle of this pretty Silver Sparkle ribbon & basic rhinestones to add bling!
I made this a New Years card, but wouldn't it make a pretty graduation, wedding, anniversary, birthday or card for many different celebrations!

stamp set:  'It's A Celebration'
card stock:  Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Whisper White
ink:  Archival Basic Gray
other:  Simply Score Tool, Silver Glitter ribbon, Dimensionals, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, Duet Banner Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Glue Dot

Yesterday was a busy morning with all of the boys....I got the 3 older boys to school, went to the recycling center & then came back home with the 2 little boys.  I finally got Trey's hair cut.  When Masen left around noon, Trey & I ran to Osky to get my hair cut, I picked up my new glasses & got them adjusted.  Plus delivered a couple of stamp orders along the way too!  It was a nasty afternoon with freezing rain, so we didn't get much else done- just headed home.  Last night I worked on stamping stuff!

This morning I'm going to get a few things done & then head out to visit my friend Donna for some coffee & a quick chat.  I'll spend the rest of my day/evening working on stamping stuff!

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a fun day with my 2 little ones.  When they were gone home I spent my evening out on the farm in the COLD helping Deke mark, sort & move big pigs.  We then sold some too.  I'm not ready for this cold of weather.  I was froze when we got in.

I burnt the midnight oil last night working on stamping stuff!

This morning I'm off to go pick up the boys for the day.  They'll go with us out to the hog houses all morning, as we get more baby piggies delivered this morning!

Tonight when the boys go home I'll burn the midnight oil again stamping!  I have boxes & boxes of stuff from my last few classes that I have got to get all finished & put away.

Another snowy tree!

Here is another snowy tree!

I'm sure you've all figured out that I played with this stamp set, in many different ways doing the crayon resist technique.  Many of the cards I've share the past few days are ones that I originally made when creating for my Holiday Extravaganza class (that was the end of October).  I didn't use any of these cards at that class.  But they are still cute & I wanted to make sure to share them with you here on my blog.

With our recent cold & snow we've had, all of these snowy tree cards are very fitting for the season.
stamp set:  'Jar of Cheer'
card stock:  Dapper Denim, Marin Mist, Whisper White
ink:  Archival Basic Black, Marina Mist
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Circle Framelits, White Accents, White Organza Ribbon, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, White Mica Flakes

My day was busy with the boys & baby piggies!  When the boys had all gone home last night I burnt the midnight oil placing orders & working on swaps!

This morning I'm off to go pick up the boys.  The twins have pre-school today.  The other 2 boys will run errands with me- locker, recycle center, post office, etc.

Tonight when the boys go home I'll be a farmer- helping Deke with the big pigs.  We have some to sort that are in our outside lots....so it is going to be COLD!!  Tonight when I get in, I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping.....as I have several things I need to get done & in the mail to friends.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Wow- what a busy weekend full of LOTS of stamping!  It was great to see everyone & share.  There were lots of 2017 calendars made at my classes the past few days & many are going to be given as Christmas gifts!!  My calendars turned out super cute & I will be posting photos of them here on my blog sometime later this week!

I left early yesterday morning to head out to Cedar Rapids for the day!  Cathy & Judy were our hostesses for this months monthly classes.  Despite the weather, almost everyone made it!  It was a fun day!  I got home late, unloaded the car & ended up watching a Hallmark Christmas movie & fell asleep on the couch.  I was just beat.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  Our school was delayed 2 hours due to the icy roads......so Masen will be here early & I'll go pick up the other 3 boys a little later.

Tonight Brayden will be here after school too for awhile & then he'll go to a basketball game with his dad, that Nathan is referring in Sigourney.  Sarah has a late meeting- so Masen will be here late with me.  I will be burning the midnight oil stamping when the boys are all gone home.

Gotta run....
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!

'Baby Bear'

This little guy is so soft & cuddly looking!
I did the faux suede technique along the strip of card stock that goes across the front of the card.

I got a little ink on my finger, that ended up on the white square that I stamped the bear onto.  So I could just throw it away....I fussy cut out the bear & popped him up with dimensionals instead!

stamp set:  'Baby Bear' & 'Candy Cane Christmas' (for the words- Just for You)
card stock:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Whisper White
ink:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Soft Suede
other:  Kraft Rope Trim, Classic Label Punch, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys.  When they went home I was a farmer & helped Deke with the hogs.  It was COLD!  We  had such a beautiful fall.  I'm not ready for this terrible cold temps.  Guess I'd rather have it this way than have a ton of ice though.

When we got in last night I got supper, showered, picked up toys & burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock.

I'm off to go pick up the boys for the day!  Tonight I have a few friends coming here to our home to make their calendars.  While they are doing that, I'll be cutting card stock for more upcoming calendar classes.

Deke is home to work on the farm all day.  We are looking forward to him being here to eat lunch with us today!  Tonight he is working late on the farm moving pigs.  We are trying to get ready for new baby piggies that are suppose to come next week.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a great Thursday!!

Mr. Moose!

It is a Merry Mr. Moose from the 'Jolly Friends' stamp set! I just think he is adorable!!!

And the script on the words in the 'Forever Evergreen' stamp set is cute too!

This is a clean & simple card.  By adding the Cable Knit Embossing folder to it though,  sure added some dimension & great texture to the card.
You know I'm a glitter gal- so I couldn't resist adding the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper to the trim & ball on the hat.

stamp set:  'Jolly Friends' & 'Forever Evergreen'
card stock:  Crumb Cake, Real Red, Basic Black, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer, Whisper White
ink:  Black Memento, Real Red

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys.  When they left last night I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock.  Bless Deke for helping me by punching lots of holes in the calendar pages.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for the morning.  I'm up & off to go pick up the boys, take the twins to school, run some errands & spend my day with Trey & Masen.  Tonight when the boys go home I'll be headed out to help Deke & be a farmer tonight!!  When I get in I'll burn the midnight oil cutting more card stock!!

I haven't had time to take pictures of my 2017 calendar pages!  They are SUPER CUTE!!  I know everyone at my class on Sunday loved them.  I'm gearing up for everyone joining me the rest of the week- as they'll be making their calendars with me too!

More snowy trees!

Here are some more snowy trees, using the 'Jar of Cheer' stamp set!  This is a clean & simple card.  I was playing with sponging different colors & choose Old Olive for this card.

I did the crayon resist technique here on this card too.
There is alot of sparkle & shine on these trees & on the snow.  It is really pretty in person.  I just lightly sponged on the Old Olive ink, over the Whisper White card stock, that I had used a White Crayon on.

stamp set:  'Jar of Cheer'
card stock:  Old Olive, Whisper White, Basic Black
ink:  Archival Basic Black, Old Olive
other:  Multipurpose Liquid  Glue, White Mica Flakes, Sponge, White Crayon, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Yesterday afternoon while the 2 little ones took a nap, the twins, Deke & I put up our Christmas lights & garland on our porch.  Brayden got off the bus here, so the boys had fun playing for awhile.  When everyone went home last night I worked on placing orders & connecting with my hostess Denise, so close yesterday's stampin' party.  I then burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock for my upcoming calendar classes I have this week. When Deke got home from his meeting, he punched holes for me in the calendar pages (bless him)!

Deke is home to work on the farm all day today (with no meetings in between).

This morning I'm off early to head to Nathan & Sarah's to stay with the boys for awhile there & then we'll all head to Manda & Steve's, get breakfast for everyone there, take Brayden to school & then head back out to our home for the rest of the day.

When the boys leave tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil cutting more card stock!  And Deke said he's be punching more holes for me too!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!
