A gift card holder

Good morning!
Happy Christmas Eve to you all!

Here is another STYC project that I don't think I ever posted.
(I got a card similar to this in a swap, but I'm so sorry- 
I don't remember who the original creator of it was.)

This is a really cool gift card holder made with the Pop N Cuts die. 
Notice how the card is open up above, scored & the bottom folded up, 
making a pocket to insert a gift card or cash.

Here is the front view of it with the card closed.
The little deer punch out is popped up with a dimensional so that is holds down the flap.

Yesterday I ran errands, finished my shopping in Sigourney, got groceries 
& wrapped all of our presents.
And I worked on calendars for Christmas gifts.

Plus- I had to laugh......as Nathan brought his presents 
& wrapping paper out for me to wrap for him too.
He bought some really pretty green & red wrapping paper- but it had LOTS of GLITTER on it!
Of all things....as much crap as he gives to me about glitter all over our house all of the time,
 for him to buy paper with glitter on it I couldn't believe it!
It is very pretty though!

Nathan & Brayden ate supper with us last night.
And then I cut Deke's hair while the guys enjoyed laughing, 
watching episodes of 'Home Alone".

Brayden ended up talking his dad into letting him stay all night.
But Nathan will be here bright & early this morning to help me 
start cooking supper for our Christmas here tonight.
 We will open gifts, eat supper & then go to mass together.
 Tomorrow we'll spend the day with my side of the family at my 
sister/brother-in-law Beckie & Dan's home.
It is going to be a such a fun Christmas this year, 
as the boys are all so excited about everything!!

I hope to find some time today to work on calendars some more too- 
as I have about 14 of them that I need to give tomorrow as Christmas gifts 
to those on my side of the family.
They might just get a 6 month calendar until I have time to finish up the rest of them.
We'll see how much I can get done!

I have all of my Christmas cards to make & lots of gifts to get done in the next 2 days.

It was nice visiting with old friends at Kroph's Granny's visitation last night.

 We then went to Taco Bells' for supper & ran into more old friends (Mike, Cammie & Steph),
 so enjoyed eating supper & visiting with them there.

 We did get most of our Christmas shopping done for the boys last night too.
So it was a successful night out!

Manda & Steve are going shopping today & celebrating their anniversary, 

so the twins will be with us all day/night today.
Grandma is going to be busy!

I had to laugh yesterday morning.....as there is a present under our tree from my friend Teri.....
and Brody picked it up & wanted to know if he could open his present. 
(I assume he wanted to because he had gotten to unwrap his present from Santa the night before.)
I told him that it was mine & I had to wait until Christmas to open it & he put it back.
It was just cute!
The boys will all have alot of fun on Christmas day this year opening gifts.

What a fun time it was to see the boys with Santa last night.

We then all had supper to celebrate Manda & Steve's 5th anniversary!

 Manda & I made Christmas gifts for her co-workers while the boys played with their new toys.

Even Brayden's mom was here & visited for quite awhile with us.

Love it when our family is all here together!!

Tonight we have visitation of our friend Jeff Kropf's grandmother.

And hope since we'll be going to Ottumwa for that, maybe Deke & I can Christmas shop too.

Santa stopped by last night to see the boys!!

This was so awesome!

The boys were so excited!!

Brody wasn't shy at all.
Drake had reservations, but eventually warmed up.

Brayden just visited with him like they were old friends!

It was priceless!

Don't you like the extra points on this Early Espresso circle?
I did it all with just the Scallop Circle punch, by punching it again.
Pretty cute huh how it goes with the outline of the stamp set isn't it.

I made a stamp delivery run to Iowa City last night & tried to 
do a little shopping.
I got each of the 3 boys one gift- but didn't find anything else.
Oh my gosh- I still have TONS of Christmas shopping yet to do.
And when am I going to be able to do that??
Christmas is going to be here & I'm not going to be ready. 
There just isn't enough hours in the day.

Tonight all of the kids are coming here for supper to celebrate 
Manda & Steve's 5th Anniversary.
And a little birdie told me that Santa is going to stop by to see us~
I can't wait to see the looks of surprise!
I hope we can get some cute photos to share.

My July calendar page......with some more sneak peeks!

Good morning!

Here is my July calendar page which has some more sneak peeks on it.

I must admit- that this is probably one of my favorite months out of all for this calendar.

Manda helped me with this layout & the June one too.

 I gave her the colors & stamp sets & she came up with the layouts.

I was glad she came to stamp with me as I miss her being my assistant.

We think alot alike when creating & she can cut card stock almost as fast as I can.

But she just doesn't have the time any more to do much stamping....she will again someday.

 Don't you just love this new stamp set & coordinating punch?

Woo Hoo!

Yep- we now have a little banner punch.

And this stamp set has 7 different banner images that go with it.

It is so cool & I think it will be a favorite of many during Sale-a-bration!

My calendar is already getting full with hostesses wanting parties during this time.

Yesterday I got the twins hair cut.....boy what a challenge!
We had a cold, late night selling hogs last night.

Tonight I'm on my delivery run & was hoping to get Deke to come along so we could buy some Christmas gifts- but that isn't going to happen, as he has so much going
 on this week with work & the farm.
So I'm going to look for a few things for the boys & then hope he has time next week to go with me.
As I haven't bought anything yet for Christmas gifts & I'm running out of time since 
Christmas is only 1 week away.
Yikes!!

I thought it was fitting to do a masculine theme with Father's Day being in June.

I only got Steve's hair cut last night......so will try to fit the others in sometime yet this week.

Right before Steve & Manda got here after work yesterday Brody pulled over the coat rack, (that sits right inside our family room door) & it hit Drake on the top of his head & cut it open.

There was blood everywhere- but the cut isn't near as bad as I thought it would be.

Poor little guy....he didn't cry too bad, but didn't want me to touch it or look at it either.

I'm thankful it wasn't bad enough that we needed to go to the Dr. for stitches.

Nathan & Brayden were here after school & for supper, so enjoyed that.

Deke's Uncle Joe is coming today to help Deke get our lagoons pumped.

And then tonight we sell hogs so I'll be going out to help Deke sort & load them.

My May Calendar Page......with sneak peeks at some new Ocassions Catalog products!

Good morning!

Wow!! 

What a crazy, busy week I had with 7 calendar classes all in the past 8 days.

I had many stampers came to make calendars with me for Christmas gifts.

I think that they turned out super cute & am so glad that so many joined me to make them.

I know I'm one very tired gal today....

And am hoping to be able to get alittle sleep sometime this week.

And then I just punched out these little petal flowers to put over the stamped stem/flower image.

WOW!
It has been a very busy week cutting card stock & getting ready for my calendar classes this week.

I've enjoyed sharing with everyone thus far & looking forward to 

2 more full days of stamping calendars.

Another sneak peek!!

Good morning!
I'm using the same tag & colors as I did on the card I posted yesterday.

I just changed the layout!

Isn't it amazing now you can get a totally different look?

 I'm busy, busy, busy cutting & having lots of stampers come make my calendars with me.
Last night was a late night here with the first round of calendar making at our home.....
and it continues tonight & all day tomorrow.
Then Sunday I'm in Hiawatha all day with my group up there.
