A Halloween scrapbook page..

HI!
Here is a Halloween scrapbook layout we did at my class last week.
'Papaya Collage'
cs:  Basic Black, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla, Tangerine Tango
dp: retired
I think it turned out really cute with the raven.

We had a great 4th of July celebration!
I hope you did too!
I enjoyed the morning catching up some more with my friend Mary.
Then Deke & I went to see the twins in the kiddie contest at the park.
We came back home to chore & then we went to my class reunion.
We had a great time!!!
It was so much fun!!
We all laughed so hard.
It was lots of fun remembering the 'good old times' together.
I think we need to get together once a year!

I'm headed to my studio this morning with my coffee in hand.
I'll be creating my card projects for my class that I have on Sunday.
AND the UPS man brought my new pre-order for Holiday Catalog products on Wednesday
& I haven't even had the time to open the box yet- so want to do that today too!
I need to create a couple of projects using some new products that I want
to have added to our power point slides at convention.
So I'm hoping I have good mojo & get alot of stamping done.

Tonight we are off to the races in Columbus Junction.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

Nathan had terrible luck last night racing.
He got 3rd in his heat & looked good.
He drew (bad) 10th for the main & got a low tire the first lap & had to pull in.

My friend Mary arrived in Iowa & joined us at the races.
I so enjoyed getting to catch up with her!
She is staying with us.
We have our 30th Class Reunion tonight.
We are looking forward to seeing some 'old' friends!

There is a huge 4th of July Celebration in Sigourney today.
Deke & I hope to find the time to make it in to see many of your friends there too.

The twins are in the cutie contest at the park this afternoon too.

I hope you have a fun, safe & FABULOUS 4th of July!!

Here is a winter scrapbook page....

Good morning!
Here is the winter scrapbook page that we did at my class last Saturday.
I love the Silver Glimmer paper.
Aren't these snwoflakes are just beautiful, using last years snowflake die (retired) with it!
I used Sahara Sand for the 12x12 pages along with Midnight Muse & Very Vanilla.
I think that this page was many of the ladies favorite!

WOW!
Yesterday was a crappy day.
Lately everything is breaking & going wrong around our home.
Last week it was our central air conditioner & our vehicle.
Yesterday I went to get my hair cut & when I got home I discovered that our
washing machine drain hose line broke & 20 gallon of water ended up
all over our laminate floor.
The repair man was here right away & fixed my washing machine.
And I called our insurance guy.
Deke & I spent several hours cleaning up the water.
We have fans still blowing on the floor & hoping it will be ok.
I know deep down it isn't going to be.
It is going to have to be replaced.

We had a late night selling hogs.
Thankfully it was cool out and they sorted & loaded good.

Today I have the twins for awhile & I'm getting my spare room ready for
my best friend from HS to come stay with us tonight.
She lives in Minnesota & is back for our class reunion we have tomorrow night.
I'm looking forward to seeing her & catching up!
She will be joining our family at the races tonight watching Nathan.

Gotta run!!
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs!

New Possibilities for the Clearance Items.....

YIPEE....you can now order from the clearance rack on a workshop order!!!  See the below post from SU!

June 28, 2013
Until now, clearance items have been limited to demonstrator and online orders to ensure that product was available at the time of purchase. When the Hostess Code was introduced, it became possible to add clearance items and to have them included on workshop orders. To make it even easier to add clearance items to any type of order, we have lifted the ban on placing clearance items on workshop orders.

Here is another scrapbook layout!

Woo Hoo!!!
Today is the day!
My big annual scrapbooking class is finally here!!
I have several ladies coming to join me at our home for the day to scrap.
I have 20 awesome pages (10- 2 page spreads) created for them to re-create.
They will go home with completed pages to add their photos to.

The page that I posted yesterday is probably my favorite one.
(Although I do like them all!!)
And this page is probably a super close 2nd to being my favorite.
Flags (or banners) as some people call them are really popular now.
And I love them on cards.
And I've used alot of them on several of the pages I created for this scrapbooking class.
