In The Country

WOW!!

What an awesome stamp set this is!

I used the 'In The Country'- FREE Sale-a-bration choice with a $50 product order.

I colored it using Watercolor Pencils & Blender Pens.

I think it turned out just gorgeous!

This card is one that everyone stamping with me at my 

February classes will be making.

This is what it looked like before I used the Blender Pen.

 

How did I do it?

*Stamp image onto Shimmery White card stock, using Black Stazon ink pad.

NOTE:  You will not want to use a Memento ink when coloring with the Blender Pens

or the ink will bled & run.

*Color image by squiggling, using Water Color Pencils. 
NOTE that I did NOT color the images in real well......I just squiggled the colors onto the cardstock.

*I then blended the colors using a Blender Pen.

So what do you think?

This is a totally Susie card & I love it!

 

Notice how I added some YELLOW dots within the grass for flowers!

Beautifully Happy fun fold

Check out this pretty fun fold card using the 'Beautifully Happy' stamp set-

This is one of the cards that everyone will be making at my February classes.

This is a pretty 2 step dis'ink'tive stamp that shows that 

shadowing naturally right in the stamp.

I love that this stamp set has all of the images 

along with the words too!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the outline of the flower in Memento ink;

the flowers in Calypso Coral ink pad & the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink pad.

Instead of using the I chose to use the Light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend to color the flower buds

& the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color the tiny leaves around the buds.

Share A Milkshake Fun Fold

 

Here is a cute fun fold card using the 

'Share A Milkshake' bundle!!

 

This is a card that everyone stamping with me at 

my February monthly classes will be making!

 This is what it looks like opened up!

 

How did I do it?

Notice how I cut the front card piece on both ends & then glued them down.

I used the THICK Basic White Cardstock-

5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base.
Then cut at 1 1/4" & 4 1/4" on the card front to the score line only

AND then glue these down to the inside of card base.

You can't tell by the photo but after I stamped the milkshake glass,

I added a piece of Clear Packing Tape over the top of it & then die cut it.

This makes it shiny & looks like glass in person!

 

I just love the way this card turned out & think it is so cute!

Friendly Gnomes Valentines card

 

Oh.......check out this adorable gnome!

He is from the 'Friendly Gnomes' stamp set.

He just makes me smile! 

This is a fun center gate fold.

 

I die cut the letters using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies.

Here the card is opened up.

 

This is what it looks like when standing up!

Notice how I cut the bottom part of the gnome off & 

attached him to the top of the heart! 

I just love the way this turned out!

Day At The Farm DSP

 

OH my gosh......check out this CUTE card!

As this farm girl (me) is in LOVE with this awesome Day At The Farm DSP!

This cards was soooo easy, as all I did was cut down the dsp

& attach it to a card front!

Here is what it looks like when it is opened up.

How did I do it?

• 6x6" typing paper

• fold this is half

• now open it up, turn & fold it in half again

• open up & fold in half from point to point like this

 

• fold points inward

• now attach to the inside of the card- centering it & have point in card fold

• add adhesive of your choice to the top, now shut the card & press to attach it
