Black & White- how can you go wrong?

You know that I just love black & white cards.

 

Here is a fun card I made using the All Squared Away Bundle!

Check out the square flower die.

It is pretty cool huh!

This is a very modern set of flowered dies! 

It has several fun flowers in it!

Here are the supplies & measurements.

 

stamp set:  'All Squared Away'

card stock:

• Basic Black- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base
  
• Basic White- 3 3/4 x 5"
  
• Basic Black- 1/2 x 3 3/4" (x2)
  
• Basic Black- 2 1/2 x 2 1/2"
  
• Basic White- 2 1/2" strip- die cut square flower image
  
• Basic White-  4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card

Stampin' Up! Sweet As A Peach bundle!

 Here is another cool Cris Cross fun fold card,

using the 'Sweet As A Peach' bundle.

Yesterday I shared a card with this layout- but it was horizontal.

I also used the 'Sweet As A Peach' bundle.

Notice the Stitched Greenery Die I used for the inside of the card.

I LOVE IT!

I combined the stamp set/dies with the DSP!

Wow- I love how all of the SU! products coordinate.

These You're A Peach Suite are so cute! 

Here I stamped the 2 peaches & sets of leaves & die cut them out.

 This is what it looks like when it is opened up!.

See how I cut off the card front at a diagonal from the top corner to the bottom corner.

I then added the DSP & glued the 2 triangles together.

Neat huh!

I love the way this card turned out!

 Here are the measurements & supplies.

stamp set:  'Sweet As A Peach'

card stock:

• Calypso Coral- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2"- fold in half & then diagonal cut off the right edge.  You'll save this & reattach it after you adhere the DSP to it.
• Calypso Coral- 1 1/2 x 2 3/4"- layer under scalloped rectangle for front of card
  
• Basic White- 3" strip- die cut 2 of these scalloped rectangles & stamp words onto them.  One of them is for the outside of the card & the other is for the inside of the card.
  
• Basic White- 2" strip- stamp 2 peaches onto & die cut
• Basic White- 1" strip- stamp leaves onto & die cut
• Pear Pizzazz- 4 x 5 1/4"- die cut with the Stitched Greenery Die, for inside of card

designer paper:  You're A Peach DSP- 4 x 5 1/4"- diagonal cut- flip one side over & use one of these on each triangle

inks:  Calypso Coral & Pear Pizzazz

other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Stitched Greenery Die; Peach Dies; Scalloped Contours Dies; dimensionals; glue dots; Snail Mail Combo Twine (white)- RETIRING! 

#1. 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2"

#2.  Cut off this piece from front of card.

#3.  This is the piece that you cut off & it will be re-attached to the top piece.

#4.  Lay it down like this- making sure that it is all even with side & bottom of card base.

Add adhesive (I used Multi-purpose glue).

#5.  Shut top card front & press together.  

You now have your Cris Cross fun fold!

• Balmy Blue- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2"- fold in half & then diagonal cut off the right edge.  You'll save this & reattach it after you adhere the DSP to it.
  
• Basic White- 4 1/4" strip- die cut 2 scalloped rectangle & stamp words onto them.  One is for the inside of the card & one is for the outside of the card.
  
• Basic White- 2" strip- stamp 3 peaches onto & die cut

Stampin' Up! Elegantly Said Bundle

 Yesterday I shared a simple black & white card 

with the 'Elegantly Said' Bundle.

You can see her by CLICKING HERE!

 

Check out today's double stamping card.

 Here is a a photo & steps on how I did the double stamping.

1.  4 x 5 1/4" Basic White CS

2.  2 1/2 x 4" Basic White CS

3.  Put the smaller piece of Basic White CS in the center of the larger piece & then stamp your images.

4.  Layer the center Basic White CS stamped piece onto a 2 3/4 x 4 1/4" piece of Basic Black CS.

5.  Layer this all onto a Basic Black card base.

 This is clean, simple & elegant.

I love the way it turned out!

Isn't this NEW Elegant Tag Punch just so cute!

stamp set:  'Elegantly Said'

card stock:

• Basic Black- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base

Stampin' Up! Elegantly Said Bundle- Simple Saturday

 Here is a Simple Saturday card!

Check out this pretty black & white card.

It is perfect for a bridal shower, wedding or anniversary!

I used the Elegantly Said Bundle that is on page 69 in the Annual Catalog.

 This is not a normal Susie card.

As I love layers.....but with all of the detail in this stamp- 

I didn't think I needed to add much more to it!

I thought this was a perfect card for Simple Saturday! 

 Look how I made the tag longer!

I cut a 1 3/4" strip & slid it down into the 

top part of the Elegant Tag Punch like shown above.

By doing it this way I got the top part  of the tag punch & 

was able to make it longer , so I could use these words!

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'Elegantly Said'

card stock:

• Thick Basic White- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2"- fold in half for card basee
  
• Basic Black- 1 3/4 x 3"
  
• Basic White-  1 3/4" strip- slide into the punch as shown in photo above.  Cut tag to be around 3 5/8" long
  
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card

Stampin' Up! Rainbow

Oh my gosh......today is Ainslee's 4th birthday!

How can she be so old already?

This is the card I made for her last night.

She loves rainbows!

I can't wait for her to open this up this morning.

I used the NEW 'Sharing Sunshine' & Basic Borders Dies.

 

Check out the cloud stencil I made using the Basic Border Dies

& then used my Blending Brush & Balmy Blue ink to make the clouds!

For the inside of the card I used the  NEW 'Sunny Sentiments'.

 I love the way it turned out!

Even Deke said- "that is pretty cool"!

So hope it meets Ainslee's approval too!
