It is time to celebrate!

The end of the Stampin' Up! year is today.

So this is a fun card that I sent to each of the gals that are directly under me

in my Iowa Inkers team.

I hope they liked it!

I am just a lovin' the new Back to Black Designer Paper

& this new 'Peace, Love & Cupcakes' stamp set.

PLUS I am also in love with this new BLACK ink pad!

It is the Memento one that you use with the Blendabilities-

but is works great to stand alone just as a great ink pad to stamp 
onto white or vanilla cardstock.

Yesterday did not go as planned.  

I woke up with a migraine, so laid back down for awhile.

When I got up I went to pull a pan out from under out kitchen sink so that I could go grill some brats.

AND it was wet!

Yep- my sink drain had rusted out & I had water standing inches deep under my sink.

So I removed everything!

Deke came in & we headed to Menards for parts to fix it.

5 hours & over $200 later- he got it all put back together.

While we were fixing it we decided to replace all of the pipes 
& the garbage disposal too.

What a mess!
We are still drying it out & he'll go to our local lumber yard today to have them 
cut a piece of plywood to put back in for a base piece 
so that I can put things back under there.

This mess so wasn't on my schedule for yesterday.

I'm just thankful that Deke is talented enough to fix it & it is now done.

I'm headed to town for Trey's 2 week check up here soon.

We'll have a busy day!!

Manda & I didn't get to stamp together yesterday like we had planned-

so that is now on our list of things to do later this afternoon/evening.

Our visitors today.....

I LOVE that Stampin' Up! has brought so many friends into our lives over the past 13 years.

Thankfully many of them are close by that I get to see often & stamp with!

But others are far away & I get to see them 1-3 times per year at our Stampin' Up! events.

How honored we are that my dear demonstrator friend Diana Gibbs from Arizona & her family made a special stop at our farm on their way through Iowa today.

I love to cook too.....so I got to make them all lunch!

Our kids (Nathan, Manda & Steve) & 4 grandsons were all here to join us too.

 

I made breaded tenderloins, cheesy potatoes, sweet corn & oreo dessert!

It was yummy!

I think they left with full tummies.

 Diana also got to cuddle with Trey some too!

 

How blessed I am!!!

Hello!

Here is a cute pinwheel banner I created with 

my July "My Paper Pumpkin" kit!

It is so cute!

And was so fast & easy to make.

 Look at all of these pinwheels!

There were 24 of the in the kit......

 Here is my completed banner.

Doesn't it look cute hanging on my family room entertainment center!

And here is are the pinwheels that I put into a mason jar as a centerpiece.

I had fun using my fringe scissors making the shredded paper in the the jar.

her husband Jeff & son Eric are coming to visit us at our home today!!

It is so amazing that Stampin' Up! has brought so many 

awesome friends into my life!

Diana is only one of the hundreds of friends that I treasure

& I love sharing our passion of stamping together.

So.....gotta run!

I'm gonna make sure the Gibb's don't leave here hungry.

Jeff will hopefully like the breaded tenderloins that I mam making for him.

So I still have lots to do before our guests arrive!

I met Jenny to get her pork for her moms party yesterday morning 
& then went to Manda's.
Last night was a late night on the farm with the piggies.
Thankfully it wasn't too hot.
Brayden was lovin' being here to help again.
He is quite the little farmer!

Tonight we'll be headed to Oskaloosa racing!

Our kids came for supper last night to celebrate Deke's birthday & Father's Day.
We grilled out on the porch since it was raining.
And had a great time with everyone here.

Deke is in the office this morning.
I'll pick him up at 10 & we are going to my friend Teresa's funeral.
What a sad day....she was such an awesome person & will be missed in our community so much.

Brayden is here today- so I'll drop him off at his G'ma Trudy's 
& then pick up back up after the funeral.

Tonight one of my downline- Cindy- is coming & we'll be designing 
& cutting her swap for convention!

We rushed off to take Brayden home yesterday morning to see his Uncle Bryce, 

picked up the twins & went to the parade.

We had a fun day with the boys.

I took them home early last evening & got to visit a bit & cuddle with Trey.

The guys all went racing- including Brayden, his Papa Mark & Uncle Bryce.

Nathan got 5th- but came home in one piece- thankfully.

Nathan brought pizza last night & we all ate supper in the shop together 

to celebrate Deke's birthday.

The guys got the car ready for more racing tonight.

Today is Steven's last day home with Manda & the boys before returning back to work on Monday.

It doesn't seem possible that Trey was already a week old yesterday!

He is just so precious!

 Trey had his first bottle yesterday that daddy gave him & did great!

And he got to go on his first walk!

We have another full day here.....

This morning I am off to help on the farm.

We had lightening hit the grinding shed last night & took out the scale.

I'll be headed for parts if we can find someone that has them on hand,

 so that Deke can get it fixed & be able to grind feed today.

As the piggies have to be fed.

Deke has meetings all afternoon in Mt. Pleasant for a board he is on for 

his Board of Supervisor job.

And then he'll be home to chore & we are all headed to Columbus Junction tonight to the races.

Brayden is going to my sisters this afternoon to go swimming with my 

great-nephew Lawson & will then be coming out here.

Another angel!

 

 Here is a photo of my dear friend Teresa Hoffman & her son.

She has always been an angel- but she left this world last night after 

a very long & hard battle with cancer.

She was just a beautiful person- inside & outside.

AND

 She was so talented & creative!

She loved scrapbooking & stamping!

She will be missed by many.

Deke has a meeting this morning.

I'll be at one of my other jobs today- in the office doing farm bookwork.

Then tonight I'll be going racing with my family.

And I've offered to the take the twins with me as I know they love cheering on Uncle Nathan.

Brayden & Nathan were here last night when I got home from my stamp delivery run.
I brought pizza home for supper & we all ate together in the shop.
Brayden ended up talking us into letting him spend the night 
since Nathan had an early meeting today.

I know that we have a full schedule today. 
 I'll be enjoying my 3 bigger boys together here.

Trey has a dr appointment to see how much he weighs & will get to meet Dr. Mary.
I'll be so excited to hear all about that.

Then tonight will be a late night on the farm, 
as I'll be a farmer helping Deke sell hogs.
