Yesterday was a busy day.  The kids were out of school for Spring Break, so they were home with their moms- which ended up working out good.  As Deke & I went to Mikes' funeral in the morning & then home to work on the farm all afternoon.  Nathan, Brayden & Masen came down to check out the baby piggies.  And Brayden helped Deke & I, sort & count them.  It was fun having him there.  Usually he missed out on this, as he is in school.  Masen wasn't thrilled about the piggies, but warmed up some & even ended up getting into the pen with them & putting some feed on their mat.  It was cute! 

Last night I worked on paper work.  But I still have piles to catch up on.  

This morning Deke is up early to chore & then head to a meeting.  I don't have any kids again today, so I'm going to make a quick trip to town to deposit a hog check, get a few groceries & come home to spend the rest of my day/evening working on unpacking stampin' stuff from my 'All Occasions' classes.

Yesterday was a fun day with the kids. The boys made Easter Bunny Plates.  They had sticky fingers, but they had alot of fun & did a great job!  

Last night we went to Mary's visitation in Sigourney & then Mike's visitation in What Cheer.  Both of them had long lines outside & it was late when we got home.

This morning Deke will chore & then we are going to Mike's funeral.  We'll hurry home from there, as we have baby piggies coming today too!  So we'll be busy on the farm the rest of the day.

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  Trey & I made Egg shaped Scotheroos & had fun doing that.  When the kids went home last night we went to town to pick up Manda & went to Don's visitation.  Deke & I grabbed a quick sandwich in town for supper afterwards.  I then came home & worked on bookwork.

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to his courthouse office for the morning.  I'm off to town to get the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones. 

Tonight we are going to 2 visitations- one in Sigourney & one in What Cheer.

Yesterday was a fun day hanging out with the kids.   When everyone was gone last night I did some farm bookwork & laundry & called it a night.  I had a zillion other things I should have done, but was tired & decided it could wait.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to town to a 7 a.m. meeting.  He'll then work on the farm the rest of the day.  I'm off to town to take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight Deke & I will be going to a visitation of a friend's dad that passed.  And I hope to stamp a little before I go to bed.

I just stamped multiple times, all around the edges.  This is one of the cards everyone at my 'All Occasions' card class made this past week.

Yesterday was a long day.  I left early in the morning & it was late when I got home.  It was a perfect day of stamping though!  I'm so glad that so many joined me for a great day of stamping!  And I so appreciated all of the help from Ruth, Sandy, Peggy, Dena & Nancy in helping to clean up/and or set up too!  

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm up early to get some boxes of stamp set I carried in from yesterday's class put away & then head out to go to town.  I'll take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  The 3 big boys will be here after school too.  Tonight when the kids go home I'll be stamping!

'Moon Baby'- boy

Don't you just love this baby card!!!  What great baby boy card it is!

This stamp set is just soooooo CUTE!!!  I have used it several times & never get tired of it.  You can come up with so many different looks!  It is just so adorable!!

Looks closely at the baby, moon & stars!  I colored them using the Stampin' Blends!  And if you look closely at them I used the Wink of Stella over the top of the stars to make the shine!!

Yesterday was a long day!!  It started out with me helping Deke & working on the farm bright & early in the dark!  Our trucker was late getting here & it ended up not being a good morning at all. Which meant I was late getting to Manda's to get the boys & so on.   I guess it all worked out.  I did enjoy my day with the 3 little ones & then the 3 big boys all road the bus here after school too.  When everyone went home I worked on cutting card stock!  And Deke worked late on the farm moving pigs.

Gosh- you gotta love this Iowa weather.  I don't think Mother Nature realizes that it was the first day of Spring this week!  We got alot of rain last night.  Thankfully it was warm enough to not freeze......but I'm not sure what today will end up bringing.  We are currently under a winter snow storm warning for the day.  Thus, I ended up rescheduling my 'All Occasions' class for today & it will now be tomorrow!  The Cedar Rapids/Waterloo area is to get 3-10" of snow.  We are only suppose to get 1-3" here at our home, but we are suppose to some get ice too.  I have been watching the weather all week & I've been totally freaking out on worrying about what to do.  I just hated to reschedule & I don't think in over 16 years I've ever had to do it- but I didn't want to risk anyone being in an accident traveling to a stamp class or going home from one.  So we'll see how much snow we end up getting by the end of today.  Knowing my luck, since I rescheduled my class we'll probably not get too much snow at all.  But I just wanted everyone to be safe!  And tomorrow there is no precipitation in the forecast......so I pray that all will work out for our class then.

So this morning Grandma is keeping Ms. Ainslee for awhile, as today is swine weigh-in for 4-H.  So Nathan & the boys are off to weigh in Brayden's 4-H pigs.  We have some super excited little boys with their pigs.  After Ainslee leaves I'll be stamping the whole day!  I have lots I need to get caught up on.  I'll finish getting things packed up & the food cooked & everything ready for tomorrow's class.

Yesterday was a busy day with kids & then I burnt the midnight oil again cutting card stock.

It was a short night, as we were up early this morning at 5:00 a.m. to mark, sort & load hogs.  Hopefully the semi is on time, so I can get to town in time for Manda to leave for work.  I'll take the twins to school & then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight when the kids go home I'll be finishing cutting card stock, packing things up, loading my car & cooking!  As tomorrow I have my All Occasions Card Class in Hiawatha!  I have a big group joining me & I'm looking forward to spending our day together stamping!!

'Layering Love'- chalk board technique!

Wow- these words  from the 'Layering Love' stamp set are so awesome!!  And they just really hit home with me.  As I have been going 100 mph the past couple of weeks- but every day I am reminded by our 6 little ones (& some of them aren't so little any more), how precious the little things in life are!!  And how truly blessed we are!!!

I needed a quick card to send to a friend, so whipped up this card.  It just made me smile.  It isn't anything too fancy or special!  But I think it is so cute!!  I just love the chalk board technique & I've used this stamp set before with it.  

I think the sparkly red heart helps to pull it all together, add that little splash of color & glimmer & helps to melt your heart!

Delightful Daisy DSP1

Here is a sympathy card that makes me think of Spring!!  Yesterday was ice, snow & cold.  Today it was warm, sunny & nice!

This card is one of the ones for my 'All Occasions' card classes.  It seems that I have the most requests for birthday & sympathy cards.  This card could be either of those if you just changed out the words.

Yesterday was a long day.  I was up bright & early & out the door.  I spent several hours in South English cleaning up from my class the day before.  I made a quick trip home to work on the farm & help Deke sell hogs.  And then he went back with me to South English to put away the tables & chairs & finish cleaning the building.  It was late when we got home.  We got the car unloaded & went to bed.  We were both just beat. 

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to his weekly board meeting.  I'm up early to get some things put away (that I carried in last night & just sat in the family room)- before I have to leave to go to town.  I'll take the boys to school & then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  The 3 big ones will ride the bus out here after school.  Tonight when everyone is gone home I'll be cutting card stock for this coming Saturday's big stamp class.

'Lovely As A Tree'

This stamp set- 'Lovely As A Tree', is an oldie, but it sure it a goodie!  Year after year, when the new catalog comes out- the first thing I do is check to see if it still in the catalog for at least another year or not.

I love this stamp set!  It has endless possibilities.  It is an especially great stamp set for guys & sympathy cards.

I am usually not a simple stamper.  I love fun folds, lots of layers & lots of dimensionals.  But I think this card turned out cute!  This is one of the cards for my upcoming "All Occasions" stamp-a-stack classes.   I stamped this one to be a sympathy card, as I've been needing alot of them lately.

Gotta run....Deke is off to chore & head to his office at the courthouse.  I'm off early to go to Manda's to get the boys ready & take the twins to school.  I'll then spend my day with the 3 little ones today.  Tonight when everyone has gone home I'll be burning the midnight oil again stamping!

'Sweet Little Something'- Easter Bunny!!

Oh my gosh!!  Have you checked out this adorable bunny that is on page 40 in the Occasions Catalog?  He is soooo cute!!  And he looks so soft & fuzzy doesn't he!  He is just the perfect Easter Bunny from the 'Sweet Little Something' stamp set. 

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me to stamp at my monthly classes last week got to make!  It was a favorite of many! 

I gave them the option of making it into a baby card (instead of an Easter card) too!  And they could then use the Soft Sky or Blushing Bride for the DSP & the card stock for the bow & the card stock for the Classic Label Punch too!

This is a fun fold easel card & it stands up like this!

This designer paper- Bundle of Love Specialty DSP- is really cool too!!  It is all Vanilla & Gold on one side & then it has the same pattern on the back side but has 2 sheets that are Blushing Bride & Vanilla & 2 sheets that are Soft Sky- in all 3 patterns in this package!  Check it out!  You'll find it on page 189 in the Annual Catalog.

Yesterday was a long day.  I started out early stamping, then kids & then stamping a little more.  I burnt the midnight oil getting orders placed from the 4 stamp classes that I had this past weekend.  It was a short night. 

We are up early at 5 am again today to mark, sort & sell hogs!  I'll then spend my day with the 2 little ones- Masen & Ainslee.  Trey won't be here today.  Tonight when the kids go home I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping!

Petal Passion Designer Paper!

There is a pretty black & white card!!  And those of you that know me, know that I love black & white cards!

Wow- this Petal Passion Designer Paper is just totally amazing.  I love every image in the whole pack!  

There are just so many possibilities- getting a different look with the different images in this Petal Passion Designer Paper.  As there are stripes on the back side of the little white flowers!  And it would look really cool here too just by flipping over to the other side.

Yesterday was a great day of stamping!  I'm glad that so many joined us.  Cathy & Judy were great hostesses!  We had yummy treats, fun cards to stamp & lots of friends together.  What else could you ask for!

I was beat when I got home last night.  I made supper, unloaded my car & burnt the midnight oil stamping.  This coming week is my Annual 40 card "All Occasions" class & I have lots of creating & cutting to get done!!

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm up early & will be stamping until the kids get here!  And I'll be a stamping fool, burning the midnight oil again tonight when they are all gone home.

A dutch door fold- 'Magic Day' card!

Check out this cute dutch door fold card!  This is one that everyone joining me this week for my monthly March classes is making!!

I love fun folds!!  And I try to do at least one each month at my monthly classes.  This is what it looks like when it is opened up.

Measurements:
Pacific Point- 

• 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"
• 8 1/2 x 2 3/4"- fold in half & attach to the bottom front of the card
• 4 1/2 x 3"
• 2 3/4' strip- for circle punch out

Marina Mist- 

• 4 1/4 x 2 3/4"

Whisper White-

• 4 x 5 1/4"
• 2 1/2 x 1 1/2"- for outside to stamp words on
• 2 3/4" strip - to stamp image on & punch out with circle punch

Ribbon- 10"

I thought this stamp set worked perfectly for this fun fold card!!  Check out the pretty designer paper.  It is actually from the Sweet Soiree' Specialty DSP.  

My stampers got the choice of punching out the image they choose or use the coordinating Magical Mates Framelits Dies.  You should see the dragon, the unicorn & the mermaid on this card.  They are super cute too!
