I will be doing a 12 day countdown with Christmas projects.
Here is day #1.......
This is a cute little angle ornament.
Notice how I made a 'window' in a card front so that the angel could
be taped to the inside of the card.
So when you give this card, the recipient can take the ornament out
& hang it on their Christmas tree!
This is one of the projects that everyone made at my
Holiday Extravaganza event last month.
I just love the way it turned out!
Here are the supplies & measurements that I used.
stamp set: 'Round We Go'
card stock:
- Basic Beige-5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
- Basic Beige- 3 3/4 x 5"- attach to card front & die cut circle using Stylish Shapes Dies to make the 'window' in the card front. Now stamp asterisk's around the top 2/3rds of the card layer as shown in the photo.
- Very Vanilla- 1 1/4" strip- stamp words onto & punch out with retired Double Oval Punch
- Very Vanilla- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
- Gold Foil- 1 1/2" strip- die cut angel halo- using 2 dies & use the center circle for the angel head
designer paper: Season of Green & Gold DSP-
- 5 1/2" strip- die cut with pleated die (pleat & use as angel body)
- 5" strip- die cut with pleated die (cut in half, pleat & use as angel arms)
ink: Crumb Cake
other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Round We Go Dies; Stylish Shapes Dies; Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishment; dimensionals; glue dots
now retired: Gold Cord; Double Oval Punch
Non-Stampin' Up!: Hot Glue Gun
