Watercoloring plus 'Dragonfly Dreams'!!

Check out this watercolor wash technique done with our new Watercolor Pencils & an aqua painter.

This technique was one that Shelli Gardner demonstrated for us when I attended the Stampin' Up! On Stage event in Madison, Wisconsin in November!  Isn't it pretty!

I want to give a big shout out to my awesome helper- my husband Deke!!  This week has been crazy with sick kids, pigs, etc.  And while watching the Iowa Hawkeye's win the basketball on Thursday night he cut all of these dragonflies for me!!  Plus he did quite a bit of the other Big Shot things for me too.   Those of you that attend my classes here me tell you how much I appreciate him.  But I don't think those of you that just read my blog know this.  I help him on the farm & he helps me cutting things with the Big Shot!  And I am so thankful he helps me!   

So what do you think?  Does this card make you think of spring?  I love the glimmer & shine of it!  The ribbon & the silver sequins just make it pop!

Last night was a fun night of stamping with everything that joined me!  

I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock after everyone left.  

This morning I"m up early & setting up more tables & chair, moving furniture, baking cookie bars & finishing up a few more things before everyone joins me to stamp this morning too!

This afternoon Susie's Hair Hut is open for business, as Nathan needs a hair cut sooo bad.  Then I'm a farmer the rest of the afternoon helping Deke sort & move pigs!

Tonight I'll be cleaning up from the past 2 classes here.  And getting everything packed up & ready to head out early in the morning tomorrow- as I have 2 stamp class again tomorrow too!
